Abstract
Se hidrogenan acetilenos y dienos en una corriente que contiene hidrógeno, metano, olefinas y parafinas C2-6, acetilenos y dienos C2-6, benceno, tolueno, xilenos y otros componentes de C6+ en un reactor de punto de ebullición de flujo descendente, en el cual el calor de la reacción es absorbido por el líquido contenido en el reactor, que produce un vapor. Aparte de la alimentación al reactor, hay una corriente recirculante que es alimentada a una velocidad suficiente para garantizar que las partículas de catalizador presentes en el interior del reactor se humedezcan. Una tercera corriente, que es tomada de una columna de destilación en la etapa posterior del proceso, es alimentada para aportar una masa de reposición correspondiente a la masa que se evapora en el reactor. La composición de esta tercera corriente controla la composición en estado estable del líquido que fluye a través del reactor.
