Description

樹脂、樹脂の製造方法、硬化性樹脂組成物および硬化物
 本発明は、新規な樹脂、樹脂の製造方法、硬化性樹脂組成物および硬化物に関する。
 ビニル化合物等のビニル基を有する樹脂は、誘電特性や耐熱性、低吸湿性に優れているため、高周波信号を扱う電子機器の材料として用いられている。このようなビニル化合物およびその製造方法については、例えば、特許文献1、特許文献2に開示されているものが知られている。

 そして、近年の技術革新に伴い、誘電特性に優れた新規なビニル基を有する樹脂およびその製造方法が求められる。
 本発明はかかる課題を解決することを目的とするものであって、誘電特性に優れた新規な樹脂、ならびに、樹脂の製造方法、硬化性樹脂組成物および硬化物を提供することを目的とする。
 上記課題のもと、本発明者が検討を行った結果、所定の構造の樹脂とすることにより、上記課題を解決しうることを見出した。
 具体的には、下記手段により、上記課題は解決された。

 以下、本発明を実施するための形態(以下、単に「本実施形態」という)について詳細に説明する。なお、以下の本実施形態は、本発明を説明するための例示であり、本発明は本実施形態のみに限定されない。
 なお、本明細書において「~」とはその前後に記載される数値を下限値および上限値として含む意味で使用される。
 本明細書において、各種物性値および特性値は、特に述べない限り、23℃におけるものとする。
 本明細書における基(原子団)の表記において、置換および無置換を記していない表記は、置換基を有さない基(原子団)と共に置換基を有する基(原子団)をも包含する。例えば、「アルキル基」とは、置換基を有さないアルキル基(無置換アルキル基)のみならず、置換基を有するアルキル基(置換アルキル基)をも包含する。本明細書では、置換および無置換を記していない表記は、無置換の方が好ましい。
 本実施形態の樹脂は、群(1)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂であることを特徴とする。

 このような構成とすることにより、誘電特性に優れた樹脂が得られる。さらに、耐熱性を高く維持することも可能になる。
 群(1)中、Rは、それぞれ独立に、メチレン基、メチレンオキシ基、メチレンオキシメチレン基またはオキシメチレン基を表し、メチレン基、メチレンオキシメチレン基が好ましく、メチレン基がより好ましい。Rは、互いに結合して、架橋構造を形成していてもよい。Rが架橋した構造としては、下記構造が例示される。

 Rは、架橋構造を形成していない方が好ましい。nは1以上の数であり、通常1~10の数である。
 RおよびRは、それぞれ独立に、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~10のアルキル基、炭素数1~10のハロゲン化アルキル基、炭素数1~10のヒドロキシアルキル基、または、炭素数6~12のアリール基を表し、それぞれ独立に、炭素数1~10のアルキル基であることが好ましい。
 RおよびRとしてのハロゲン原子は、フッ素原子または塩素原子が好ましい。
 RおよびRとしての炭素数1~10のアルキル基は、炭素数1~5のアルキル基であることがより好ましく、メチル基、エチル基、i-プロピル基、n-プロピル基、n-ブチル基、またはt-ブチル基であることがより好ましい。
 RおよびRとしての炭素数1~10のハロゲン化アルキル基は、フッ素原子または塩素原子で置換された炭素数1~5のアルキル基であることがより好ましく、フルオロメチル基、クロロメチル基、フルオロエチル基またはクロロエチル基であることがさらに好ましい。
 RおよびRとしての炭素数1~10のヒドロキシアルキル基は、炭素数1~5のヒドロキシアルキル基であることがより好ましく、ヒドロキシメチル基またはヒドロキシエチル基であることがさらに好ましい。
 RおよびRとしての炭素数6~12のアリール基は、フェニル基が好ましい。
 R、RおよびRは、それぞれ独立に、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~10のアルキル基、炭素数1~10のハロゲン化アルキル基、水酸基、炭素数1~10のヒドロキシアルキル基、または、炭素数6~12のアリール基を表し、それぞれ独立に、水素原子、ハロゲン原子(好ましくは、塩素原子またはフッ素原子)、メチル基が好ましく、それぞれ独立に、水素原子であることがより好ましい。
 xは0または1を表し、xが0である構成単位とxが1である構成単位の両方を含んでいてもよく、少なくともxが0である構成単位を含むことが好ましい。また、少なくともxが1である構成単位を含む態様も挙げられる。
 yおよびzは、それぞれ独立に、0~3の数を表す。yおよびzは、それぞれ独立に、1以上が好ましく、また、2以下が好ましい。yおよびzが1以上であることにより、より良好な誘電特性が達成される。
 群(1)において、Rがメチレン基、RおよびRは、それぞれ独立に、t-ブチル基またはメチル基であり、R、RおよびRが水素原子であり、xが1であり、yおよびzは、1または2である態様が好ましい。
 a、bおよびcは、それぞれ独立に、構成単位のモル比率を表す。aは1以上の数であり、bは0以上の数であり、cは1以上の数を表す。b:aのモル比率は、1:11以上であることが好ましく、1:23以上であることがより好ましい。また、c:aのモル比率は、1:0.2~5であることが好ましく、1:0.25~3であることがより好ましい。さらに、b:cのモル比率は、1:18以上であることが好ましく、1:37以上であることがより好ましい。
 a、bおよびcの合計は、本実施形態における全構成単位を100としたときに、モル比率で、90以上であることが好ましく、95以上であることがより好ましく、末端基を除く全構成単位が100であることがさらに好ましい。
 群(1)に記載された構成単位は、群(1-1)に記載された構成単位、群(1-2)に記載された構成単位、および、群(1-3)に記載された構成単位の少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましく、群(1-1)に記載された構成単位を含むことがより好ましい。
 本実施形態の樹脂は、後述するとおり、群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂から好ましく合成することができるが、群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂は、例えば、キシレンとホルムアルデヒドから合成できる安価な樹脂であるキシレン樹脂が代表例として挙げられる。かかるキシレン樹脂を用いて、本実施形態の樹脂を得る場合、群(1-1)に記載された構成単位、群(1-2)に記載された構成単位、および、群(1-3)に記載された構成単位の少なくとも1種を含む樹脂が得られ、特に群(1-1)に記載された構成単位を含む樹脂が優先的に得られる。すなわち、群(1-1)に記載された構成単位、群(1-2)に記載された構成単位、および、群(1-3)に記載された構成単位の少なくとも1種を含む樹脂とすることにより、本実施形態の樹脂を工業的に安価で製造しやすい、即実行性のある樹脂とすることができる。

 本実施形態の樹脂は、群(1)における各構成単位を、1種のみ含んでいてもよいし、2種以上含んでいてもよい。2種以上含む場合、合計量が上記範囲となる。
 本実施形態の樹脂は、群(1)において表される各構成単位以外の構成単位を含んでいてもよい。
 また、本実施形態の樹脂は、群(1)で示される各構成単位がランダム重合していても、ブロック重合していてもよい。
 群(1)において、*は他の構成単位または末端基との結合位置を示す。末端基としては、水素原子、水酸基およびヒドロキシメチル基から選択されることが好ましく、水素原子または水酸基がより好ましく、水素原子がさらに好ましい。
 本実施形態の樹脂は、群(1)において、0.2≦a/(b+c)≦5であることが好ましい。前記下限値以上とすることにより、経時による熱劣化をより効果的に抑制できる傾向にある。また、前記上限値以下とすることにより、ガラス転移温度がより上昇する傾向にある。a/(b+c)は、0.2以上であることがより好ましく、0.23以上であることがさらに好ましく、0.27以上であることが一層好ましく、0.3以上であることがより一層好ましい。また、a/(b+c)は、5以下であることがより好ましく、4以下であることがさらに好ましく、3以下であることが一層好ましく、2.5以下であることがより一層好ましく、2.3以下であることがさらに一層好ましい。a/(b+c)の値は、後述する群(2)におけるa/(b+c)の値から把握することができる。
 本実施形態の樹脂においては、重量平均分子量(Mw)が500以上であることが好ましく、600以上であることがより好ましく、800以上であることがさらに好ましく、1,000以上であることが一層好ましく、2,000以上であることがより一層好ましい。前記下限値以上とすることにより、樹脂の靭性や柔軟性が向上し、成形時の割れ、および、成形品のクラックの発生をより効果的に抑制できる。また、本実施形態の樹脂においては、重量平均分子量(Mw)が7,000以下であることが好ましく、6,000以下であることがより好ましく、5,000以下であることがさらに好ましく、4,000以下であることが一層好ましく、3,500以下であることがより一層好ましい。前記上限値以下とすることにより、樹脂の溶剤溶解性の向上や樹脂の溶融粘度の低下により、樹脂のハンドリング性がより向上する傾向にある。
 本実施形態の樹脂においては、数平均分子量(Mn)が500以上であることが好ましく、600以上であることがより好ましく、700以上であることがさらに好ましく、800以上であることが一層好ましく、900以上であることがより一層好ましい。前記下限値以上とすることにより、樹脂の靭性や柔軟性が向上し、成形時の割れ、および、成形品のクラックの発生をより効果的に抑制できる。また、本実施形態の樹脂においては、数平均分子量(Mn)が4,000以下であることが好ましく、3,500以下であることがより好ましく、3,000以下であることがさらに好ましく、2,000以下であることが一層好ましく、1,500以下であることがより一層好ましい。前記上限値以下とすることにより、樹脂の溶剤溶解性の向上や樹脂の溶融粘度の低下により、樹脂のハンドリング性がより向上する傾向にある。
 重量平均分子量および数平均分子量は、後述する実施例に記載の方法に従って測定される。
 本実施形態の樹脂の製造方法は、群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂と式(3)で表される化合物とを、塩基性化合物の存在下で反応させることを含むことを特徴とする。このような方法で製造することにより、誘電特性に優れた樹脂が得られる。さらに、耐熱性に優れた樹脂が得られる。

 まず、群(2)の詳細について説明する。
 群(2)において、R、R、R、x、y、z、a、bおよびcは、それぞれ、群(1)におけるR、R、R、x、y、z、a、bおよびcと同義であり好ましい範囲も同様である。群(2)における末端基は、群(1)における末端基と同様である。群(2)におけるa/(b+c)の好ましい範囲も、群(1)におけるa/(b+c)の好ましい範囲と同義である。群(2)におけるa/(b+c)は、得られる樹脂の水酸基価から算出される。
 また、群(2)に記載された構成単位が、群(2-1)に記載された構成、群(2-2)に記載された構成単位、および、群(2-3)に記載された構成単位の少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましく、群(2-1)に記載された構成単位を含むことがより好ましい。群(2-1)に記載された構成、群(2-2)に記載された構成単位、および、群(2-3)に記載された構成単位の少なくとも1種を含む樹脂を用いることにより、より安価に群(1)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂を製造することが可能になる。

 群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂においては、重量平均分子量(Mw)が400以上であることが好ましく、600以上であることがより好ましく、700以上であることがさらに好ましく、800以上であることが一層好ましく、850以上であることがより一層好ましく、900以上であることがより一層好ましく、1000以上であってもよい。前記下限値以上とすることにより、樹脂の靭性や柔軟性が向上し、成形時の割れ、および、成形品のクラックの発生をより効果的に抑制できる。また、群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂においては、重量平均分子量(Mw)が5,000以下であることが好ましく、4,000以下であることがより好ましく、3,500以下であることがさらに好ましく、3,000以下であることが一層好ましく、2,500以下であることがより一層好ましい。前記上限値以下とすることにより、樹脂の溶剤溶解性の向上や樹脂の溶融粘度の低下により、樹脂のハンドリング性がより向上する傾向にある。
 群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂においては、数平均分子量(Mn)が400以上であることが好ましく、450以上であることがより好ましく、500以上であることが一層好ましく、600以上であってもよい。前記下限値以上とすることにより、樹脂の靭性や柔軟性が向上し、成形時の割れ、および、成形品のクラックの発生をより効果的に抑制できる。また、群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂においては、数平均分子量(Mn)が2,500以下であることが好ましく、2,000以下であることがより好ましく、1,500以下であることがさらに好ましく、1,000以下であることが一層好ましい。前記上限値以下とすることにより、樹脂の溶剤溶解性の向上や樹脂の溶融粘度の低下により、樹脂のハンドリング性がより向上する傾向にある。
 重量平均分子量および数平均分子量は、後述する実施例に記載の方法に従って測定される。
 群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂は、水酸基当量が200g/eq以上であることが好ましく、250g/eq以上であることがより好ましく、270g/eq以上であることがさらに好ましく、280g/eq以上であることが一層好ましく、290g/eq以上であることがより一層好ましく、さらには、300g/eq以上、320g/eq以上であってもよい。前記下限値以上とすることにより、式(3)で表される化合物と反応する水酸基の量が必要以上に多くならず、熱劣化による誘電正接の変化率を効果的に小さくすることができる。群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂は、また、水酸基当量が400g/eq以下であることが好ましく、395g/eq以下であることがより好ましく、390g/eq以下であることがさらに好ましく、385g/eq以下であることが一層好ましく、380g/eq以下であることがより一層好ましく、さらには、370g/eq以下、360g/eq以下であってもよい。前記上限値以下とすることにより、耐熱性に優れ、誘電特性に優れた樹脂が得られる傾向にある。
 すなわち、ビニルベンジル基等の式(3)で表される化合物由来の構造を導入することにより、得られる樹脂は、Tgが高くなり、また、誘電特性にも優れたものとなるため、好適であるが、経時による熱劣化が生じやすい傾向にある。そこで、経時による熱劣化抑制が求められる用途に用いる場合には、原料の水酸基の量を上記のとおり調整することが望ましい。
 水酸基当量は実施例の記載に従って測定される。
 次に、式(3)の詳細について説明する。

 式(3)において、Lは、ハロゲン原子を表し、フッ素原子、塩素原子が好ましく、塩素原子がより好ましい。
 本実施形態の樹脂の製造方法において、群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂および式(3)で表される化合物は、それぞれ1種のみを用いてもよいし、2種以上を用いてもよい。
 本実施形態の樹脂の製造方法において、反応系に添加する群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂のフェノール性水酸基および式(3)で表される化合物のモル比率は、1:1~1.3であることが好ましく、1:1~1.2であることがより好ましい。
 本実施形態の樹脂の製造方法においては、塩基性化合物の存在下で、上記群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂および式(3)で表される化合物を反応させる。塩基性化合物を用いることにより、上記群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂のフェノール性水酸基と式(3)で表される化合物のハロゲン化メチル基との反応が促進される。
 塩基性化合物は、アルカリ金属アルコキシドおよびアルカリ金属水酸化物の少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましく、アルカリ金属水酸化物を含むことがより好ましい。アルカリ金属としては、リチウム、カリウム、ナトリウムが例示され、ナトリウムが好ましい。また、アルカリ金属アルコキシドを構成するアルコキシドとしては、メトキシド、エトキシドが例示される。
 本実施形態の製造方法においては、群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂のフェノール性水酸基と反応系に添加されるアルカリ金属アルコキシドおよびアルカリ金属水酸化物の総量とのモル比率は1:1~1:6であることが好ましく、1:1.1~1:4であることがより好ましい。
 本実施形態の製造方法では、アルカリ金属水酸化物を使用する場合、相関移動触媒を併用してもよい。相関移動触媒としては、テトラブチルアンモニウムブロマイドが例示される。
 本実施形態の製造方法においては、塩基性化合物(特に、アルカリ金属アルコキシドおよびアルカリ金属水酸化物)は、反応系に1回に投入してもよいし、2回以上に分けて投入してもよく、2回以上に分けて投入することが好ましい。2回以上に分けて投入することにより、反応率がより向上する傾向にある。
 本実施形態の製造方法においては、群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂および式(3)で表される化合物との反応は、40~100℃で行うことが好ましく、50~85℃で行うことがより好ましい。
 本実施形態の製造方法においては、群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂および式(3)で表される化合物を反応させる際に溶媒を用いることが好ましい。
 溶媒は、用いる塩基性化合物の種類に応じて、適宜定めることができる。
 塩基性化合物として、アルカリ金属水酸化物を用いる場合、溶媒は、芳香族炭化水素(好ましくはトルエン)および水が例示される。より具体的には、反応系に芳香族炭化水素とアルカリ金属水酸化物の水溶液を添加して用いることが好ましい。
 塩基性化合物として、アルカリ金属アルコキシドを用いる場合、溶媒は非プロトン性極性溶媒が好ましい。
 本実施形態の製造方法においては、上記群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂および式(3)で表される化合物の反応後に得られる樹脂を分離精製することが好ましい。分離精製は常法に従って行うことができる。
 本実施形態の樹脂の製造方法で製造される樹脂は、上述の本実施形態の樹脂であることが好ましい。従って、本実施形態の樹脂の製造方法で製造される樹脂の重量平均分子量(Mw)および、数平均分子量(Mn)は、それぞれ、上述の本実施形態の樹脂の重量平均分子量(Mw)および数平均分子量(Mn)と同じ範囲が好ましい。
<用途>
 本実施形態の樹脂は、硬化性樹脂組成物として用いることができる。前記硬化性樹脂組成物は、1種または2種以上の本実施形態の樹脂のみからなっていてもよいし、さらに、本実施形態の樹脂以外の熱硬化性化合物を含んでいてもよい。前記熱硬化性化合物は、本実施形態の樹脂以外の化合物であって炭素炭素不飽和結合基を有する化合物およびエポキシ樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましい。
 さらに、前記硬化性樹脂組成物は、1種または2種以上の各種添加剤を含有してもよい。添加剤としては、難燃剤、紫外線吸収剤、酸化防止剤、光重合開始剤、蛍光増白剤、光増感剤、染料、顔料、増粘剤、流動調整剤、滑剤、消泡剤、分散剤、レベリング剤、光沢剤、重合禁止剤等が挙げられる。
 本実施形態の硬化物は、前記硬化性樹脂組成物を硬化したものである。この様な硬化物は、耐熱性に優れ、かつ、誘電特性に優れることから、プリント配線板の絶縁層、半導体パッケージ用材料として好適に用いることができる。
 以下に実施例を挙げて本発明をさらに具体的に説明する。以下の実施例に示す材料、使用量、割合、処理内容、処理手順等は、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない限り、適宜、変更することができる。従って、本発明の範囲は以下に示す具体例に限定されるものではない。
 実施例で用いた測定機器等が廃番等により入手困難な場合、他の同等の性能を有する機器を用いて測定することができる。
<数平均分子量、重量平均分子量の測定>
 樹脂の数平均分子量および重量平均分子量は、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)法により求めた。
 分析カラムには昭和電工(株)製のKF-801、KF-802、KF-803、KF-804を連結して用い、検出には(株)島津製作所製、示差屈折検出器RID-20Aを用いた。溶離液であるテトラヒドロフラン2mLに測定対象である樹脂(キシレン樹脂、ビニル化合物)を80mg溶解し、カラムへの注入量を20μLとし、溶離液流量1mL/min、カラム温度40℃で分析を行った。東ソー(株)製、標準ポリスチレンPStQuick MP-Nにより分子量校正曲線を作成し、ポリスチレン換算分子量を見積もった。
<原料樹脂の水酸基当量の測定>
 原料フェノール類変性キシレン樹脂の水酸基当量はJIS K0070-92-7.1に準拠する形で測定を実施した。
<樹脂(ビニル化合物)の水酸基当量の測定>
 樹脂(ビニル化合物)の水酸基当量は、2,6-ジメチルフェノール(2,6-キシレノール)を標準物質とし、溶媒に乾燥ジクロロメタンを使用してIR分析(液セル法;セル長=1mm)を行い、3,600cm-1の吸収強度より求めた。

H-NMRの分析>
 樹脂(ビニル化合物)は、H-NMR分析により4.70ppm付近のベンジル位のピークおよび5.25ppm,5.75ppm付近のビニル位のピークが反応後に現れたこと、さらにIR分析によりフェノール類で変性されたキシレン樹脂のフェノール性水酸基の3,600cm-1付近のピークが、ビニル化合物では消滅したことで確認した。

 温度計、リービッヒ冷却管、撹拌機、水蒸気導入管を備えた0.5リットルセパラブルフラスコにキシレンホルムアルデヒド樹脂(フドー株式会社製品、「ニカノールG」)300.0g、および、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物(富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製品)0.16g(0.84mmol)を仕込み、撹拌しながら水蒸気流通下で180℃まで昇温した。同温度で2時間撹拌し、キシレンホルムアルデヒド樹脂を脱アセタール化した。生成するホルムアルデヒドは系外へ留去させた。脱アセタール化後、p-tert-ブチルフェノール(DIC株式会社製品)200.0g(1.33mol)を加え、脱水しながら180℃で2時間反応させた。反応後、尿素0.16g(2.66mmol)を加え反応を停止させた。反応停止後、水蒸気流通下で230℃まで昇温し未反応のp-tert-ブチルフェノールを留去し、褐色固体のp-tert-ブチルフェノール変性キシレンホルムアルデヒド樹脂409.6gを得た。得られた樹脂の数平均分子量は962、重量平均分子量は2,112、水酸基当量は346g/eqであった。
<合成例2 2,6-キシレノール変性キシレン樹脂の合成(1)>
 温度計、リービッヒ冷却管、撹拌機、水蒸気導入管を備えた0.5リットルセパラブルフラスコにキシレンホルムアルデヒド樹脂(フドー株式会社製品、「ニカノールG」)300.0g、無水マレイン酸0.84g(8.57mmol)、およびパラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物(富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製品)0.14g(0.74mmol)を仕込み、撹拌しながら水蒸気流通下で180℃まで昇温した。同温度で2時間撹拌し、キシレンホルムアルデヒド樹脂を脱アセタール化した。生成するホルムアルデヒドは系外へ留去させた。脱アセタール化後、2,6-キシレノール(三菱瓦斯化学株式会社製品)150.0g(1.23mol)を加え、脱水しながら200℃まで昇温し、同温度で2時間反応させた。反応後、尿素0.13g(2.16mmol)を加え反応を停止させた。反応停止後、水蒸気流通下で230℃まで昇温し未反応の2,6-キシレノールを留去し、褐色固体の2,6-キシレノール変性キシレンホルムアルデヒド樹脂365.7gを得た。得られた樹脂の数平均分子量は796、重量平均分子量は1,929、水酸基当量は373g/eqであった。
<合成例3 2,6-キシレノール変性キシレン樹脂の合成(2)>
 温度計、リービッヒ冷却管、撹拌機、水蒸気導入管を備えた0.5リットルセパラブルフラスコにキシレンホルムアルデヒド樹脂(フドー株式会社製品、「ニカノールG」)300.0g、無水マレイン酸0.84g(8.57mmol)、およびパラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物(富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製品)0.16g(0.84mmol)を仕込み、撹拌しながら水蒸気流通下で180℃まで昇温した。同温度で2時間撹拌し、キシレンホルムアルデヒド樹脂を脱アセタール化した。生成するホルムアルデヒドは系外へ留去させた。脱アセタール化後、2,6-キシレノール(三菱瓦斯化学株式会社製品)220.6g(1.81mol)を加え、脱水しながら200℃まで昇温した。同温度で2時間反応させた。反応後、尿素0.16g(2.66mmol)を加え反応を停止させた。反応停止後、水蒸気流通下で230℃まで昇温し未反応の2,6-キシレノールを留去し、褐色固体の2,6-キシレノール変性キシレンホルムアルデヒド樹脂405.8gを得た。得られた樹脂の数平均分子量は557、重量平均分子量は900、水酸基当量は289g/eqであった。
<実施例1>
 撹拌装置、温度計および還流管を備えた300mL四ツ口フラスコに窒素雰囲気下で、合成例1で得られたp-tert-ブチルフェノール変性キシレン樹脂30.2g(水酸基モル数換算で87.2mmol)、N,N-ジメチルアセトアミド(富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製)120.6gおよびクロロメチルスチレン(AGCセイミケミカル株式会社製、「CMS-P」)15.2g(96.2mmol)を仕込み、50℃に加熱撹拌した。反応温度を50℃に保ちながらナトリウムメトキシド(東京化成工業株式会社製、28.3質量%メタノール溶液)18.3g(96.0mmol)を滴下し、70分撹拌した。さらにナトリウムメトキシド1.88g(9.85mmol)を滴下し、70℃で1時間撹拌した。次に、リン酸(富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製、濃度:85.6質量%)1.37g(11.9mmol)、N,N-ジメチルアセトアミド2.59gを添加して反応を停止した。反応停止から70分経過後に濾紙No.5A(桐山製作所社製)および桐山漏斗SB-60(桐山製作所社製、直径60mm)を用いて吸引ろ過した。濾液に対してN,N-ジメチルアセトアミド69.4gを加えた後に、得られた混合溶液を純水182.6gに滴下することで固形化し、濾別した固体を純水、次いでメタノールで洗浄した。得られた固体を再度純水、メタノールで洗浄した後、減圧乾燥して目的とするビニル化合物33.8gを得た。得られたビニル化合物の数平均分子量は1,126、重量平均分子量は2,391であった。
 以下の方法に従って、硬化物を作製した。また、得られた硬化物のガラス転移温度および誘電特性を測定し、表1に示した。
<硬化物の作製>
 硬化物は、上記で得られたビニル化合物を縦100mm、横30mmの金型に入れ、真空プレス機で200℃、1時間半保持することで作製した。
使用機器:北川精機株式会社製5段プレス機VH2-1630
<硬化物のガラス転移温度の測定>
 硬化物のガラス転移温度は、得られた硬化物を横5mm、縦40mmにカットしたものについて動的粘弾性測定を行い、得られた動的弾性率のピーク温度とした。単位は、℃で示した。
使用機器:セイコーインスツルメンツ株式会社製DMS6100、EXSTAR6000
昇温速度:5℃/min
周波数:正弦波、10Hz
<硬化物の誘電特性の測定>
 硬化物の誘電率および誘電正接は、得られた硬化物を厚さ1mm、横0.8mm、縦100mmにカットしたものについて空洞共振摂動法により10GHzにおける値を測定した。また、耐熱酸化劣化性を評価するため、カット後の硬化物について大気中200℃で1時間加熱した後に10GHzにおける誘電率および誘電正接を測定した。誘電正接変化率は下記式に従い算出した。
誘電正接変化率(%)=((加熱後の誘電正接/加熱前の誘電正接)-1)×100(%)
使用機器:Agilent社製8722ESNetworkAnalyzer
<実施例2>
 実施例1において、p-tert-ブチルフェノール変性キシレン樹脂30.2gに代えて、合成例2で得られた2,6-キシレノール変性キシレン樹脂30.7g(水酸基モル数換算で82.4mmol)を用いたこと、N,N-ジメチルアセトアミドの仕込み量を120.6gから122.6gに代えたこと、クロロメチルスチレンの仕込み量を15.2gから14.4g(90.8mmol)に代えたこと、ナトリウムメトキシドの仕込み量を18.3gから17.7g(92.9mmol)に代えたこと、追加のナトリウムメトキシドの仕込み量を1.88gから1.64g(8.59mmol)に代えたこと、リン酸の仕込み量を1.37gから1.19g(10.4mmol)に代えたこと、追加したN,N-ジメチルアセトアミドの仕込み量を2.59gから2.23gに代えたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして反応および精製を行い、目的とするビニル化合物37.5gを得た。得られたビニル化合物の数平均分子量は975、重量平均分子量は2,217であり、前述した硬化条件に従って硬化物を作製した。
 実施例1と同様に、硬化物のガラス転移温度および誘電特性を測定し、表1に示した。
<実施例3>
 撹拌装置、温度計および還流管を備えた反応容器に合成例3で得られた2,6-キシレノール変性キシレン樹脂26.7g(水酸基モル数換算で92.4mmol)、トルエン(富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製)185.1gおよび水酸化ナトリウム水溶液(関東化学株式会社製、濃度:48質量%)27.2g(327mmol)を仕込み、70℃に加熱撹拌した。反応温度を70℃に保ちながらテトラブチルアンモニウムブロマイド(ライオン・アクゾ株式会社製、濃度:66質量%)8.63g(17.7mmol)およびクロロメチルスチレン(AGCセイミケミカル株式会社製、「CMS-P」)14.8g(92.8mmol)を加え、170分撹拌した。有機層と水相を分液し、有機層を1.4質量%硫酸水溶液、次いで70℃温水で四回洗浄した。得られた溶液を濃縮した後、2-ブタノン(富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製)155gで希釈し、メタノール中に滴下することで固形化した。濾別した固体を純水、次いでメタノールで洗浄した後、再度純水、メタノールで洗浄し、減圧乾燥して目的とするビニル化合物29.8gを得た。得られたビニル化合物の数平均分子量は1,134、重量平均分子量は3,363であり、前述した硬化条件に従って硬化物を作製した。
 実施例1と同様に、硬化物のガラス転移温度および誘電特性を測定し、表1に示した。

Claims (27)

  1. 群(1)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂。

    (群(1)中、Rは、それぞれ独立に、メチレン基、メチレンオキシ基、メチレンオキシメチレン基またはオキシメチレン基を表す。RおよびRは、それぞれ独立に、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~10のアルキル基、炭素数1~10のハロゲン化アルキル基、炭素数1~10のヒドロキシアルキル基、または、炭素数6~12のアリール基を表す。R、RおよびRは、それぞれ独立に、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~10のアルキル基、炭素数1~10のハロゲン化アルキル基、水酸基、炭素数1~10のヒドロキシアルキル基、または、炭素数6~12のアリール基を表す。xは0または1を表し、yおよびzは、それぞれ独立に、0~3の数を表す。a、bおよびcは、それぞれ独立に、構成単位のモル比率を表し、aは1以上の数であり、bは0以上の数であり、cは1以上の数を表す。Rは、互いに結合して、架橋構造を形成していてもよい。*は他の構成単位または末端基との結合位置を示す。)

  3. 群(1)において、RおよびRが、それぞれ独立に、炭素数1~10のアルキル基である、請求項1または2に記載の樹脂。
  4. 群(1)において、RおよびRが、それぞれ独立に、炭素数1~5のアルキル基である、請求項1または2に記載の樹脂。
  5. 群(1)において、0.2≦a/(b+c)≦5である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂。
  6. 群(1)に記載された構成単位が、群(1-1)に記載された構成単位、群(1-2)に記載された構成単位、および、群(1-3)に記載された構成単位の少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂。

  10. 群(2)に記載された構成単位を有する樹脂と式(3)で表される化合物の反応物である樹脂。

  22. 前記塩基性化合物が、アルカリ金属アルコキシドおよびアルカリ金属水酸化物の少なくとも1種を含む、請求項12~21のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂の製造方法。
  23. 前記製造される樹脂が、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂である、請求項12~22のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂の製造方法。
  24. 請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂を含む、硬化性樹脂組成物。
  25. さらに、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂以外の熱硬化性化合物を含む、請求項24に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  26. 前記熱硬化性化合物が、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂以外の炭素炭素不飽和結合基を有する化合物およびエポキシ樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含む、請求項25に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  27. 請求項24~26のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物の硬化物。
