Abstract
Un procedimiento para producir un embrion animal que comprende las etapas siguientes: (a) obtener un fibroblasto fetal; (b) combinar el nucleodel fibroblasto fetal con una célula receptora adecuada sin fijar el fibroblasto fetal por manipulacion externa en la fase GO antes de la combinacion;(c) dejar que las células así obtenidas crezcan durante un período de tiempo para que se forme un blastocito, y, opcionalmente; (d) introducir la masa crecidade células en un animal madre. Los animales que seobtienen empleando el procecimiento descripto anteriormente. Con la tecnología del estado de latécnica se presentaba el problema de encontrar células donoras adecuadas para la transferencia nuclear con las cuales fuera posible producir un embrionanimal de la manera más conveniente y economica. Tal como es sabido, la mayor dificultad de la clonacion de embriones es la reprogramacion de nucleo de ADNde la célula donora correspondiente elegida. Así, a pesar de todos los resultados obtenidos en este campo, aun existían problemas respecto de unareprogramacion efectiva del ADN de nucleo donor que permitiera llevar la célula manipulada que contiene el nucleo nuevo a un estado cercano aldel de un cigota natural. Esto se manifestaba, entre otras cosas, como un rendimiento extremadamente bajo con respecto a la produccion deblastocitos embrionarios y una velocidad de division baja. Con el procedimiento mencionado más arriba se superan estas desventajas del estado de la tecnica,empleando fibroblastos fetales en calidad de célula donora para la transferencia nuclear. El nucleo de esta célula se combina con una célula receptora adecuaday la célula así obtenida se hace crecer durante un período de tiempo, de manera de formar una morula. La morula así obtenida puede opcionalmente volver a serusada para la clonacion y ser introducida dentro de un animal madre para el alumbramiento. Empleando el procedimiento indicado mas arriba se puede lograr unincremento de la produccion de proteínas animales homologas, una modificacion en los productos animales tales como la leche misma, o la produccion de
