Abstract
歪みが抑制された薄肉シートを提供する。 本発明のシートは、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックからなる、厚み0.1~5mmのシートであって、当該シートのレタデーション値の最大値と最小値との差は3000nm以下である。本発明のシートは、例えば、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックを押出成形に付してシート状プラスチックを得、得られたシート状プラスチックを真空成形、圧空成形、若しくは真空圧空成形に付することにより製造することができる。
Description
本発明は、低歪性に優れたシート及びその製造方法に関する。本願は、2018年6月5日に日本に出願した、特願2018-108102号の優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
プラスチック製の眼鏡のレンズやヘルメットのシールドは、通常、原料であるプラスチックを射出成形に付すことにより製造されている(例えば、特許文献1)。しかし、プラスチックを高速で狭い流路を通過させる射出成形では、得られる成形体に大きな歪みが残存し易い。そして、薄化されたレンズやシールドを射出成形により製造する場合に、特に大きな歪みが残存することが知られている。レンズやシールドに大きな歪みが存在すると、目の疲れや頭痛等の症状を引き起こし、長時間の装着が困難となることが問題であった。また、大きな歪みが存在するレンズやシールドは、加工を施す際に割れが発生し易かった。そのため、歪みが抑制された、薄化レンズや薄化シールドが求められていた。
従って、本発明の目的は、歪みが抑制された薄肉シートを提供することにある。
本発明の他の目的は、歪みが抑制されたレンズ又はシールドを提供することにある。
本発明の他の目的は、歪みが抑制されたシートを備えた防護具を提供することにある。
本発明の他の目的は、歪みが抑制された、曲面形状を有する薄肉シートの製造方法を提供することにある。

本発明者は上記課題を解決するため鋭意検討した結果、特定のプラスチックを押出成形に付することにより、歪みが抑制された薄肉シートが得られることを見いだした。本発明はこれらの知見に基づいて完成させたものである。
すなわち、本発明は、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックからなる、厚み0.1~5mmのシートであって、当該シートのレタデーション値の最大値と最小値との差が3000nm以下であるシートを提供する。
本発明は、また、曲面形状を有する前記シートを提供する。
本発明は、また、ヘイズ値が5%以下である前記シートを提供する。
本発明は、また、前記プラスチックの23℃における光弾性係数が0.1×10-12~100×10-12cm2/dynである前記シートを提供する。
本発明は、また、前記プラスチックが脂環式ポリアミド樹脂を含むプラスチックである前記シートを提供する。

本発明は、また、前記シートを構成要素として含むレンズを提供する。

本発明は、また、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックを押出成形に付してシート状プラスチックを得、得られたシート状プラスチックを真空成形、圧空成形、若しくは真空圧空成形に付することにより、前記シートであって、曲面形状を有するシートを得る、シートの製造方法を提供する。
尚、本明細書において、シートのレタデーション値(Retardation;Δn・d)は複屈折率(Δn)と厚み(d)の積で定義される。
本発明のシートは薄く且つ低歪みである。また、透明性に優れる。そのため、本発明のシートからなるレンズやシールドは視認性に優れ、これを使用すれば、歪みにより引き起こされる目の疲れや頭痛などの問題を解消することができる。また、軽量である。そのため、快適に長時間の装着が可能である。更に、加工性に優れ、眼鏡やヘルメット等に加工する際に割れが発生するのを抑制し、歩留まりを向上することができる。
特に本発明のシートが特定のポリアミド樹脂を含むプラスチックで形成される場合、とりわけ軽量であり歪みが小さく、且つ直接孔を開けてもひび割れ等が生じにくく、加工性に優れている。また、耐熱性及び耐薬品性にも優れる。
そのため、本発明のシートは、メガネ(例えば、サングラス、ゴーグル等)、ヘルメット(例えば、作業用ヘルメット、バイク用ヘルメット、スポーツ用ヘルメット)、医療用フェイスシールド、フェイスガード等に好適に使用することができる。
特に本発明のシートが特定のポリアミド樹脂を含むプラスチックで形成される場合、とりわけ軽量であり歪みが小さく、且つ直接孔を開けてもひび割れ等が生じにくく、加工性に優れている。また、耐熱性及び耐薬品性にも優れる。
そのため、本発明のシートは、メガネ(例えば、サングラス、ゴーグル等)、ヘルメット(例えば、作業用ヘルメット、バイク用ヘルメット、スポーツ用ヘルメット)、医療用フェイスシールド、フェイスガード等に好適に使用することができる。

本発明のシートは、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックからなる。

本発明のシートの厚みは0.1~5mmであり、上限は好ましくは4mm、特に好ましくは2mmである。また、下限は好ましくは0.5mm、特に好ましくは1mmである。
本発明のシートはレタデーション値のバラツキが小さく、前記シート(サイズ:縦30cm×横30cm)の、レタデーション値の最大値と最小値との差は3000nm以下であり、好ましくは2000mm以下、特に好ましくは800mm以下、最も好ましくは500nm以下、とりわけ好ましくは400nm以下である。そのため、本発明のシートは低歪みであり、本発明のシートを用いて形成されたレンズやシールドは、目の疲れや頭痛などの症状を引き起こすことがなく、快適に長時間装着することが可能である。
また、本発明のシートのなかでも、特に平面状シートのレタデーション値の最大値は、例えば3000nm以下であり、好ましくは2500nm以下、特に好ましくは1800nm以下、最も好ましくは1000nm以下、とりわけ好ましくは500nm以下、とりわけ好ましくは400nm以下である。また、最大値の下限は、例えば100nm、なかでも150nmである。
また、本発明のシートのなかでも、特に平面状シートのレタデーション値の最小値は、例えば100nm未満であり、好ましくは70nm以下、特に好ましくは50nm未満、最も好ましくは45nm以下である。また、最小値の下限は、例えば10nm、なかでも5nmである。
本発明のシートのなかでも、特に曲面形状のシート(例えば、6カーブレンズ)のレタデーション値の最大値は、例えば3000nm以下であり、好ましくは2500nm以下、より好ましくは2000nm以下、特に好ましくは1000nm以下、最も好ましくは600nm以下、とりわけ好ましくは400nm以下である。また、最大値の下限は、例えば100nm、なかでも150nm、特に200nmである。
本発明のシートのなかでも、特に曲面形状のシートのレタデーション値の最小値は、例えば100nm未満であり、好ましくは70nm以下、特に好ましくは50nm未満、最も好ましくは45nm以下である。また、最小値の下限は、例えば10nm、なかでも5nmである。
本発明のシートは曲面形状を有していてもよく、例えば、レンズ形状やシールド形状であってもよい。曲面形状を有する本発明のシートには、例えば4~8カーブレンズが含まれる。前記レンズの中心厚みは、例えば0.5~2.5mm、好ましくは1.0~2.0mm、特に好ましくは1.5~2.0mmである。
本発明のシートは透明性に優れ、ヘイズ値は例えば5%以下、好ましくは2%以下、特に好ましくは1%以下、最も好ましくは0.9%以下である。そのため、レンズやシールドとして好適に使用することができる。尚、本発明におけるヘイズ値は、JIS K 7136(2000)に準拠した方法で測定する。
本発明のシートを形成するプラスチックの23℃における光弾性係数は、例えば0.1×10-12~100×10-12cm2/dynであることが歪みを特に小さく抑制することができる点で好ましく、より好ましくは0.1×10-12~50×10-12cm2/dyn、更に好ましくは0.1×10-12~10×10-12cm2/dyn、特に好ましくは0.2×10-12~7×10-12cm2/dyn、最も好ましくは1×10-12~5×10-12cm2/dynである。
本発明のシートは、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックを押出成形に付することにより製造することができる。
尚、押出成形とは、押出機内で加熱溶融したプラスチックをダイス口から吐出し、所望の形状に成形する方法である。
加熱溶融温度は、プラスチック材料によって適宜選択することができるが、例えば180~350℃、好ましくは200~330℃、より好ましくは230~320℃である。
本発明のシートのうち、曲面形状を有するシートは、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックを押出成形に付してシート状プラスチック(若しくは、本発明のシートのうち、平面状シート)を得、得られたシート状プラスチックを真空成形、圧空成形、若しくは真空圧空成形に付することにより製造することができる。
成形に付するシート状プラスチックの厚みとしては、所望の成形品の肉厚より厚めであることが好ましく、例えば所望の成形品の肉厚の1倍を超え、2倍以下であることが好ましく、特に好ましくは1.5~2倍である。
尚、真空成形とは、押出成形を経て得られたシート状プラスチックを加熱して軟化させ、所望の曲面形状の凸型または凹型、もしくは両型に、シート状プラスチックを這わせ、金型内を真空吸引することにより金型にシート状プラスチックを密着させて成形する方法である。
圧空成形とは、真空吸引の代わりに圧空によりシートを金型に密着させる以外は真空成形と同様の方法である。
真空圧空成形とは、真空吸引と圧空密着を同時もしくは時間差にて実施することによりシートを金型に密着させる以外は真空成形と同様の方法である。
これらの方法によれば、得られるシートの内部に応力が残存するのを抑制することができ、その結果、歪みの発生を抑制することができる。また、射出成形等に比べて、より薄化されたシートを得ることができる。
前記プラスチックは、後述のポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含む。その他、光学特性、取扱性等を損なわない範囲内において、添加剤として、例えば、調光材料、光吸収剤(紫外線、青色光、赤外線等)、着色剤、熱安定剤、光安定剤、酸化防止剤、可塑剤、難燃剤、帯電防止剤、粘度調整剤等から選択される1種又は2種以上を含んでいても良いが、プラスチック全量(100重量%)における前記樹脂の占める割合(2種以上含有する場合はその総量)は、例えば80重量%以上、好ましくは90重量%以上、特に好ましくは95重量%以上である。尚、樹脂の占める割合の上限は100重量%である。
前記プラスチックとしては、歪みが極めて小さく抑制された薄肉シート(若しくは、レンズ又はシールド)が得られる点で、後述のポリアミド樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましい。
前記プラスチックとしては、歪みが極めて小さく抑制され、且つ透明性に特に優れた薄肉シート(若しくは、レンズ又はシールド)が得られる点で、後述のセルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましい。
前記プラスチックとしては、歪みが極めて小さく抑制され、且つ透明性に特に優れた薄肉シート(若しくは、レンズ又はシールド)が得られる点、及び軽量であり加工性に優れる点で、後述のポリアミド樹脂、及びポリカーボネート樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましく、とりわけポリアミド樹脂を少なくとも含有することが好ましい。

ポリアミド樹脂は多数のモノマーがアミド結合によって結合したポリマーであり、モノマーであるジアミン成分とジカルボン酸成分との重縮合物や、モノマーであるラクタム類の開環重合物が挙げられる。ジアミン成分及びジカルボン酸成分はそれぞれ1種を単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。また、ラクタム類も1種を単独で、又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。

上記2価の炭化水素基には、2価の脂肪族炭化水素基、2価の脂環式炭化水素基、2価の芳香族炭化水素基が含まれる。
2価の脂肪族炭化水素基としては、例えば、メチレン基、メチルメチレン基、ジメチルメチレン基、エチレン基、プロピレン基、トリメチレン基等の炭素数1~20の直鎖又は分岐鎖状のアルキレン基;ビニレン、1-メチルビニレン、プロペニレン、1-ブテニレン、2-ブテニレン、1-ペンテニレン、2-ペンテニレン基等の炭素数2~20の直鎖又は分岐鎖状アルケニレン基;エチニレン、プロピニレン、3-メチル-1-プロピニレン、ブチニレン、1、3-ブタジイニレン、2-ペンチニレン、2-ペンチニレン、2,4-ペンタジイニレン、2-ヘキシニレン、1,3,5-ヘキサトリイニレン、3-ヘプチニレン、4-オクチニレン、4-ノニニレン、5-デシニレン、6-ウンデシニレン、6-ドデシニレン基等の炭素数2~20の直鎖又は分岐鎖状アルキニレン基が挙げることができる。
2価の脂環式炭化水素基は脂環の構造式から2個の水素原子を除いた基であり、前記脂環としては、例えば、シクロプロパン、シクロペンタン、シクロヘキサン、シクロヘプタン、シクロオクタン環等の3~20員のシクロアルカン環;シクロペンテン、シクロへキセン環等の3~20員のシクロアルケン環;パーヒドロナフタレン、ノルボルナン、ノルボルネン、アダマンタン、トリシクロ[5.2.1.02,6]デカン、テトラシクロ[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]ドデカン環等の橋かけ環等が挙げられる。前記脂環は置換基(例えば、炭素数1~5のアルキル基等)を有していてもよい。また、前記脂環は、2個以上が単結合又は連結基(例えば、2価の脂肪族炭化水素基)を介して結合していてもよい。
2価の芳香族炭化水素基は芳香環の構造式から2個の水素原子を除いた基であり、前記芳香環としては、例えば、ベンゼン、ナフタレン、アントラセン、フルオレン環等の炭素数6~20の芳香環が挙げられる。前記芳香環は置換基(例えば、炭素数1~5のアルキル基、炭素数3~6のシクロアルキル基等)を有していてもよい。また、前記芳香環は、2個以上が単結合又は連結基(例えば、2価の脂肪族炭化水素基や2価の脂環式炭化水素基)を介して結合していてもよい。
上記式(a)中のL1が2価の脂肪族炭化水素基である化合物(=脂肪族ジアミン)としては、例えば、ヘキサメチレンジアミン、トリメチルヘキサメチレンジアミン等が挙げられる。
上記式(a)中のL1が2価の脂環式炭化水素基である化合物(=脂環式ジアミン)としては、例えば、ビス(p-アミノシクロヘキシル)メタン、ビス(4-アミノ-3-メチルシクロヘキシル)メタン等が挙げられる。
上記式(a)中のL1が2価の芳香族炭化水素基である化合物(=芳香族ジアミン)としては、例えば、m-キシリレンジアミン等が挙げられる。
L2における2価の炭化水素基としては、L1における2価の炭化水素基と同様の例が挙げられる。
上記式(c)中のL2が2価の脂肪族炭化水素基である化合物(=脂肪族ジカルボン酸)としては、例えば、アジピン酸、ドデカン二酸等が挙げられる。
上記式(c)中のL2が2価の脂環式炭化水素基である化合物(=脂環式ジカルボン酸)としては、例えば、シクロヘキサン-1,4-ジカルボン酸等が挙げられる。
上記式(c)中のL2が2価の芳香族炭化水素基である化合物(=芳香族ジカルボン酸)としては、例えば、イソフタル酸、テレフタル酸等が挙げられる。
前記ラクタム類としては、例えば、α-ラクタム、β-ラクタム、γ-ラクタム、δ-ラクタム、ε-カプロラクタム、ω-ラウロラクタム等の3~13員環を有するラクタムが挙げられる。
本発明においては、なかでも、透明性、耐薬品性、耐衝撃性、耐油性、及び寸法安定性に優れる点で脂環式ポリアミド樹脂[=ジアミン成分とジカルボン酸成分との重縮合物であって、ジアミン成分とジカルボン酸成分の少なくとも一方が脂環構造を有する化合物(例えば、脂環式ジアミン、脂環式ジカルボン酸)である重縮合物]が好ましい。
前記脂環式ポリアミド樹脂としては、特に、脂環式ジアミンと脂肪族ジカルボン酸との重縮合物が好ましく、とりわけ、下記式(ad)で表される繰り返し単位を有する重縮合物が好ましい。
(式中、Xは単結合又は2価の炭化水素基を示し、Lは2価の炭化水素基を示す。R1、R2はアルキル基を示し、m、nは0~4の整数を示す)
X、Lにおける2価の炭化水素基としては、L1における2価の炭化水素基と同様の例が挙げられる。X、Lは同一であってもよく、異なっていてもよい。
R1、R2はアルキル基を示し、例えば、メチル、エチル、プロピル、イソプロピル基等の炭素数1~5の直鎖又は分岐鎖状のアルキル基が挙げられる。R1、R2は同一であってもよく、異なっていてもよい。また、m、nが2以上の整数である場合、2個以上のR1やR2は、それぞれ同一であってもよく、異なっていてもよい。本発明においては、なかでも、m、nが共にゼロであることが好ましい。
ポリアミド樹脂の重量平均分子量(ポリスチレン換算)は、例えば6000~300000、好ましくは20000~200000である。
また、ポリアミド樹脂は、結晶性及び非結晶性の何れであってもよいが、なかでも、透明性に優れる点で、結晶化度の低いもの、或いは結晶サイズが光の波長より小さい微小結晶性のものや、非晶性ポリアミド(非晶性ナイロン若しくは微結晶性ポリアミド)が好ましい。
ポリアミド樹脂の融解温度は、例えば100~350℃、好ましくは100~320℃程度である。
ポリアミド樹脂は、一般にアッベ数が高く、例えば35以上(例えば、35~65)、好ましくは40以上(例えば、40~65)、より好ましくは45以上(例えば、40~60)であり、特に50以上(例えば、50~60)である。
また、ポリアミド樹脂の屈折率は、例えば1.1~2.0、好ましくは1.2~1.9、より好ましくは1.3~1.8である。
アッベ数が高い素材は屈折率が低くなる傾向にあるが、ポリアミド樹脂は、アッベ数と屈折率とが共に高く、好ましい光学機能をバランスよく有している。
ポリアミド樹脂としては、例えば、ダイセル・エボニック(株)製の「Trogamid CX7323」、エムスケミー・ジャパン(株)製の「グリルアミドTR-90」等の市販品を好適に使用することができる。
ポリアミド樹脂から成るプラスチックは、特に光弾性係数が小さいため、歪みを極めて低く抑えることができる。また、耐熱性、耐薬品性に優れる。その上、適度な硬度を備えると共に加工性に優れ、防護具として加工する際には割れが発生することを抑制でき、歩留まりの向上に資する。更に、軽量であり、ポリアミド樹脂から成るプラスチックを使用した防護具は軽く、長時間に亘って快適に装着することができる。
L3は2価の炭化水素基であり、L1における2価の炭化水素基と同様の例が挙げられる。L3としては、なかでも2価の芳香族炭化水素基が好ましい。
ポリカーボネート樹脂は、例えば、ジヒドロキシ化合物(好ましくは、芳香族ジヒドロキシ化合物、特に好ましくはビスフェノールA)と炭酸ジエステル(例えば、ジフェニルカーボネート等)とをエステル交換反応させる方法等によって製造することができる。
ポリカーボネート樹脂の重量平均分子量(ポリスチレン換算)は、例えば5000~300000、好ましくは20000~200000である。
ポリカーボネート樹脂から成るプラスチックは耐熱性に優れ、硬度が高い。その上、衝撃強度も強いので、防護具として使用する際には割れが発生することを抑制でき、歩留まりの向上に資する。
(セルロースアシレート樹脂)
セルロースアシレート樹脂は、セルロースを構成するβ-1,4結合しているグルコース単位の2位、3位および6位に位置する炭素原子の少なくとも1つにアシル基が結合した重合体(ポリマー)である。本発明においては、なかでも、前記アシル基が炭素数2~4のアシル基であることが好ましく、アセチル基を少なくとも含有することがとりわけ好ましい。従って、2種類以上のアシル基を有する場合は、アセチル基と、プロピオニル基またはブチリル基との組み合わせが好ましい。
セルロースアシレート樹脂は、セルロースを構成するβ-1,4結合しているグルコース単位の2位、3位および6位に位置する炭素原子の少なくとも1つにアシル基が結合した重合体(ポリマー)である。本発明においては、なかでも、前記アシル基が炭素数2~4のアシル基であることが好ましく、アセチル基を少なくとも含有することがとりわけ好ましい。従って、2種類以上のアシル基を有する場合は、アセチル基と、プロピオニル基またはブチリル基との組み合わせが好ましい。
セルロースアシレート樹脂の総アシル置換度は、例えば1.0~2.97であり、なかでも、耐薬品性と加工性に優れる点で2.0~2.9が好ましい。
従って、セルロースアシレート樹脂としては、例えば、セルロースジアセテート、セルローストリアセテート等のセルロースアセテート;セルロースアセテートプロピオネート、セルロースアセテートブチレート等のセルロースアセテートC3-6アシレートが好ましく、とりわけセルローストリアセテートが好ましい。
セルロースアシレート樹脂は、セルロースの2位、3位および6位に位置する炭素原子に結合する水酸基の少なくとも1つをアシル化することにより製造できる。前記セルロース原料には、コットンリンターや木材パルプ(例えば、広葉樹パルプ,針葉樹パルプ)が使用できる。
セルロースアシレート樹脂の重量平均分子量(ポリスチレン換算)は、例えば50000~200000、好ましくは60000~160000である。
セルロースアシレート樹脂から成るプラスチックは光弾性係数が小さいため歪みを極めて低く抑えることができる。また、耐熱性に優れ、硬度が高く、その上、軽量である。そのため、セルロースアシレート樹脂から成るプラスチックを使用した防護具は軽く、長時間に亘って快適に装着することができる。
(アクリル樹脂)
アクリル樹脂は、下記式(e)で表される繰り返し単位を有するポリマーである。アクリル樹脂は下記式(e)で表される繰り返し単位以外にも、下記式(e)で表される繰り返し単位と共重合可能な他の繰り返し単位を有していてもよい。
(式中、R3は水素原子又はメチル基を示し、R4は水素原子又は1価の炭化水素基を示す)
アクリル樹脂は、下記式(e)で表される繰り返し単位を有するポリマーである。アクリル樹脂は下記式(e)で表される繰り返し単位以外にも、下記式(e)で表される繰り返し単位と共重合可能な他の繰り返し単位を有していてもよい。
R4における1価の炭化水素基としては、L1における2価の炭化水素基に対応する1価の基が挙げられる。
アクリル樹脂としては、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの単独又は共重合体、(メタ)アクリル・ウレタン共重合体(特に、(メタ)アクリル・ウレタングラフト共重合体)、スチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体、酢酸ビニル-(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体、エチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体、エチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体、スチレン-アクリロニトリル-(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体、スチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸エステル-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体、スチレン-アクリロニトリル-(メタ)アクリル酸エステル-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体、エチレン-酢酸ビニル-(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体、ビニルピロリドン-(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体、スチレン-ブタジエン-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体等が挙げられる。
アクリル樹脂の重量平均分子量(ポリスチレン換算)は、例えば6000~500000、好ましくは20000~350000である。
アクリル樹脂から成るプラスチックは光弾性係数が小さいため歪みを極めて低く抑えることができる。また、耐熱性に優れ、硬度が高く、軽量である。そのため、アクリル樹脂から成るプラスチックを使用した防護具は軽く、長時間に亘って快適に装着することができる。
[レンズ]
本発明のレンズは上記シートを構成要素として含む。若しくは、本発明のレンズは上記シート(特に、曲面形状を有するシート)から成る。本発明のレンズは上記シートのみから成るものであっても、上記シート以外に他の構成要素を含んでいてもよく、例えば、所望の機能を備えた層(例えば、ハードコート層、反射防止層、防曇層、防汚層、ミラー層等の機能層)の1層又は2層以上が、接着層を介してシート表面に積層されていても良い。
本発明のレンズは上記シートを構成要素として含む。若しくは、本発明のレンズは上記シート(特に、曲面形状を有するシート)から成る。本発明のレンズは上記シートのみから成るものであっても、上記シート以外に他の構成要素を含んでいてもよく、例えば、所望の機能を備えた層(例えば、ハードコート層、反射防止層、防曇層、防汚層、ミラー層等の機能層)の1層又は2層以上が、接着層を介してシート表面に積層されていても良い。
前記接着層を形成する接着剤としては、本発明のシートと機能層とを接着可能であれば特に限定されず、例えばアクリル系、ウレタン系(例えば、エステル系ポリウレタン、エーテル系ポリウレタン)、エポキシ系、酢酸ビニル系等の慣用の接着剤を用いることができる。なかでも、ウレタン系接着剤が接着強度に優れる点で好ましく用いられる。例えば、主剤としてのエステル系ポリウレタン「TM-595」(東洋モートン(株)製)と、硬化剤(商品名「CAT-10L」、「CATーRT85」、以上東洋モートン(株)製)等との組み合わせからなる、ウレタン系のドライラミネート用接着剤が市販されている。
接着剤は、硬化後の厚みが、例えば0.1~80μm、好ましくは1~60μm、特に好ましくは5~40μmとなる範囲で塗布することが好ましい。
接着剤の塗布は、例えば、印刷法、コーティング法等により行うことができる。具体的には、スクリーン印刷法、マスク印刷法、オフセット印刷法、インクジェット印刷法、フレキソ印刷法、グラビア印刷法、スタンピング、ディスペンス、スキージ印刷法、シルクスクリーン印刷法、噴霧、刷毛塗り等が挙げられる。
本発明のレンズは、歪みが極めて低く抑えられた上記シートを備えるため、目の疲れや頭痛などの問題の発生を抑制することができる。また、軽量である。そのため、快適に長時間の装着が可能である。
[シールド]
本発明のシールドは上記シートを構成要素として含む。若しくは、本発明のシールドは上記シート(特に、曲面形状を有するシート)から成る。本発明のシールドは上記シートのみから成るものであっても、上記シート以外に他の構成要素を含んでいてもよく、例えば、所望の機能を備えた層(例えば、ハードコート層、反射防止層、防曇層、防汚層、ミラー層等の機能層)の1層又は2層以上が、接着層を介してシート表面に積層されていても良い。
本発明のシールドは上記シートを構成要素として含む。若しくは、本発明のシールドは上記シート(特に、曲面形状を有するシート)から成る。本発明のシールドは上記シートのみから成るものであっても、上記シート以外に他の構成要素を含んでいてもよく、例えば、所望の機能を備えた層(例えば、ハードコート層、反射防止層、防曇層、防汚層、ミラー層等の機能層)の1層又は2層以上が、接着層を介してシート表面に積層されていても良い。
本発明のシールドは、歪みが極めて低く抑えられた上記シートを備えるため、目の疲れや頭痛などの問題の発生を抑制することができる。また、軽量である。そのため、快適に長時間の装着が可能である。
[防護具]
本発明の防護具は上記レンズ又はシールドを備える。本発明の防護具には、例えば、メガネ(例えば、サングラス、ゴーグル等)やヘルメット(例えば、作業用ヘルメット、バイク用ヘルメット、スポーツ用ヘルメット)、医療用フェイスシールド、フェイスガード等が含まれる。
本発明の防護具は上記レンズ又はシールドを備える。本発明の防護具には、例えば、メガネ(例えば、サングラス、ゴーグル等)やヘルメット(例えば、作業用ヘルメット、バイク用ヘルメット、スポーツ用ヘルメット)、医療用フェイスシールド、フェイスガード等が含まれる。
本発明の防護具は、軽量であり、歪みが極めて低く抑えられた上記レンズ又はシールドを備えるため、目の疲れや頭痛などの問題の発生を抑制することができ、快適に長時間の装着が可能である。
以下、実施例により本発明をより具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施例により限定されるものではない。
実施例1
(押出成形)
ポリアミド樹脂[ダイセル・エボニック(株)製、商品名「トロガミド CX7323」、アッベ数45、ガラス転移温度140℃]を290℃で加熱溶融したものを押出成形に付して、シート状プラスチック(1)(縦×横=30cm×30cm、厚み:2mm)を得た。
(押出成形)
ポリアミド樹脂[ダイセル・エボニック(株)製、商品名「トロガミド CX7323」、アッベ数45、ガラス転移温度140℃]を290℃で加熱溶融したものを押出成形に付して、シート状プラスチック(1)(縦×横=30cm×30cm、厚み:2mm)を得た。
(真空成形)
得られたシート状プラスチック(1)を、トムソン刃を用いて長径80mm×短径50mmの小判形状に打ち抜き、レンズ6カーブ形状に切削加工した金属型(金型温度90℃)を使用して真空成形をすることで、6カーブ眼鏡用レンズ(1)(中心厚み:1.9mm)を得た。
得られたシート状プラスチック(1)を、トムソン刃を用いて長径80mm×短径50mmの小判形状に打ち抜き、レンズ6カーブ形状に切削加工した金属型(金型温度90℃)を使用して真空成形をすることで、6カーブ眼鏡用レンズ(1)(中心厚み:1.9mm)を得た。
実施例2
ポリアミド樹脂に代えてポリカーボネート樹脂(商品名「ユーピロン」、三菱エンジニアリング(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして、シート状プラスチック(2)(厚み:4mm)を得た。
ポリアミド樹脂に代えてポリカーボネート樹脂(商品名「ユーピロン」、三菱エンジニアリング(株)製)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして、シート状プラスチック(2)(厚み:4mm)を得た。
また、シート状プラスチック(1)に代えてシート状プラスチック(2)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして眼鏡用レンズ(2)(厚み:3.9mm)を得た。
実施例3
ポリアミド樹脂に代えてトリアセチルセルロース樹脂(商品名「テナイト」、イーストマン社製)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして、シート状プラスチック(3)(厚み:0.5mm)を得た。
ポリアミド樹脂に代えてトリアセチルセルロース樹脂(商品名「テナイト」、イーストマン社製)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして、シート状プラスチック(3)(厚み:0.5mm)を得た。
また、シート状プラスチック(1)に代えてシート状プラスチック(3)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして眼鏡用レンズ(3)(厚み:0.5mm)を得た。
実施例4
ポリアミド樹脂に代えてアクリル樹脂(商品名「パラペット」、(株)クラレ製)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして、シート状プラスチック(4)(厚み:2mm)を得た。
ポリアミド樹脂に代えてアクリル樹脂(商品名「パラペット」、(株)クラレ製)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして、シート状プラスチック(4)(厚み:2mm)を得た。
また、シート状プラスチック(1)に代えてシート状プラスチック(4)を使用した以外は実施例1と同様にして眼鏡用レンズ(4)(厚み:1.8mm)を得た。
比較例1
押出成形に代えて、射出成形(ファナック(株)製射出成形機を使用、樹脂温度290℃、金型温度90℃)を行った以外は実施例1と同様にして、シート状プラスチック(5)(縦×横=30cm×30cm、厚み:2mm)を得た。
押出成形に代えて、射出成形(ファナック(株)製射出成形機を使用、樹脂温度290℃、金型温度90℃)を行った以外は実施例1と同様にして、シート状プラスチック(5)(縦×横=30cm×30cm、厚み:2mm)を得た。
比較例2
押出成形に代えて、射出成形を行った以外は実施例1と同様にして、眼科用レンズ(6)(縦×横=6cm×8cm、厚み:1.9mm)を得た。

実施例及び比較例で得られたシート状プラスチックのレタデーション値、ヘイズ値、及び光弾性係数を以下の方法で測定した。
レタデーション値:レタデーション測定装置RETS-4200RV(大塚電子(株)製)を使用して測定した。
ヘイズ値:濁度計NDH 7000(日本電色(株)製)を使用して測定した。
光弾性係数:円偏光測定装置 KOBRA-WPR(王子計測機器(株)製)を使用して測定した。
レタデーション値:レタデーション測定装置RETS-4200RV(大塚電子(株)製)を使用して測定した。
ヘイズ値:濁度計NDH 7000(日本電色(株)製)を使用して測定した。
光弾性係数:円偏光測定装置 KOBRA-WPR(王子計測機器(株)製)を使用して測定した。
実施例及び比較例で得られた眼鏡用レンズのレタデーション値、ヘイズ値、及び光弾性係数を上記と同様の方法で測定した。

[17] ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックを押出成形に付してシート状プラスチックを得、得られたシート状プラスチックを真空成形、圧空成形、若しくは真空圧空成形に付することにより、[1]~[13]の何れか1つに記載のシートであって、曲面形状を有するシートを得る、シートの製造方法。
[1] ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックからなる、厚み0.1~5mmのシートであって、当該シートのレタデーション値の最大値と最小値との差が3000nm以下であるシート。
[2] プラスチックが、ポリアミド樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含む、[1]に記載のシート。
[3] プラスチックが、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含む、[1]に記載のシート。
[4] プラスチックが、ポリアミド樹脂、及びポリカーボネート樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含む、[1]に記載のシート。
[5] セルロースアシレート樹脂の総アシル置換度が1.0~2.97(好ましくは、1.0~2.9)である、[1]~[4]の何れか1つに記載のシート。
[6] セルロースアシレート樹脂の総アシル置換度が1.0~2.97(好ましくは、2.0~2.97)である、[1]~[4]の何れか1つに記載のシート。
[7] セルロースアシレート樹脂がセルロースアセテートC3-6アシレートである、[1]~[6]の何れか1つに記載のシート。
[8] 曲面形状を有する、[1]~[7]の何れか1つに記載のシート。
[9] 4~8カーブレンズである、[1]~[7]の何れか1つに記載のシート。
[10] ヘイズ値が5%以下である、[1]~[9]の何れか1つに記載のシート。
[11] 前記プラスチックの23℃における光弾性係数が0.1×10-12~100×10-12cm2/dynである、[1]~[10]の何れか1つに記載のシート。
[12] 前記プラスチックが脂環式ポリアミド樹脂を含むプラスチックである、[1]~[11]の何れか1つに記載のシート。
[13] 前記脂環式ポリアミド樹脂が式(ad)で表される繰り返し単位を有する、[12]に記載のシート。
[14] [1]~[13]の何れか1つに記載のシートを構成要素として含むレンズ。
[15] [1]~[13]の何れか1つに記載のシートを構成要素として含むシールド。
[16] [1]~[13]の何れか1つに記載のシートを構成要素として含むレンズ又はシールドを備えた防護具。
[17] ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックを押出成形に付してシート状プラスチックを得、得られたシート状プラスチックを真空成形、圧空成形、若しくは真空圧空成形に付することにより、[1]~[13]の何れか1つに記載のシートであって、曲面形状を有するシートを得る、シートの製造方法。
本発明のシートは薄く且つ低歪みである。また、透明性に優れる。更に、軽量である。更に、加工性に優れ、眼鏡やヘルメット等に加工する際に割れが発生するのを抑制し、歩留まりを向上することができる。そのため、メガネ、ヘルメットのシールド、医療用フェイスシールド、フェイスガード等として好適に使用することができる。
Claims (10)
- ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックからなる、厚み0.1~5mmのシートであって、当該シートのレタデーション値の最大値と最小値との差が3000nm以下であるシート。
- 曲面形状を有する、請求項1に記載のシート。
- ヘイズ値が5%以下である、請求項1又は2に記載のシート。
- 前記プラスチックの23℃における光弾性係数が0.1×10-12~100×10-12cm2/dynである、請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載のシート。
- 前記プラスチックが脂環式ポリアミド樹脂を含むプラスチックである、請求項1~4の何れか1項に記載のシート。
- 請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載のシートを構成要素として含むレンズ。
- 請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載のシートを構成要素として含むシールド。
- 請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載のシートを構成要素として含むレンズ又はシールドを備えた防護具。
- ポリアミド樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、及びアクリル樹脂から選択される少なくとも1種を含むプラスチックを押出成形に付してシート状プラスチックを得、得られたシート状プラスチックを真空成形、圧空成形、若しくは真空圧空成形に付することにより、請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載のシートであって、曲面形状を有するシートを得る、シートの製造方法。
