Abstract
Una combinación de un ácido orgánico bi-funcional, de preferencia un ácido hidroxi tal como el ácido cítrico, o bien una sal del mismo con polímeros deácido acrílico/acrilato, en composiciones líquidas formadoras de una cobertura de conversión def osfato de zinc, de preferencia también conteniendohidroxilamina, lo que se traduce en un refinamiento del tamano del cristal en la cobertura ya formada y/o en una formación más rápida de una cobertura losuficientemente gruesa como para protegercon tra la oxidación subsecuente de un sustrato ferroso. Se provee una composición para ser usada tal como es o biendiluida con agua y un proceso para formar una cobertura de conversión de fosfato.
