Description
しかしながら、冷却後の金属板の温度分布をより一層均一化できることが望まれる。
金属板のパスラインを挟んで前記金属板の板厚方向における両側にそれぞれ設けられる複数の第1ノズル及び複数の第2ノズルを備え、
前記複数の第1ノズル及び前記複数の第2ノズルは、それぞれ、前記金属板の板幅方向のピッチがXnであり、前記金属板の長手方向のピッチがYnであり、かつ、前記長手方向において隣接する一対の前記第1ノズル又は前記第2ノズルの前記板幅方向におけるずれ量がΔXnである千鳥配列を形成し、
前記板幅方向において前記第1ノズルの中心からシフト量Sだけずれた位置を中心とし、前記板幅方向の半軸がΔXn/4であり、かつ、前記長手方向の半軸がYn/3である楕円によって規定される領域内に前記第2ノズルの中心が位置するように、前記第1ノズルの前記千鳥配列と前記第2ノズルの前記千鳥配列とが互いにずれて配置され、
前記シフト量Sは、S=m×ΔXn/2で表され、mはSがXn/2に最も近くなる奇数である。
図1は、一実施形態に係る金属板の連続熱処理設備の概略構成図である。図1に示すように、連続熱処理設備100は、帯状の金属板2(例えば鋼板)を連続的に熱処理するための炉(不図示)と、金属板2を搬送するためのロール6A,6Bと、上述の炉で加熱された金属板2を冷却するための冷却装置1と、を備えている。なお、図1中の矢印は、金属板2の搬送方向(移動方向)を示す。
このように、金属板2の両面に向けて一対の噴出ユニット10A,10Bから冷却ガス(例えば空気)を吹き付けることにより、金属板2を効果的に冷却することができる。
図2は、一実施形態に係る冷却装置1を金属板2の板厚方向に見た模式図であり、より具体的には、金属板2の板厚方向において、冷却装置1の一対の噴出ユニット10A,10Bの一方である噴出ユニット10Aを他方の噴出ユニット10Bから見た図である。
複数のノズル14A,14Bは、噴出ユニット10Aに設けられる複数の第1ノズルと、噴出ユニット10Bに設けられる複数の第2ノズルと、を含む。すなわち、複数の第1ノズル14Aと、複数の第2ノズル14Bとは、金属板2のパスライン3を挟んで金属板2の板厚方向における両側にそれぞれ設けられている。
複数のノズル14A,14Bの各々とヘッダ部12とは連通しており、ヘッダ部に供給される高圧の冷却ガスが、複数のノズル14Aから金属板2の一方の面に向けて、複数のノズル14Bから金属板2の他方の面に向けてそれぞれ噴出されるようになっている。
このように、長手方向に並ぶ複数のヘッダ部12の各々において板幅方向に沿った列をなす複数のノズル14A,14Bは、以下に説明するように、千鳥配列を形成している。
図3及び図4は、複数のノズル14A,14Bによって形成される千鳥配列の一部を示す模式図である。なお、図4は、図3に示す千鳥配列を部分的に拡大して示す図である。
図3及び図4には、複数のノズル14A,14Bを板厚方向に同一の方向に見た場合の各ノズル14A,14Bの配置が示されており、複数のノズル14Aによって形成される千鳥配列と、複数のノズル14Bによって形成される千鳥配列とが重ねて示されている。なお、図3及び図4において、ノズル14Aは実線の丸で、ノズル14Bは破線の丸で表示されている。
また、図3には、冷却装置1に含まれる全てのノズル14A,14Bが示されているわけではなく、複数のノズル14A,14Bによって形成される千鳥配列の説明に必要な範囲で、これらの複数のノズル14A,14Bの各々のうちの一部が示されている。
また、複数の第2ノズル14Bも、複数の第1ノズル14Aと同様の千鳥配列を形成している。すなわち、複数の第2ノズル14Bは、金属板2の板幅方向のピッチがXnであり、金属板2の長手方向のピッチがYnであり、かつ、長手方向において隣接する一対の第2ノズル14Bの板幅方向におけるずれ量がΔXnである千鳥配列を形成している。
より具体的には、図4に示すように、板幅方向において第1ノズル14Aの中心O1からシフト量Sだけずれた位置を中心O2とし、板幅方向の半軸がΔXn/4であり、かつ、長手方向の半軸がYn/3である楕円E1によって規定される領域内(図4において斜線で示す部分)に第2ノズル14Bの中心が位置するように、第1ノズル14Aの千鳥配列と第2ノズル14Bの千鳥配列とが互いにずれて配置されている。
ここで、上述のシフト量Sは、S=m×ΔXn/2で表され、mはSがXn/2に最も近くなる奇数である。
上述の実施形態によれば、シフト量SがXn/2に近いので、ある長手方向位置でみたときに、板幅方向に沿って配列される第1ノズル14A及び第2ノズル14Bを含む複数のノズルの間隔が均等に近くなるとともに、シフト量SはΔXn/2の奇数倍であるので、長手方向に配列される第1ノズル14Aと第2ノズル14Bの板幅方向位置が重ならなくなる。よって、上述の実施形態によれば、第1ノズル14A及び第2ノズル14B通過後の金属板2の温度分布を効果的に均一化することができる。
なお、ノズルの配列の仕方によっては、ノズル列数が多いほど、板幅方向の温度分布の周期性(不均一性)が顕著に表れる場合がある。上述の実施形態によれば、ノズルの列数が10列以上であっても、第1ノズル14A及び第2ノズル14B通過後の金属板の温度分布を均一化しやすい。
図11に示す例示的な実施形態では、第1ノズル14Aによって形成される千鳥配列と、第2ノズルによって形成される千鳥配列とが、長手方向において距離Lだけずれている。すなわち、第2ノズル14Bの中心O2と、第1ノズル14Aの中心O1との長手方向における距離がLである。
幾つかの実施形態では、第2ノズル14Bの中心O2と、第1ノズル14Aの中心O1との長手方向における距離をL(図11参照)としたとき、0≦L/Yn≦1/3の関係が成り立つ。
以下に示すパターン1~6の千鳥配列を形成する複数の第1ノズル14A及び第2ノズル14Bを含む冷却装置1を鋼帯(金属板)が通過する際の、各ノズル列の位置における鋼帯の板幅方向における温度分布について、下記条件で計算を行った。
計算対象とする鋼帯の板幅方向の長さ:Xn(千鳥配列の板幅方向ピッチXnと同じ長さ;図3に示す解析領域A1参照)
千鳥配列を形成するノズル列の列数:20列(20段)
各パターンの千鳥配列の特徴を示す各種パラメータ(Xn、Yn、ΔXn、S、L)の比:下記表に示すとおり。
なお、パターン1~3、5、6は、本発明の実施例であり、パターン4は、「m」が偶数となる比較例である。
これは、パターン1~3では、シフト量SがXn/2に近く、かつ、シフト量SはΔXn/2の奇数倍であるので、板幅方向に沿って配列される第1ノズル14A及び第2ノズル14Bを含む複数のノズルの間隔が均等に近くなるとともに、長手方向に配列される第1ノズル14Aと第2ノズル14Bの板幅方向位置が重ならないためであると考えられる。
この点、パターン2,5,6の計算結果によれば、これらのパターンのいずれの場合にも、第1ノズル14A及び第2ノズル14B通過後の金属板2の温度分布を比較的均一化することが示されているが、L/Ynがより小さいほうがその効果が大きく、L/Yn=0を満たす(すなわち、第2ノズル14Bの中心O2と、第1ノズル14Aの中心O1との長手方向における位置が一致している)パターン2では、その効果が特に大きいことがわかる。

前記複数の第1ノズルは、前記金属板の板幅方向のピッチがXnであり、前記金属板の長手方向のピッチがYnであり、かつ、前記長手方向において隣接する一対の前記第1ノズルの前記板幅方向におけるずれ量がΔXnである千鳥配列を形成し、
前記複数の第2ノズルは、前記板幅方向のピッチがXnであり、前記長手方向のピッチがYnであり、かつ、前記長手方向において隣接する一対の前記第2ノズルの前記板幅方向におけるずれ量がΔXnである千鳥配列を形成し、
前記板幅方向において前記第1ノズルの中心からシフト量Sだけずれた位置を中心とし、前記板幅方向の半軸がΔXn/4であり、かつ、前記長手方向の半軸がYn/3である楕円によって規定される領域内に前記第2ノズルの中心が位置するように、前記第1ノズルの前記千鳥配列と前記第2ノズルの前記千鳥配列とが互いにずれて配置され、
前記シフト量Sは、S=m×ΔXn/2で表され、mはSがXn/2に最も近くなる奇数である。
上記(1)の構成によれば、上述のシフト量SがXn/2に近いので、ある長手方向位置でみたときに、板幅方向に沿って配列される第1ノズル及び第2ノズルを含む複数のノズルの間隔が均等に近くなるとともに、シフト量SはΔXn/2の奇数倍であるので、長手方向に配列される第1ノズルと第2ノズルの板幅方向位置が重なりにくくなる。よって、上記(1)の構成によれば、第1ノズル及び第2ノズル通過後の金属板の温度分布を均一化することができる。
前記ずれ量ΔXnと前記板幅方向のピッチXnとの比ΔXn/Xnが1/4以上1/2以下である。
前記比ΔXn/Xnが1/3又は1/4である。
前記第1ノズルの前記千鳥配列は、前記板幅方向に沿って配列された複数の前記第1ノズルによって形成されるノズル列を10列以上含み、
前記第2ノズルの前記千鳥配列は、前記板幅方向に沿って配列された複数の前記第2ノズルによって形成されるノズル列を10列以上含む。
なお、ノズルの配列の仕方によっては、ノズル列数が多いほど、板幅方向の温度分布の周期性(不均一性)が顕著に表れる場合がある。この点、上記(4)の構成によれば、ノズルの列数が10列以上であっても、第1ノズル及び第2ノズル通過後の金属板の温度分布を均一化しやすい。
前記シフト量SはXn/3以上Xn×2/3以下である。
第2ノズル14Bの中心O2と、第1ノズル14Aの中心O1との前記長手方向における距離をLとしたとき、0≦L/Yn≦1/3の関係が成り立つ。
金属板を熱処理するための炉と、
前記炉で熱処理された前記金属板を冷却するように構成された上記(1)乃至(6)何れかに記載の冷却装置と、
を備えることを特徴とする。
例えば、「同一」、「等しい」及び「均質」等の物事が等しい状態であることを表す表現は、厳密に等しい状態を表すのみならず、公差、若しくは、同じ機能が得られる程度の差が存在している状態も表すものとする。
また、本明細書において、四角形状や円筒形状等の形状を表す表現は、幾何学的に厳密な意味での四角形状や円筒形状等の形状を表すのみならず、同じ効果が得られる範囲で、凹凸部や面取り部等を含む形状も表すものとする。
また、本明細書において、一の構成要素を「備える」、「含む」、又は、「有する」という表現は、他の構成要素の存在を除外する排他的な表現ではない。

- 金属板のパスラインを挟んで前記金属板の板厚方向における両側にそれぞれ設けられる複数の第1ノズル及び複数の第2ノズルを備え、
前記複数の第1ノズルは、前記金属板の板幅方向のピッチがXnであり、前記金属板の長手方向のピッチがYnであり、かつ、前記長手方向において隣接する一対の前記第1ノズルの前記板幅方向におけるずれ量がΔXnである千鳥配列を形成し、
前記複数の第2ノズルは、前記板幅方向のピッチがXnであり、前記長手方向のピッチがYnであり、かつ、前記長手方向において隣接する一対の前記第2ノズルの前記板幅方向におけるずれ量がΔXnである千鳥配列を形成し、
前記板幅方向において前記第1ノズルの中心からシフト量Sだけずれた位置を中心とし、前記板幅方向の半軸がΔXn/4であり、かつ、前記長手方向の半軸がYn/3である楕円によって規定される領域内に前記第2ノズルの中心が位置するように、前記第1ノズルの前記千鳥配列と前記第2ノズルの前記千鳥配列とが互いにずれて配置され、
前記シフト量Sは、S=m×ΔXn/2で表され、mはSがXn/2に最も近くなる奇数である
ことを特徴とする金属板の冷却装置。 - 前記ずれ量ΔXnと前記板幅方向のピッチXnとの比ΔXn/Xnが1/4以上1/2以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属板の冷却装置。 - 前記比ΔXn/Xnが1/3又は1/4である
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の金属板の冷却装置。 - 前記第1ノズルの前記千鳥配列は、前記板幅方向に沿って配列された複数の前記第1ノズルによって形成されるノズル列を10列以上含み、
前記第2ノズルの前記千鳥配列は、前記板幅方向に沿って配列された複数の前記第2ノズルによって形成されるノズル列を10列以上含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の金属板の冷却装置。 - 前記シフト量SはXn/3以上Xn×2/3以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の金属板の冷却装置。 - 前記第2ノズルの中心と、前記第1ノズルの中心との前記長手方向における距離をLとしたとき、0≦L/Yn≦1/3の関係が成り立つ
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の金属板の冷却装置。 - 金属板を熱処理するための炉と、
前記炉で熱処理された前記金属板を冷却するように構成された請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載の冷却装置と、
