Abstract
Un método y aparato para producir silicato de calcio hidratado. Se combina un material calcáreo con una suspensión o un agente formador de gel. El gel que se obtiene se combina luego con un material silíceo para formar una matriz reactiva preferiblemente homogénea. Después se somete dicha matriz a alta presión y temperatura para formar silicato de calcio hidratado sin necesidad de mezcla ni agitación. El silicato de calcio hidratado que se obtiene tiene un alto contenido de sólidos después de la reacción, de aproximadamente un 35% o mayor.
