Abstract

Se revela un método y un aparato para determinar el caudal de fluido que circula a través de un regulador de presion. El regulador de presion estádispuesto en un pasaje de caudal de fluido y tiene un elemento de regulacion que se mueve dentro delpas aje. Un vástago está adherido al elemento deregulacion. El aparato incluye un primer sensor de presion para medir la presion aguas arriba del elemento de regulacion, un segundo sensor de presion paramedir la presion aguas abajo del elemento deregula cion, y un sensor de posicion del sensor para detectar la posicion del elemento de regulacion. Se provee unprocesador el cual incluye un algoritmo almacenado para determinar el valor del caudal circulante en base a la presion medida y losvalores de los recorridos.El método para determinar el caudal de fluido circulante incluye los pasos de generacion de un valor de presion de fluido aguas arriba, un valor de presion defluido aguas abajo y un valor de recorrido mediante ladeterminacion de una p osicion del elemento de regulacion. Se calcula el caudal de fluido basado en elvalor de presion aguas arriba, el valor de presion aguas abajo y el valor del recorrido.
