Definitions
- Motor vehicle lock in particular motor vehicle door lock
- the invention relates to a motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, with an actuating lever chain with at least one locking lever and a safety lever, for example an anti-theft lever, and with at least one electric motor drive for actuating the safety lever and/or the locking lever.
- Motor vehicle locks and in particular motor vehicle door locks can typically not only be unlocked and locked, but also have an anti-theft function.
- the procedure is such that an external actuating lever chain of the associated motor vehicle lock is mechanically interrupted or closed.
- the interrupted state is part of the "locked" position, in which an actuation of the outside actuating lifting chain with, for example, an outside door handle does not result in a locking mechanism made of rotary latch and pawl that has been acted upon using the actuating lever chain, starting from its closed state.
- the locking lever is disengaged , so that the described loading of the outside door handle corresponds to an idle travel on the locking lever, which consequently does not transmit the actuating movement any further.
- an inside actuating lever chain is typically and unchanged still effective, so that the motor vehicle lock in question is opened from the inside, for example via an inside door handle can be.
- the “secured” functional position of the anti-theft lever corresponds to both the internal actuating lever chain and the external actuating lever chain being mechanically interrupted are. To do this, the locking lever on the external actuating lever chain is disengaged. An associated locking lever of the inside actuating lever chain is also disengaged. As a result of this, the associated motor vehicle lock cannot be opened either from the inside or from the outside, so that effective anti-theft protection is implemented.
- the safety lever can also be a child safety lever.
- the "secured" functional position corresponds to the fact that an internal actuating lever chain on rear motor vehicle side doors is mechanically interrupted, whereas the associated external actuating lever chain still allows the relevant rear motor vehicle side door to be opened.
- the safety lever can be acted upon with the aid of a motor drive and additionally by an emergency actuation lever.
- the safety lever has a spring for its positioning.
- the state of the art has proven itself in principle, but still offers room for improvement.
- the locking lever and the safety lever or anti-theft lever are thus regularly functionally coupled to one another.
- the procedure is such that the two levers are mounted on the same axis as one another.
- there are also requirements such that a functional separation is desired between the locking function on the one hand and the anti-theft function or the security function in general on the other.
- the invention is based on the technical problem of further developing such a motor vehicle lock and in particular a motor vehicle door lock in such a way that the locking lever and the safety lever can be functionally separated from one another and this makes it possible, for example, to switch from the “secured” functional position to the “locked” functional position “ to be able to switch.
- the invention based on a generic motor vehicle lock and in particular a motor vehicle door lock, proposes that a control lever be provided for engaging/disengaging the locking lever, the control lever being able to be acted upon both with the aid of the motor-actuated anti-theft lever and with an electromagnet unit is.
- the control lever for engaging/disengaging the locking lever can also be magnetically acted upon by an electromagnet unit in addition and independently of this.
- an electromagnet unit which is usually designed to be metallic or magnetizable, can be attracted or held in place when the electromagnet unit is energized. If, on the other hand, the electromagnet unit is not energized or is not energized, the control lever remains unaffected.
- the motor-actuated safety lever “secured” in a first actuation direction acts on the control lever in a mandatory manner for disengaging the locking lever.
- the safety lever not only is the safety lever in its “secured” position, but the locking lever is also disengaged, so that overall and in the example, both an internal actuating lever chain and an external actuating lever chain are each mechanically interrupted and the functional status "anti-theft" or "secured” corresponds to this .
- the motor-actuated safety lever can be “unlocked” in a second actuation direction, opposite to the first actuation direction, using the electric motor drive.
- this second actuation direction “unlocked” of the safety lever the safety lever does not act on the control lever. Rather, this is acted upon in this second actuation direction "unlocked” of the safety lever only with the aid of the electromagnet unit.
- the design is such that the control lever engages the locking lever in the second actuation direction of the safety lever and when the electromagnet unit is de-energized. When the electromagnet unit is energized, however, the locking lever is disengaged .
- the engaged locking lever corresponds to the "unlocked” position, i.e. to the fact that the associated actuating lever chain and in particular the external actuating lever chain is mechanically closed.
- the disengaged locking lever corresponds to the "locked” position.
- the actuating lever chain or external actuating lever chain in question is mechanically interrupted.
- the motor-operated safety lever To leave the "secured” or "anti-theft device” position, it is only necessary for the motor-operated safety lever to be acted upon in the second actuation direction "unlocked". The control lever is not affected here. Depending on whether the electromagnet unit is energized or remains de-energized, the control lever is acted upon or not acted upon accordingly. When the electromagnet unit is de-energized, the control lever is not mechanically attracted by the electromagnet unit and ensures that the locking lever (if necessary spring-assisted) is engaged. Because as a rule, the control lever in question is equipped with a spring that biases the control lever in the direction of an engaged position of the locking lever.
- control lever if the control lever is acted upon neither by the motor-actuated safety lever nor by the de-energized electromagnet unit, it assumes its predetermined position with the aid of the spring, thus ensuring that the locking lever is engaged.
- the associated actuating lever chain and in particular the external actuating lever chain is in its “unlocked” position.
- the electromagnet unit is energized after the motorized actuation of the safety lever in the second direction of actuation, this ensures that the control lever is magnetically attracted and held in place. As a result, the control lever causes the locking lever to be disengaged. During this process, the energized electromagnet unit has to overcome the force of the spring assigned to the control lever.
- the locking lever is disengaged during normal operation and when the electromagnet unit is energized and assumes its “locked” functional position. That is, the energized electromagnet unit ensures that the control lever is acted upon or pivoted against the force of the spring assigned to it, and as a result of this the locking lever is disengaged. Any loading of the associated actuating lever chain or external actuating lever chain is consequently wasted because the actuating lever chain in question is mechanically interrupted.
- the design is such that the locking In emergency operation, the lever immediately goes into its engaged position "unlocked". Because the failure of the power supply and the omission of the energization of the electromagnet unit means that the electromagnet unit can no longer attract the control lever magnetically.
- the spring associated with the control lever ensures that the control lever assumes its basic position, to which the engaged position of the locking lever corresponds.
- the associated actuating lever chain is unlocked immediately. This is of particular importance, for example, in order to allow rescue personnel arriving at the scene of an accident unimpeded access to the interior of the motor vehicle and thus to the people who may have had an accident here. Because the actuating lever chain is automatically unlocked in such a case, the associated motor vehicle door can be opened without any problems, for example via an outside door handle or an emergency actuating handle.
- the safety lever is designed to extend linearly for the most part.
- the locking lever is generally mounted on the safety lever.
- a rotatable bearing can be provided and implemented at this point.
- the design is usually such that the control lever engages with an associated control pin in an actuating contour on the locking lever.
- the actuating contour is generally L-shaped so that, depending on the position of the control pin inside this actuating contour, the different functional positions of the locking lever in the sense of "engaged” or “disengaged” and a corresponding freewheel can be realized and implemented. This is explained in more detail below with reference to the description of the figures.
- a another second electric motor drive can be realized for the locking lever.
- FIG. 1 shows the motor vehicle lock according to the invention and in particular the motor vehicle door lock in the “unlocked” state and with the locking lever engaged
- FIG. 2 shows the object according to FIG. 1 in the “secured” functional position.
- a motor vehicle lock is shown, which is not limited to a motor vehicle door lock.
- the motor vehicle lock shown is equipped with an actuating lever chain 1 , 2 with a locking lever 1 and a safety lever 2 .
- the safety lever 2 is not limited to an anti-theft safety lever 2.
- the safety lever 2 can also be designed as a child safety lever, which is not shown, however.
- at least one electric motor drive 3 is also implemented, with the aid of which the safety lever 1 can be acted upon according to the exemplary embodiment.
- the electric motor drive 3 acts on the safety lever 2 in such a way that the safety lever 2 is largely linearly displaced in the direction of the arrow indicated in FIG 2 is transferred.
- a control lever 4 is also implemented.
- the locking lever 1 can be engaged or disengaged with the aid of the control lever 4, as will be explained in more detail below.
- the control lever 4 is pivoted about an axis 5 .
- the control lever 4 is a
- the control lever 4 is equipped at its one end with an end control pin 4a.
- the control pin 4a of the control lever 4 engages in an actuating contour 7 in or on the locking lever 1 .
- the actuating contour 7 is L-shaped according to the exemplary embodiment.
- the rotary latch opens with the help of a spring and releases a previously caught locking bolt.
- the associated motor vehicle door can be opened. As mentioned, this includes the “unlocked” functional state of the actuating lever chain 1 , 2 and consequently the engaged position of the locking lever 1 .
- the control lever 4 can now be acted upon both with the aid of the motor-actuated anti-theft lever 2 and by an additionally provided electromagnet unit 8 .
- the electromagnet unit 8 has an electromagnet, with the help of which the metallic or magnetizable control lever 4 is magnetically attracted.
- the control lever 4 can be transferred from its solid state in emergency operation shown in FIG. 1 to the functional state in normal operation shown there in broken lines.
- the control lever 4 performs a counter-clockwise movement about its axis 5.
- a similar pivoting movement of the control lever 4 is caused or can be implemented by the fact that, according to the exemplary embodiment, the anti-theft lever 2 is equipped with a cam 2a moving against a lower lever arm of the three-armed control lever 4.
- control lever 4 can be acted upon both by the motor-actuated anti-theft lever 2 and by the electromagnet unit 8 .
- the electromagnetically actuated safety lever 2 acts on the control lever 4 in a first actuation direction in a “secured” manner. This first actuation direction
- “Secured” corresponds to the electric motor drive 3 moving the security lever or anti-theft security lever 2 to the right, starting from the position in FIG. 1, into the functional position according to FIG.
- the cam 2a of the safety lever 2 moves against the control lever 4 and ensures that the control lever 4 is pivoted counterclockwise about its axis 5 and assumes the position indicated in FIG.
- the pivoting or the actuation of the control lever 4 is obligatory because the energization or non-energization of the electromagnet unit 8 is irrelevant in this context.
- control lever 4 assumes the position shown in solid lines in FIG. This corresponds to the position in emergency operation of the control lever 4, in which this ensures that the locking lever 1 is engaged.
- electromagnet unit 8 is energized in the functional position according to FIG. As a result, the control lever 4 is pivoted counterclockwise about its axis 5 against the force of the spring 6 .
- the locking lever 1 In normal operation and when the electromagnet unit 8 is energized, the locking lever 1 is disengaged. Because in normal operation and in the "unlocked” functional position, the control lever 4 is in its basic position shown in broken lines in FIG. This includes the “locked” functional position. If the power supply to the electromagnet unit 8 fails in this functional position, for example in the event of a crash, the locking lever 1 automatically switches to the engaged position and thus the “unlocked” functional position of the actuating lever chain 1 , 2 . This is because the failure of the power supply to the electromagnet unit 8 means that the electromagnet unit 8 cannot (any longer) attract the control lever 4 magnetically.
- the control lever 4 is transferred with the aid of the spring 6 assigned to it, starting from the dot-dash position clockwise about its axis 5 into the position shown in solid lines.
- the locking lever 1 is engaged and the actuating lever chain 1, 2 as a whole assumes its “unlocked” position. Accordingly, the motor vehicle lock is in the unlocked state, particularly in the event of a crash, so that rescue personnel who arrive have unhindered access to an associated motor vehicle door.
- the safety lever 2 is designed to extend linearly for the most part.
- the locking lever 1 can be mounted on the safety lever 2 in a rotatable manner.
- the electromotive drive 3 may in turn have an electric motor, not shown, which provides for the described predominantly linear adjustment of the safety lever or anti-theft lever 2 via a driven pulley including an actuating cam.
