を含む。
(A)と(B)は第一液と第二液のどちらに含まれていてもよい。第一液が(A)を含み第二液が(B)を含む態様でもよいし、第一液が(B)を含み第二液が(A)を含む態様でもよい。好ましくは第一液が(A)を含み第二液が(B)を含む。
(A)と(B)とは、相互に反応してゲルを形成する。タマリンドガム、グリセリン及び炭素数2~6のジオールによるゲル形成に加え、(A)と(B)によるゲル形成がタマリンドガムのゲル形成を補完し、離水を抑えた良好な皮膜形成を可能にする。(A)と(B)の成分は、通常、加熱溶解してゲル化させるが、常温(例えば20~35℃程度)において混合した場合でも軟らかく弾力のあるゲルを形成するために、上記のような効果が得られる。
ゲル化を補完するという観点から、(A)と(B)に使用する成分の組み合わせとして、ローカストビーンガムとカラギーナンとの組み合わせ、リン酸、塩酸又は乳酸などのカルシウム塩とアルギン酸ナトリウムとの組み合わせ、リン酸、塩酸又は乳酸などのカリウム塩又はナトリウム塩とカラギーナンとの組み合わせ、リン酸、塩酸又は乳酸などのカルシウム塩とジェランガムとの組み合わせなども採用しうるが、良好なゲル形成という観点から、上記特定の(A)及び(B)の組み合わせが適している。
(A)と(B)の質量基準の比[(A):(B)]は、1:3~3:1であることが好ましく、1:2~2:1であることがより好ましく、2:3~3:2であることがさらに好ましい。
第一液又は第二液中の(B)の含有量は、0.05質量%~5.0質量%であることが好ましく、0.1質量%~2.0質量%であることがより好ましく、0.15質量%~1.0質量%であることがさらに好ましい。
また、タマリンドガムは、エアゾール製品に用いた場合にも粘度変化が起こりにくく、安定して使用可能である。これは、タマリンドガムはせん断力がかかっても粘度がほぼ一定のニュートン性を有するためと考えている。
第一液中のタマリンドガムの含有量は、1.0質量%~10.0質量%であることが好ましく、1.5質量%~8.0質量%であることがより好ましく、2.0質量%~5.0質量%であることがさらに好ましく、2.5質量%~4.5質量%であることがさらにより好ましく、3.0質量%~4.0質量%であることが特に好ましい。
ゲル化速度の観点から、炭素数2~6のジオールのグリセリンに対する質量比(炭素数2~6のジオール/グリセリン)は、好ましくは0.15~7.0であり、より好ましくは0.3~5.0であり、さらに好ましくは0.4~4.0であり、さらにより好ましくは0.4~3.0であり、特に好ましくは1.0~2.0である。
第二液中の、グリセリンの含有量は、10.0質量%~70.0質量%であることが好ましく、15.0質量%~60.0質量%であることがより好ましく、25.0質量%~55.0質量%であることがさらに好ましく、25.0質量%~45.0質量%であることが特に好ましい。上記範囲であると、グリセリンとタマリンドガムによる、弾力のある好適なゲルを形成しやすい。
好ましくは、1,3-ブチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、イソペンチルジオール、ペンチレングリコール、1,3-プロパンジオールからなる群から選択される少なくとも一つであり、より好ましくは1,3-ブチレングリコールである。
このような増粘剤を用いることで、粘度や流動性を適切に制御できるため、例えばエアゾール製品として用いた場合の同量吐出性などが良好になる。アクチュエータ(吐出機構)のサイズの観点から、アクチュエータ通路の径などの設計の自由度が低く、吐出量の微調整が難しい二重構造容器のエアゾール製品においても、粘度や流動性を良好に制御しやすい。
増粘剤は、第一液及び第二液の両方に用いてもよいし、どちらか一方でもよい。第一液又は第二液中の前述のタマリンドガム並びに(A)及び(B)以外の増粘剤の含有量は、0.05質量%~2.0質量%であることが好ましく、0.1質量%~1.0質量%であることがより好ましい。
第二液の粘度は、1,000mPa・s~100,000mPa・sであることが好ましく、2,000mPa・s~80,000mPa・sであることがより好ましく、5,000mPa・s~70,000mPa・sであることがさらに好ましく、7,000mPa・s~60,000mPa・sであることがさらに好ましい。上記範囲であると、混合時の液だれを抑制することができる。また、エアゾール製品において吐出性が良好になる。
粘度の測定は、B型粘度計を用いて、25℃、6rpmの条件により行う。
第二液のpHは、通常の化粧品の範囲であれば特に限定されるものではなく酸性からアルカリ性まで広く設定することが可能であるが、パック化粧料であれば弱酸性から弱アルカリ性、すなわち4.0~9.0であることが好ましく、5.0~8.0であることがより好ましい。
pHの調整には、公知のpH調整剤を用いることができる。例えば、水酸化カリウム、クエン酸、クエン酸ナトリウムなどが挙げられる。
本発明の効果を損なわない程度に、第一液及び第二液に他の添加剤を用いてもよい。例えば、公知の界面活性剤、増粘剤、香料などを添加することもできる。また、パック剤として用いる場合の美容成分など、任意の有効成分を添加することもできる。
その他の添加剤は、第一液及び第二液のどちらに添加してもよい。
ゲル形成キットの形態としては、第一液と第二液を別々に充填・保管し適宜取り出せる容器であれば特に限定されるものではなく、例えば、ボトル容器、ポンプ容器、カップ容器、ジャー容器、チューブ容器、パウチ容器、パック容器、袋などが挙げられる。
第一液と第二液との混合割合は、第一液及び第二液における各原料の濃度にもよるため特に制限されないが、第一液及び第二液の混合比(第一液の質量:第二液の質量)は、1.0:5.0~5.0:1.0であることが好ましく、1.0:2.0~2.0:1.0であることがより好ましい。上記範囲であると、第一液及び第二液を混合しやすくなる。
上記混合比で、吐出された第一液及び第二液を、例えば手のひらやトレーに載せて指などで混合して用いることができる。混合した後、任意の箇所に適用しゲル化させることができる。
混合時の、(A)の含有量は、0.02質量%~2.5質量%であることが好ましく、0.05質量%~1.0質量%であることがより好ましく、0.07質量%~0.5質量%であることがさらに好ましい。
混合時の、(B)の含有量は、0.02質量%~2.5質量%であることが好ましく、0.05質量%~1.0質量%であることがより好ましく、0.07質量%~0.5質量%であることがさらに好ましい。
ゲル化エアゾール製品は、第一液が充填された第一容器、及び第二液が充填された第二容器を含む。第一液と第二液を別々に充填し、両者を吐出できる容器形態であればよく、例えば、二重構造容器や二連缶式などの形態を採用することができる。
二重構造容器は、例えば、噴射剤が充填された噴射剤用充填空間と、第一容器と、第二容器とを備える外容器、及び第一容器及び第二容器から第一液及び第二液を吐出させる吐出機構を有し、該噴射剤用充填空間は、該第一容器、該第二容器及び該外容器の間に形成されている。
二重構造容器では、噴射剤が充填された噴射剤用充填空間と、第一液が充填された第一容器と、第二液が充填された第二容器とを備える外容器を有する。噴射剤用充填空間に充填された噴射剤の圧力により、これらの第一容器及び第二容器の各々から、第一液及び第二液を同時に吐出させることができる。
図1は、二重構造容器のエアゾール製品の一例を示す概略図である。
このエアゾール製品10は、エアゾール用バルブ12が設けられている金属製の外容器11を備えている。この外容器11の内部には、第一液を充填するための第一容器を区画する第1の内袋15Aと、第二液を充填するための第二容器を区画する第2の内袋15Bが設けられている。さらに、外容器11、第1の内袋15A及び第2の内袋15Bの各々の間の間隙によって噴射剤を充填するための噴射剤用充填空間16が形成されている。
また、エアゾール用バルブ12には、第1のハウジング13A内及び第2のハウジング13B内の各々において上下方向に摺動可能に配置された、内部にステム通路を有する第1のステム14A及び第2のステム14Bが設けられている。これらの第1のステム14A及び第2のステム14Bの上端には、共通のアクチュエータ(吐出機構)21が設けられている。
共通のアクチュエータ21には、第1のステム14Aのステム通路に連通する第1のアクチュエータ通路22Aと、第2のステム14Bのステム通路に連通する第2のアクチュエータ通路22Bと、が設けられている。それぞれのアクチュエータ通路22A及び22Bは、吐出口に連通しており、第一液及び第二液を吐出可能としている。
アクチュエータ通路22A及び22B、並びに吐出口の内径は、吐出する液の粘度に応じて適宜変更して用いることができる。それぞれの吐出口から吐出された第一液及び第二液を、例えば手のひらやトレーに載せて指などで混合してゲル化させることができる。
また、図1では、内袋を並列的に配列させているが、内袋の配置は公知の様々な態様を採用しうる。第1の内袋と第2の内袋を上下に配列させてもよい。例えば、第1の内袋を上に、第2の内袋を下に配列させ、チューブなどでアクチュエータと第1の内袋及び第2の内袋とを連結させてもよい。第2の内袋とアクチュエータとを連結するチューブは、第1の内袋の外に通してもよいし、第一液と接触しないように第1の内袋の内部に通してもよい。
また、図1では、第一液及び第二液の2種類の内容液を、それぞれ2本のステムから吐出する態様について説明したが、内部に2つの流路を有する1本のステムから2種類の内容液を吐出する態様であってもよい。
例えば、第一液が充填された第一内容器及び第二液が充填された第二内容器、該第一内容器が格納された第一外容器及び該第二内容器が格納された第二外容器、並びに該第一液及び該第二液を吐出させる吐出機構を有し、
該第一内容器と該第一外容器との間及び該第二内容器と該第二外容器との間に形成される空間にそれぞれ噴射剤が充填されている。
エアゾール製品30は、第一外容器31a、第二外容器31b、及びアクチュエータ通路35を備えたアクチュエータ(吐出機構)36、を備える。第一外容器31aには第一内容器32aが格納され、かつ第一内容器32aには第一液が充填されている。第二外容器31bには第二内容器32bが格納され、かつ第二内容器32bには第二液が充填されている。第一外容器31a、及び第二外容器31bは、固定盤37により、固定されている。
エアゾール製品内において、第一外容器31aと第一内容器32aとの間、及び第二外容器31bと第二内容器32bとの間には第一噴射剤用充填空間33aと第二噴射剤用充填空間33bがそれぞれ形成され、該噴射剤用充填空間には、第一液及び第二液を吐出機構35から吐出させるための噴射剤が充填される。
図2では、容器を並列的に配列させているが、容器の配置は公知の様々な態様を採用しうる。例えば、第一外容器と第二外容器を上下に配列させてもよい。第一外容器を上に、第二外容器を下に配列させ、チューブなどでアクチュエータと第一外容器及び第二外容器とを連結させてもよい。
また、図2では、内容器をもつ二連缶式のエアゾールについて説明したが、第一外容器、及び第二外容器の少なくとも一方が、内容液及び噴射剤が同一の空間に充填された内容器をもたない態様であってもよい。
例えば、噴射剤と第一液とが充填された第一容器及び噴射剤と第二液とが充填された第二容器、並びに該第一液及び該第二液を吐出させる吐出機構を有する態様であってもよい。
二連缶式のエアゾール製品も、二重構造容器と同様に、3種類以上の内容液を吐出する態様であってもよい。すなわち、さらに、第三外容器、第三内容器、第三噴射剤充填空間などを設けることで、3種類以上の内容液を吐出させることができる。
第一液及び第二液を充填する容器(内容器)は特段限定されるものではない。公知の樹脂製、金属製及びそれらを組み合わせた容器を用いることができる。
外容器に関しても、噴射剤の圧力に耐えられるものであれば特に制限されず、公知の樹脂製、金属製の容器を用いることができる。
(第一液の調製)
処方は表1に記載の通りに行った。1,3-ブチレングリコール(BG)にタマリンドガム、ローカストビーンガム、メチルパラベンを加えて分散液を調製した。水を撹拌しながら分散液を加え、温浴中で加温して80℃に達した後、更に30分間撹拌して均一な糊液とした。10%クエン酸水溶液と10%クエン酸ナトリウム水溶液を加えて所定のpHに調整した後、冷却して第一液を得た。
(第二液の調製)
処方は表1に記載の通りに行った。一部のBGにキサンタンガム、メチルパラベンを加えて分散液を調製した。水を撹拌しながら、この分散液とカルボキシビニルポリマー(以下、カルボマーと表記)(2%水溶液)を加え、30分間撹拌して均一な糊液とした。グリセリンと残りのBGを加えて撹拌し、均一な状態になったら10%水酸化カリウム水溶液を加えて所定のpHに調整して第二液を得た。
第一容器及び第二容器の2つの独立した容器を内部に備えた二重構造を有するエアゾール容器を準備し、調製した第一液及び第二液をそれぞれ第一容器及び第二容器に充填した。そして、エアゾール容器には、第一容器と第二容器の間に形成される空隙に窒素ガスを充填し、エアゾール製品1を得た。得られた第一液、第二液及びエアゾール製品1について以下の評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
粘度測定用ビーカーに第一液、第二液をそれぞれ入れ、25℃の恒温槽に2時間放置した後、B型粘度計を用いて6rpmの条件で粘度を測定する。
pH測定器の電極を第一液、第二液にそれぞれ2分以上浸した後、pHを読み取る。
第一液(5g)と第二液(5g)を手のひらで1分間混合する。混合後、前腕に塗布し、状態を観察する。評価項目は下記の5つとした。
4点:5分未満
3点:5分以上15分未満
2点:15分以上30分未満
1点:30分以上
4点:全く垂れない
3点:若干の垂れが認められる
2点:混合液の一部が手から垂れ落ちる
1点:混合液のほとんどが手から垂れ落ちる
4点:指で押してもゲルは全く崩れない
3点:指で押してもゲルはほとんど崩れない
2点:指で押すとゲルは崩れる
1点:ゲル化しない
4点:離水が認められない
3点:離水がほとんど認められない
2点:離水が認められる
1点:離水が極めて激しい
4点:パックとしての使用感が非常に良いと感じる
3点:パックとしての使用感が良いと感じる
2点:パックとしての使用感が悪いと感じる
1点:パックとしての使用感が極めて悪いと感じる
A:評価点数の平均値3.5以上
B:評価点数の平均値3.0以上3.5未満
C:評価点数の平均値2.5以上3.0未満
D:評価点数の平均値2.5未満
実施例1において、第一液及び第二液の処方を表1に記載のように変更し、エアゾール製品を得た。評価結果を表1に示す。

Claims (16)
- 第一液が充填された第一容器、第二液が充填された第二容器及び噴射剤を含み、該第一液及び第二液を吐出させる吐出機構を有するゲル化エアゾール製品であって、
該第一液が、下記(A)及び(B)のうちのいずれか一方、並びにタマリンドガムを含み、
該第二液が、下記(A)及び(B)のうちの他方、並びにグリセリン及び炭素数2~6のジオールを含み、
(A)ローカストビーンガム、グルコマンナン、タラガム、及びグアーガムからなる群から選択される少なくとも一つ
(B)キサンタンガム
吐出された該第一液及び該第二液を混合することでゲル化することを特徴とするゲル化エアゾール製品。 - 前記(A)が、ローカストビーンガム、タラガム、及びグアーガムからなる群から選択される少なくとも一つである請求項1に記載のゲル化エアゾール製品。
- 前記(A)が、ローカストビーンガムである請求項1に記載のゲル化エアゾール製品。
- 前記(A)と前記(B)の質量基準の比[(A):(B)]が、1:3~3:1である請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のゲル化エアゾール製品。
- 前記炭素数2~6のジオールが、1,3-ブチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、イソペンチルジオール、ペンチレングリコール、1,3-プロパンジオールからなる群から選択される少なくとも一つである請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のゲル化エアゾール製品。
- 前記炭素数2~6のジオールの前記グリセリンに対する質量比(炭素数2~6のジオール/グリセリン)が、0.15~7.0である請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のゲル化エアゾール製品。
- 前記第一液中のタマリンドガムの含有量が、1.0質量%~10.0質量%である請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のゲル化エアゾール製品。
- 前記噴射剤が充填された噴射剤用充填空間と、前記第一容器と、前記第二容器とを備える外容器、及び前記第一容器及び前記第二容器から前記第一液及び前記第二液を吐出させる吐出機構を有し、
前記噴射剤用充填空間は、前記第一容器、前記第二容器及び前記外容器の間に形成されている請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のゲル化エアゾール製品。 - 前記第一液が充填された第一内容器及び前記第二液が充填された第二内容器、前記第一内容器が格納された第一外容器及び前記第二内容器が格納された第二外容器、並びに前記第一液及び前記第二液を吐出させる吐出機構を有し、
前記第一内容器と前記第一外容器との間及び前記第二内容器と前記第二外容器との間に形成される空間にそれぞれ噴射剤が充填されている請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のゲル化エアゾール製品。 - 少なくとも第一液及び第二液を各々別の容器に充填してなるゲル形成キットであって、
該第一液が、下記(A)及び(B)のうちのいずれか一方、並びにタマリンドガムを含み、
該第二液が、下記(A)及び(B)のうちの他方、並びにグリセリン及び炭素数2~6のジオールを含み、
(A)ローカストビーンガム、グルコマンナン、タラガム、及びグアーガムからなる群から選択される少なくとも一つ
(B)キサンタンガム
該第一液及び該第二液を混合することでゲル化することを特徴とするゲル形成キット。 - 前記(A)が、ローカストビーンガム、タラガム、及びグアーガムからなる群から選択される少なくとも一つである請求項10に記載のゲル形成キット。
- 前記(A)が、ローカストビーンガムである請求項10に記載のゲル形成キット。
- 前記(A)と前記(B)の質量基準の比[(A):(B)]が、1:3~3:1である請求項10~12のいずれか一項に記載のゲル形成キット。
