La figure 1 représente une vue en plan du dispositif de culbutage;

Device for tumbling rolled products.
The present invention relates to a tumbler-displacer for rolled products and is intended to be used primarily as a lateral movement displacer of the laminates on rolling mill conveyors of the known construction in which it is provided, for gripping the rolled product. , sensor elements which can be put into the rest position by lowering below the working plane of the rolling mill conveyor
Various types of rocking apparatus of this kind are known in the form of separately controlled pressure rollers ("Frîemel" rocker device) or in the known form in which the rollers for gripping the products.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Rolled shapes are formed as elements of a system of levers joined together in the manner of grippers.
The basic principle of the rocker arm which is the object of the present invention consists in placing in a movable manner under the work surface the casing of adjustable pressure elements serving to grip the product to be rolled as a single one while in order to carry out the tumbling. and also the downward movement. This result can be obtained, for example, by suspending the casing of the pressure rollers in rockers capable of rotating about a horizontal axis, while particular devices or guide rails perform, during the upward pivoting of the casing of the rollers. pressure ;, the desired tumbling motion.
The drawing schematically shows one embodiment of the present invention.
Figure 1 shows a plan view of the tumbling device;
Figure 2 shows a side elevational view thereof and Figure 3 shows a detail of the rocker arm control device shown on a larger scale in Figure 4.
Reference numeral 1 denotes a supporting frame for the pressure rollers 3, mounted so as to pivot freely in the carriage 2. These pressure rollers 3 are movable in a circle in a horizontal plane. The frame 1 in which the control members for the arms 4 are located, mounted so as to pivot at 5 and carrying the pressure rollers 3, is suspended from the rockers 6 so as to be able to oscillate freely (see reference number 7). Slack shaft 8

Rotation element 6 is mounted in the frame 2 and can tilt up or down using the motor 9 via the worm.
Inside the longitudinal faces of the carriage 2 are curved rails 11 for guide rollers 12 arranged on the carcass 1.
The operation of the rocker device described takes place as follows
The carcass 1 is lifted by the motor 9 if the pressure rollers 5 are below the level of the plane of the conveyor. This operation takes place using the motor 9 by pivoting the rockers 6 upwards. Using the motor designated by the reference 13, the arms 4 are then rotated until the rollers 3 enter the rolled bar; this bar is represented by the drawing and is designated by the reference numeral 14. The rockers 6 are then pivoted even more upwards.
During this operation, the rollers 12, after a short stroke, come into contact with the guide rails 11 which communicate to the carcass which lifts with the rolled product clamped between the rollers 3, a rotational movement around the axis of oscillation 7. This movement results in tumbling the rolled bar around its edge and the diamond-shaped bar can be directed towards the rolling mill or it can be rotated by 180, after having released from the pressure rollers.
As can be seen from the arrangement of the pressure rollers and their adjustment possibilities, the rocker arm can be used within very wide limits for the most varied thicknesses of the sheets.
When the carcass 1 is lowered, the latter returns with the pressure rollers 3 in its body.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
original position represented by the drawing; it therefore performs a pivoting movement to return to its original position and, when the pendulums 6 are continued to descend, it comes to occupy the non-use position while maintaining its perpendicular position. The control for rotating the arms 4 carrying the pressure rollers 3 is shown in Figures 3 and 4.
According to these figures, the motor 13 controls, by means of the conical transmission, the worm 16 of the common shaft
17, which thanks to the oblique arrangement drawn, allows the central arrangement of the motor between the two worm wheels 18 on the shafts 5.
From a construction point of view, the implementation of the present invention is not related to the embodiment shown. Thus, for example, the pressure rollers 3 can be mounted in a fixed or adjustable manner on a rotating element located in the frame 1, or these rollers can be mounted in a fixed manner. so as to be able to execute a rectilinear movement with respect to each other on the frame 1. Instead of guide curves and corresponding rollers, it is possible to use steering members, etc. The invention consists in the principle of housing the support of the clamping rollers
3 as a whole, in a pivotable manner, in the rocker frame.
