本公开涉及显示技术领域,具体地,涉及一种显示面板的母板、显示面板和显示装置。
背景技术
在显示面板中,所谓的边框,是指显示面板边缘到显示区域的距离。为了突出手机整体显示屏幕的比例效果,手机显示屏的边框越来越窄。OLED显示面板使用玻璃胶对阵列基板和封装盖板进行封装。为了实现窄边框,有一种方式为在封装完毕后的玻璃胶上将OLED显示母板上的各个OLED显示面板分别切割下来。在玻璃胶上进行切割,信赖性和切割效果必须要满足要求。
公开内容
本公开实施例提供了一种显示面板的母板。所述显示面板的母板包括:叠置的第一基板和第二基板;设置于所述第一基板和第二基板之间的封框胶;以及切割线,所述切割线设置在所述第一基板上并指示切割路径;其中,所述封框胶在所述第一基板上的正投影完全地覆盖所述切割线在所述第一基板上的正投影。
可选地,所述封框胶在所述第一基板上的正投影包括角部,所述角部的外边缘具有直角形状。
可选地,所述封框胶在所述第一基板上的正投影包括角部,所述角部的外边缘具有弧形形状。
可选地,所述切割线包括至少两条子切割线,所述至少两条子切割线相交于交点,所述交点在所述第一基板上的正投影被所述角部覆盖。

具体实施方式
下面将结合本公开实施例中的附图,对本公开实施例中的技术方案进行清楚、完整地描述,显然,所描述的实施例仅仅是本公开一部分实施例,而不是全部的实施例。基于本公开中的实施例,本领域普通技术人员在没有做出创造性劳动前提下所获得的所有其他实施例,都属于本公开保护的范围。
在例如OLED显示面板的制作工艺中,在玻璃胶上进行切割时,如图1a和图1b所示,沿切割线4、每个OLED显示面板的拐角处还有未涂布玻璃胶7的区域。因此,在切割OLED显示面板时,两条切割线4会在显示面板的拐角处相交形成交点P,而该交点P通常恰好落在显示面板拐角处未涂布玻璃胶7的区域。在这种情况下,在玻璃胶7上进行切割时,涂布有玻璃胶7的区域和未涂布玻璃胶7的区域切割效果不一致。从未涂布玻璃胶7的区域向涂布有玻璃胶7的区域进行切割过渡,非常容易导致切割异常和切割后显示面板的信赖性异常。
因此,在玻璃胶上切割时如何确保显示面板不会出现切割异常以及使切割后的显示面板不会出现信赖性异常已成为目前亟待解决的技术问题。
本公开的实施例提供一种显示面板的母板。如图2a-2c和图3a、图3b所示,显示面板的母板包括:叠置的第一基板1和第二基板1′;设置于所述第一基板1和第二基板1′之间的封框胶2;以及切割线4,所述切割线4设置在所述第一基板1上并指示切割路径;其中,所述封框胶2在所述第一基板1上的正投影完全地覆盖所述切割线4在所述第一基板1上的正投影。
图4为根据本公开实施例的显示面板的母板的俯视图。所述显示面板的母板400上包括多个呈阵列排布的显示面板401。在执行了边框切割后,可以得到多个单独的显示面板。在本公开的上下文中,“边框切割”指的是沿着切割线对所述显示面板的母板执行切割工艺。在边框切割中,第一基板、封框胶和第二基板被同时切割。

本领域技术人员能够理解,在本公开的实施例中,所述第一基板1和第二基板1′可以是玻璃基板、树脂基板或者由其他材料构成的基板。
可选的,如图2a所示,所述封框胶2在所述第一基板1上的正投影包括角部8,所述角部8的外边缘具有直角形状。所述切割线4包括至少两条子切割线41和42,所述至少两条子切割线41和42相交于交点P。对显示面板的母板进行切割时,沿着子切割线41和42进行切割。此时,交点P位于封框胶2的拐角处,这使得沿显示面板边框的每条子切割线都能够完全位于封框胶2的分布区域内。因此,显示面板拐角处的切割效果与其他区域的切割效果一致,使得通过边框切割获得的显示面板的信赖性和切割效果均满足要求,确保了所获得的显示面板的品质。
在一些实施例中,封框胶2围成的区域为显示面板的显示区域5。
在一些实施例中,所述切割线4包括至少两条子切割线41和42,所述至少两条子切割线41和42相交于交点P,所述交点P在所述第一基板1上的正投影被所述角部8覆盖。
图2a和图3a所示的结构可以例如是显示面板的母板的左下角部分。因此,在一些实施例中,所述封框胶2在所述第一基板1上的正投影具有基本上矩形的形状,所述封框胶2在所述第一基板1上的正投影包括内部边缘21和外部边缘22(如图2a和图3a所示);所述切割线4在所述第一基板1上的正投影与所述外部边缘22之间的距离为95~100μm。

在一些实施例中,封框胶2的材料包括玻璃胶。在封装用的玻璃胶上进行切割,不仅能够实现显示面板的窄边框,而且能够使经切割后的显示面板的信赖性和切割效果均满足要求。
如图3a和图3b所示,本公开另一实施例提供一种显示面板的母板。如图3a所示,所述封框胶2在所述第一基板1上的正投影包括角部8,所述角部8的外边缘具有弧形形状。
在该实施例中,所述封框胶2在所述第一基板1上的正投影完全地覆盖所述切割线4在所述第一基板1上的正投影。由此,避免了切割线4局部地落在封框胶2涂布区域以外所导致的切割异常(如切割导致玻璃基板1碎裂、切割边缘不平整等)。同时还避免了切割线4从封框胶2涂布区域过渡到未涂布区域所导致的切割后显示面板的信赖性异常,使得通过边框切割获得的显示面板的信赖性和切割效果均满足要求,确保了所获得的显示面板的品质。
本实施例中显示面板的母板的其他结构与前一实施例相同,此处不再赘述。
以上两个实施例所提供的显示面板的母板中,所述封框胶2在所述第一基板1上的正投影完全地覆盖所述切割线4在所述第一基板1上的正投影。由此,避免了切割线4局部地落在封框胶2涂布区域以外所导致的切割异常(如切割导致玻璃基板1碎裂、切割边缘不平整等)。同时还避免了切割线4从封框胶2涂布区域过渡到未涂布区域所导致的切割后显示面板的信赖性异常,使得通过边框切割获得的显示面板的信赖性和切割效果均满足要求,确保了所获得的显示面板的品质。
本公开又一实施例提供一种显示面板,该显示面板由任一以上实施例中的显示面板的母板沿着所述切割线4切割后形成。
在一些实施例中,如图2c和图3b所示,所述显示面板包括切割角部,位于所述第一基板和第二基板之间且对应于所述切割角部的空间(以附图标记9指示)由所述封框胶2完全地充满。
利用以上实施例所述的显示面板,不仅能够实现窄边框,而且确保了该显示面板的信赖性和品质。
本公开所提供的显示面板可以为,液晶面板、液晶电视、OLED面板、OLED电视、显示器、手机、导航仪等任何具有显示功能的产品或部件。
本公开的实施例还提供了一种显示装置。所述显示装置包括以上实施例所述的显示面板。
