Abstract

Se proporciona un dispositivo de frenado por descompresión que se usa en motores endotérmicos (1) del tipo que comprende un eje de palanca (2), en el cual una pluralidad de bujes excéntricos (31) de una correspondiente pluralidad de palancas (3) dispuestas con empujaválvulas (4) se montan de manera giratoria y excéntrica para accionar una pluralidad de válvulas de escape (5), y un árbol de levas (30) para accionar dicha pluralidad de palancas (3), el dispositivo se caracteriza porque comprende una pieza de accionamiento (6, 61), montada en posición externa a dicho eje de palanca (2) y conectada a este último a través de medios de unión (8, 9, 10); de manera tal que la respectiva rotación de dichos bujes (31) en un valor angular predeterminado ( ), con el consecuente desplazamiento del eje abisagrado de dichas palancas (3), corresponde a cada excursión de dicha pieza de accionamiento (6, 60).
