Abstract

Uso de un compuesto antiinflamatorio que comprende por lo menos un dominio de union de NEMO para preparar una composicion farmacéutica de utilidad en un método de modulacion de la induccion de NF-kB en una célula, que comprende poner en contacto una célula con una cantidad efectiva de dicho compuesto, por medio de lo cual se modula la induccion de NF-kB en la célula. Uso de un compuesto antiinflamatorio para preparar una composicion farmacéutica de utilidad en un método de tratamiento de un sujeto que padece un desorden inflamatorio, que comprende administrar al sujeto dicho compuesto antiinflamatorio en una cantidad efectiva como para tratar dicho sujeto que padece un desorden antiinflamatorio. Método de identificacion de un compuesto capaz de interactuar con NEMO, que comprende exponer células que expresan NEMO y NF-kB a un compuesto de prueba y determinar si el compuesto de prueba modula la activacion de NF-kB por parte de la célula , donde una alteracion en la activacion de NF-kB es indicativa de un compuesto capaz de interactuar con NEMO, y método de identificacion de un compuesto que modula una actividad de NEMO, que comprende exponer células que expresan NEMO a un compuesto de prueba y determinar si el compuesto de prueba modula una actividad de NEMO, por medio de lo cual se identifica un compuesto que modula una actividad de NEMO. Compuesto antiinflamatorio que comprende un dominio de union de NEMO fusionado con por lo menos un dominio de translocacion en membrana y composicion farmacéutica que lo comprende. Péptido aislado, o un péptido aislado que comprende un fragmento de por lo menos tres aminoácidos o una sustitucion de aminoácidos conservadora, o una secuencia de aminoácidos natural variante, que comprenden la secuencia de aminoácidos establecida en la Secuencia de Identificacion No. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 o 19; y molécula de ácido nucleico aislada que codifica la secuencia de aminoácidos o que codifica un fragmento de por lo menos tres aminoácidos de dichas Secuencias. Uso de un compuesto antiinflamatorio que inhibe la union de NEMO a una IKK para preparar una composicion farmacéutica de utilidad en un método de tratamiento de una condicion mediada por NF-kB en un sujeto mediante la administracion al sujeto una cantidad efectiva de dicho compuesto. Compuesto antiinflamatorio que comprende la estructura: Xa-Xb, en la cual Xa es un dominio de translocacion en membrana que comprende entre 6 y 15 residuos de aminoácidos; y Xb es una secuencia de union de NEMO. Preferentemente, Xb está constituida por la siguiente estructura: (Y)n-X1-X2-X3-X4-X5-X6-(A)m en la cual; n y m son respectivamente, e independientemente, 0 o 1; A e Y comprenden respectivamente entre 1 y aproximadamente 3 residuos de aminoácidos; X1 es L, A, I o nor-leucina (Nle); X2 es D, E, N, Q, homoserina (Hser) o 2-quetopropilalanina (2-quetopropi-A); X3 es W, F, Y, 4-bifenil alanina (Bpa), homofenilalanina (Hphe); 2-Naftilalanina (1-Nal), o cicloxexil-alanina (Cha); X4 es S, A, E, L, T, nor-leucina (Nle), u homoserina (Hser); X5 es W, H, homofenilalanina (Hphe), 2-Naftilalanina (2-Nal), 1-Naftilalanina (1-Nal), O-bencil serina (SeroBn), o 3-Piridilalanina (3-Pal); y X6 es L, A, I, o nor-leucina (Nle).
