Abstract
Una solución acuosa de fosfato de manganeso y ácido fosfórico que preferentemente no contiene o posee un escaso contenido de cualquier materialconvencionalmente reconocido como acelerador, o de cualquier ion metálico divalente ademásde manganeso y hierro, forma un recubrimiento de conversión defosfato base para pintura de buena calidad sobre sustratos metálicos, particularmente de acero y acero galvanizado, cuando es puesta en contacto porvaporización o inmersión conl os mencionados sustratos bajo una temperatura que oscila entre 54 y 65 grados C y durante un período de tiempo que oscilaentre 0.5 y 5 minutos.
