Abstract
Un proceso para iniciar una reacción continua en un sistema de reactor incluye introducir un catalizador en una porción de procesamiento de catalizador del sistema de reactor, en donde inicialmente el catalizador tiene una primera temperatura de 500 °C o menos, y poner en contacto el catalizador a la primera temperatura con una corriente de gas combustible de inicio que incluye al menos 80 % molar de un gas combustible de inicio, en la porción de procesamiento de catalizador. Poner en contacto el catalizador con la corriente de gas combustible de inicio causa la combustión del gas combustible de inicio. El proceso incluye mantener el contacto del catalizador con la corriente de gas combustible de inicio hasta que la temperatura del catalizador aumente de la primera temperatura a una segunda temperatura a la cual la combustión de una fuente de combustible del regenerador mantiene un intervalo de temperatura de funcionamiento en la porción de procesamiento de catalizador.
