Abstract

Método y aparato para determinar el flujo de fluido a través de un regulador de presión. El regulador de presión está dispuesto en un pasaje de flujo de fluido y tiene un elemento móvil de estrangulación en el pasaje de flujo. El elemento de estrangulación tiene un vástago. El aparato incluye un primer sensor de presión para medir una presión corriente arriba del elemento de estrangulación, un segundo sensor de presión para medir una presión de corriente abajo, corriente abajo del elemento de estrangulación, y un sensor de desplazamiento para detectar la posición del elemento de estrangulación. Se prevé un procesador que contiene un algoritmo para determinar el caudal en base a la presión y los valores de desplazamiento medidos y está destinado a calibrar el regulador de presión usando un caudalímetro temporario dispuesto corriente abajo del elemento de estrangulación. También se prevé un sistema y un método para calibrar un transmisor de temperatura asociado con el regulador de presión.
