Abstract

Un proceso integrado, adecuado para uso en una planta nueva o reacondicionada, produce una olefina o di-olefina mediante la deshidrogenación de una alimentación de hidrocarburo C₃₋₄ apropiado incluye (1) contactar la alimentación y un catalizador de deshidrogenación que presenta una clasificación Geldart A o Geldart B en un lecho fluidizado a una temperatura de 550ºC a 760ºC y una presión de aproximadamente 41,4 a aproximadamente 308,2 kPa (aproximadamente 6,0 a aproximadamente 44,7 psia) y una velocidad de alimentación del catalizador, w/w, de 5 a 100 para formar un producto deshidrogenado; separar el producto deshidrogenado y la mezcla de alimentación de partida sin reaccionar de una porción del catalizador por medio de un sistema de separación ciclónica; reactivar el catalizador en un regenerador fluidizado mediante la combustión a una temperatura de 660ºC a 850ºC, seguido del contacto con un fluido que contiene oxígeno a 660ºC o mayor, y retornando el catalizador al reactor de deshidrogenación; (2) comprimir la mezcla del producto para formar una mezcla del producto comprimida; y (3) fraccionar la mezcla del producto comprimida para formar una corriente de producto que incluye al menos la olefina o di-olefina meta. El proceso integrado ofrece una mayor capacidad de planta, un rendimiento mejorado y un impacto ambiental reducido en comparación con otros procesos conocidos y convencionales.
