Abstract
Description
[A]:エポキシ樹脂
[B]:アミン硬化剤
[C]:分子量が250以下である、リン酸エステル化合物。
(1):構成要素[A]100質量部に対して構成要素[C]を1質量部以上、15質量部以下含む。
(2):構成要素[A]は平均エポキシ当量が160g/eq以下である。
本発明に用いられる構成要素[C]は、平均エポキシ当量が160g/eq以下である構成要素[A]に組み合わせて配合すると特に好適である。構成要素[A]の平均エポキシ当量が160g/eq以下である場合、樹脂組成物中に含まれるエポキシ基数が多くなるため、エポキシ基とアミン硬化剤との開環付加反応により生成される水酸基数も多くなる。その結果、硬化物中に生成した水酸基と、構成要素[C]であるリン酸エステル化合物に含まれる極性官能基との間で分子間相互作用が生じやすくなり、得られる樹脂硬化物の強度、弾性率、湿熱時弾性率、および吸湿後の耐熱性に優れたものとなる。
(1)構成要素[A]:エポキシ樹脂
・“スミエポキシ(登録商標)”ELM434(ジアミノジフェニルメタン型エポキシ樹脂、グリシジルアミン型エポキシ樹脂、エポキシ当量:119g/eq、住友化学(株)製)
・“エピクロン(登録商標)”830(ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、グリシジルエーテル型エポキシ樹脂、エポキシ当量:172g/eq、DIC(株)製)。
・セイカキュアS(4,4’-ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、活性水素当量:62g/eq、和歌山精化工業(株)製)。
・リン酸トリメチル(分子量:140、沸点:197℃、東京化成工業(株)製)
・フェニルホスホン酸ジメチル(分子量:186、沸点:247℃、東京化成工業(株)製)
・フェニルホスホン酸ジエチル(分子量:214、沸点:267℃、東京化成工業(株)製)。
・“スミカエクセル(登録商標)”PES5003P(ポリエーテルスルホン、住友化学(株)製)。
・PX-200(芳香族縮合リン酸エステル、分子量:687、大八化学工業(株)製)
・1,2-ヘキサンジオール(分子量:118、東京化成工業(株)製)。
以下の測定方法を使用し、各実施例および比較例のエポキシ樹脂組成物を測定し、評価した。
未硬化の樹脂組成物を真空中で脱泡した後、2mm厚の“テフロン(登録商標)”製スペーサーにより厚み2mmになるように設定したモールド中で、30℃から速度1.5℃/分で昇温して180℃の温度で2時間保持して樹脂を硬化させ、厚さ2mmの板状の樹脂硬化物を得た。この樹脂硬化物から、幅10mm、長さ60mmの試験片を切り出し、インストロン万能試験機(インストロン社製)を用い、スパンを32mm、クロスヘッドスピードを2.5mm/分、サンプル数n=6とし、JIS K7171(1994)に従って3点曲げを実施した時の、弾性率、強度の平均値をそれぞれ樹脂硬化物の弾性率、強度とした。また、樹脂硬化物から、幅10mm、長さ60mmの試験片を切り出し、1気圧下における沸騰水中に20時間浸漬して吸湿させ、次いで、恒温槽を用いて試験片が82℃となる条件で、インストロン万能試験機(インストロン社製)を用い、スパンを32mm、JIS K7171(1994)に従って、上記と同じ条件で3点曲げを実施した時の、弾性率の平均値を湿熱時弾性率とした。
未硬化の樹脂組成物を真空中で脱泡した後、2mm厚の“テフロン(登録商標)”製スペーサーにより厚み2mmになるように設定したモールド中で、30℃から速度1.5℃/分で昇温して180℃の温度で2時間保持して樹脂を硬化させ、厚さ2mmの板状の樹脂硬化物を得た。作製した樹脂硬化板から幅12.7mm、長さ55mmの試験片を切り出し、1気圧下における沸騰水中に48時間浸漬した後、SACMA SRM18R-94に従い、DMA法によりガラス転移温度(吸湿後Tg)を求めた。貯蔵弾性率G’曲線において、ガラス状態での接線と転移状態での接線との交点温度値をガラス転移温度とした。ここでは、昇温速度5℃/分、周波数1Hzで測定した。
(樹脂組成物の作製)
次の手法にて、樹脂組成物を作製した。
表1の配合比に従って上記実施例1と同様の手順でそれぞれの構成要素[A]、構成要素[B]、構成要素[C]および構成要素[D]を配合し、樹脂組成物を得た。
表1の配合比に従って上記実施例1と同様の手順でそれぞれの構成要素[A]、構成要素[B]、構成要素[C]および構成要素[D]を配合し、樹脂組成物を得た。実施例の各種測定結果は表1に示すとおりであり、実施例6~9のように構成要素[A]のグリシジルアミン型エポキシ樹脂とグリシジルエーテル型エポキシ樹脂の配合比を変更した場合においても、強度と弾性率、湿熱時弾性率、吸湿後Tgのバランスに優れた樹脂硬化物が得られた。
表1の配合比に従って上記実施例1と同様の手順でそれぞれの構成要素[A]、構成要素[B]、構成要素[C]を配合し、樹脂組成物を得た。実施例の各種測定結果は表1に示すとおりであり、構成要素[D]を含む場合と比較すると、硬化物の強度や湿熱時破断ひずみがやや劣るものの、十分に優れた樹脂硬化物が得られた。
表1の配合比に従って上記実施例1と同様の手順でそれぞれの構成要素[A]、構成要素[B]および構成要素[D](ならびに構成要素[C]またはその代用物)を配合し、樹脂組成物を得た。
Claims (8)
- 下記構成要素[A]、[B]および[C]を含み、かつ、下記条件(1)および(2)を満たすエポキシ樹脂組成物。
[A]:エポキシ樹脂
[B]:アミン硬化剤
[C]:分子量が250以下である、リン酸エステル化合物。
(1):構成要素[A]100質量部に対して構成要素[C]を1質量部以上、15質量部以下含む。
(2):構成要素[A]は平均エポキシ当量が160g/eq以下である。 - 構成要素[A]100質量%のうち、エポキシ当量が130g/eq以下のエポキシ樹脂を40質量%以上含む、請求項1に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 構成要素[A]100質量%のうち、グリシジルエーテル型エポキシ樹脂を20~80質量%含む、請求項1または2に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 構成要素[B]として、ジアミノジフェニルスルホンを含む、請求項1~3のいずれか記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- さらに、下記構成要素[D]を含む、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
[D]:熱可塑性樹脂 - 構成要素[C]として、フェニルホスホン酸アルキルエステルを含む、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1~6のいずれかに記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物と連続強化繊維とからなるプリプレグ。
- 請求項1~6のいずれかに記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化物と連続強化繊維とからなる繊維強化複合材料。
