Abstract
Después se realiza un calentamiento a una velocidad elevada, de aproximadamente 100°C por segundo; y se enfría rápida y completamente el tubo de acero en una solucion de enfriamiento basada en agua, a una velocidad de enfriamiento de entre aproximadamente 100°C por segundo. El acero tiene una resistencia a la traccion de al menos aproximadamente 145 ksi, y tan elevada como 220 ksi, y presenta un comportamiento ductil a temperaturas tan bajas como -100°C. Reivindicacion 1: Un tubo de acero de aleacion con bajo contenido de carbono que, en peso, consiste esencialmente en: entre aproximadamente 0,06% y aproximadamente 0,18% de carbono; entre aproximadamente 0,5% y aproximadamente 1,5% de manganeso; entre aproximadamente 0,1% y aproximadamente 0,5% de silicio; hasta aproximadamente 0,015% de azufre; hasta aproximadamente 0,025% de fosforo; hasta aproximadamente 0,50% de níquel; entre aproximadamente 0,1% y aproximadamente 1,0% de cromo; entre aproximadamente 0,1% y aproximadamente 1,0% de molibdeno; entre aproximadamente 0,01% y aproximadamente 0,10% de vanadio; entre aproximadamente 0,01% y aproximadamente 0,10% de titanio; entre aproximadamente 0,05% y aproximadamente 0,35% de cobre; entre aproximadamente 0,010% y aproximadamente 0,050% de aluminio; hasta aproximadamente 0,05% de niobio; hasta aproximadamente 0,15% de elementos residuales; y el resto está compuesto por hierro e impurezas incidentales, donde el tubo de acero tiene una resistencia a la traccion de al menos aproximadamente 145 ksi y una temperatura de transicion entre ductil y frágil inferior a -60°C.
