Abstract
Description
そこで本願は、リアキャリアを取付けても、車体フレームの剛性をあまり高めずに適度なしなやかさを保つことのできるようにすることを目的とする。
前記リアキャリア(16)は、樹脂製のキャリアブラケット(30)と、金属製のキャリア本体(40)とを備え、
前記キャリアブラケット(30)は、前記リアフレーム(12)へ取付けられ、
前記キャリア本体(40)は、前記キャリアブラケット(30)へ取付けられ、
前記キャリア本体(40)が、前記樹脂製のキャリアブラケット(30)を介して前記リアフレーム(12)へ支持されることを特徴とする。
このため、比較的剛性の高いリアキャリア(16)を車体フレームへ取付けても、樹脂製のキャリアブラケット(30)により、車体フレームの剛性を過度に上げず、車体フレームにおける適度なしなやかさを維持することができる。
シート15の後方にはリアキャリア16が配置されている。また、シート15の後部(リアシート15b;図3参照)の下方左右にはサイドバッグ17、18(図2、図3)が支持されている。サイドバッグ17、18は、開閉自在のふたを有するボックス形状をなし、サイドボックスとも称される。
リアフェンダ20の後端部にはテールランプ21が設けられている。テールランプ21の左右にはリアウインカ29が配置されている。
左右のサイドバッグ17、18は、リアキャリア16を挟んで左右へ振り分け支持されている。
図3及び図4において、リアキャリア16は、シートレール12へ取付けられるキャリアブラケット30と、これに連結されるキャリア本体部40とで構成される。
キャリア本体部40は、キャリアブラケット30より一回り大きく、その後部外側に沿う上方視略U字状の金属製部材である。
左右のシートレール12に対してそれぞれ前後2カ所のボルト22により計4点で固定されている。左右のシートレール12の内側には、収納スペースが設けられている。また、この収納スペースには、駐車時の車両をロックするために使用されるU字ロック80が、キーシリンダを有する受け部81と、上方視略U字状をなすロック本体82Tに分離された状態で収納されている。
キャリア本体部40は、前端部左右がボルト23によりキャリアブラケット30の前後方向中間部へ締結され、キャリア本体部40の後部は、荷受部25の前端部が車体中心CLを挟む左右2点で、ボルト26によりキャリアブラケット30の後部32へ締結されている。
このようにすると、剛性の高いキャリア本体部40をシートレール12へ連結しないので、シートレール12さらには車体フレーム1全体の剛性を必要以上に高めないようにすることができる。
樹脂材料は、ナイロン、ポリプロピレン、ポリカーボネイトなどの適宜材料を用いることが可能であり、繊維強化した材料を用い、キャリア本体部40をシートレール12に対して実用上十分に支持できる程度の剛性を有するように設計される。
クロス部33の端部が接続する位置には、ボルト23を通すボス35が設けられる。この部分は、クロス部33により補強され、キャリア本体部40を連結するために十分な剛性が得られる部分である。
また、クロス部33の前面左右にはリアシート取付ボス33aが形成されている。
さらに、後部32の左右には、リアシート係止部39が形成されている。
側壁部31bの外側面上部には、前後にサイドバッグ係止凹部37が形成され、ここにサイドバッグ17、18を支持するサイドフレームの上部に設けられたフックが係止されるようになっている。サイドバッグ係止凹部37はサイドカバー19の上部に形成された窓穴19a(図5)から露出している。
取付脚42aの先端は、座部36に形成された貫通穴36aへ上から下へ向けて差し込まれることにより側壁部31bの内側へ出て、先端部がボス35へ重なる。
荷受部25は、金属板をプレス成形したものであり、平坦で荷物を載せることのできる平坦部43と、その前部から屈曲して斜め下がり前方へ延出する取付脚部44を有する。
荷受部25は適宜肉抜きされ、取付脚部44は車体中心CLに沿う前後方向に長い肉抜き穴25aを挟んで左右一対で設けられている。各取付脚部44の下端はさらに前方へ略水平に屈曲してキャリアブラケット30の後部32へ重なる取付端部45をなし、ここでボルト26によりキャリアブラケット30の後部32へ締結されている。
前部ステー42における取付脚42aの下端部は、ボス35のナット部35a上に重ねられ、ボルト23で締結される。
図8は、フロントシート15aをほぼ車体中心に沿って切った前後方向断面である。この図に示すように、フロントシート15aの底板50は後端部中央に後方へ突出する係止突部51が一体に形成されており、フロントシート係止部38へ前方側から係止される。
フロントシート係止部38は、略L字断面をなし、前方へ突出する頂部38aと、その後端から屈曲して下方へ延びてクロス部33の上面に連続する上下部38bを備える。
フロントシート15aをクロス部33側へ係止させたとき、先に取付けられているリアシート15bの前端部がフロントシート15aの背面に密接し、フロントシート係止部38及びクロス部33はリアシート15bで覆われる。
シートキャッチ53は公知のものであり、フロントシート15aの側方等に設けられたキーシリンダ(図示省略)をキー操作することにより、アンロックされて、フロントシート15aを取り外し可能になる。
リアシート15bはシート底板55の前部左右に下方へ突出する取付突部54が一体に形成され、左右の取付突部54はクロス部33の前面左右に形成されているリアシート取付ボス33aに重なるようになっており、前方からボルト56でリアシート取付ボス33aへ締結されている。
リアシート係止部39は、キャリアブラケット30の後部32左右に形成され、 図中の丸囲み部に拡大した斜視図で示すように、後部32の上面から上方へ突出する略門型の突部であり、前後方向へ貫通する貫通穴39aが形成され、ここに係止突部57を挿入することにより、係止突部57を係止するようになっている。
したがって、リアシート15bは、クロス部33の左右における2点の締結と、後部における左右計2点の係合によりキャリアブラケット30へ固定される。
図11はリアフェンダ20とリアキャリア16を主体的に示す拡大側面図、図12はその斜め上方から示す斜視図である。但し、この図12においてはキャリアブラケット30を省略してある。図13はフェンダステーの取付構造を示す、図11の13-13線に沿う断面図、図14はフェンダ前部とフェンダ後部との連結部構造を示す、図11の14-14線に沿う断面図である。
フェンダ前部60とフェンダ後部70は、リアキャリア16の下方であって、キャリアブラケット30の後部32近傍位置にて連結されている。
フェンダ前部60の下方には、マフラー28が配置され、マフラー28の後端部はステー28aによりフェンダ前部60の右側部へ支持されている(図11)。
後側本体部70aは、後輪5の頂部上方から後方側へ平面視でリアキャリア16の後端部より若干後方へ出る程度の範囲に設けられ、後端部にライセンスプレート70cが支持されている。
さらに、図12に示すように、フック61より後方となるフェンダ前部60の後端部62は、フェンダ後部70の前端部とボルト73により左右2カ所で連結されている(図14参照)。なお、図12においては、荷受部25の下に隠れるため左側のボルト73が見えず、右側のボルト73のみが見えている。
ボルト76による締結カ所は左右計2カ所である。
これにより、フェンダ後部70はフェンダステー71を介してキャリアブラケット30へ支持される。
まず、図6に示すように、キャリアブラケット30をシートレール12の上に置き、左右の側部31をそれぞれ前後のボス34にてボルト22により、左右のシートレール12へ取付ける。キャリアブラケット30は前後左右の計4カ所にてボルト22で締結される。続いて、キャリア本体部40をキャリアブラケット30の上に置き、前端部左右の前部ステー42における各取付脚42aの先端部を、側壁部31bの上端部に形成されている略水平の座部36に設けられた貫通穴36aへ上から下へ向けて差し込み、側壁部31bの内側へ出してボス35へ重ね、ボルト23で締結する。
また、キャリア本体部40の後部は、荷受部25に設けられた左右の取付脚部44における各取付端部45をキャリアブラケット30の後部32へ重ね、ボルト26で締結することによりキャリアブラケット30の後部32へ取付けられる。
このため、キャリア本体部40をキャリアブラケット30の剛性が高い部分で強固に支持できるとともに、キャリア本体部40を前後で固定するので、 固定状態におけるキャリア本体部40の剛性も高くなる。
例えば、本願発明を適用する鞍乗り型車両は、リアフレームとリアキャリアを有するものであれば、自動3輪車又は自動4輪車など、種々な車両が可能である。
また、上記実施の形態において、シート15はタンデム型であったが、シングルシートであってもよい。さらに、シートを係止する係止部(38、39)を前後に設けているが、これをいずれか一方にすることもできる。
Claims (8)
- 車体前後方向に延びる左右一対のリアフレーム(12)と、このリアフレーム(12)へ取付けられるリアキャリア(16)とを備えた鞍乗り型車両の車体フレーム構造において、
前記リアキャリア(16)は、樹脂製のキャリアブラケット(30)と、金属製のキャリア本体(40)とを備え、
前記キャリアブラケット(30)は、前記リアフレーム(12)へ取付けられ、
前記キャリア本体(40)は、前記キャリアブラケット(30)へ取付けられ、
前記キャリア本体(40)が、前記樹脂製のキャリアブラケット(30)を介して前記リアフレーム(12)へ支持されることを特徴とする鞍乗り型車両の車体フレーム構造。 - 前記キャリアブラケット(30)は、左右の前記リアフレーム(12)に沿って車両前後方向に延びる左右一対の側部(31)と、これらの側部(31)の前後方向中間部間を連結するクロス部(33)を備えるとともに、後部(32)で左右一体となっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載した鞍乗り型車両の車体フレーム構造。
- 前記キャリア本体(40)は、平面視で略U字形の枠部(41)と、この枠部(41)の後部に設けられる板状の荷受部(25)を備え、
前記枠部(41)は、前記リアフレーム(12)の上方に配置されたシート(15)の側方に沿って前後方向へ延びる側部(41a)を備え、この側部(41a)がリアグリップ(24)を兼ねることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載した鞍乗り型車両の車体フレーム構造。 - 前記キャリア本体(40)の前部は、前記キャリアブラケット(30)の側部(31)における前記クロス部(33)が連結する部分へ取付けられ、
前記キャリア本体(40)の後部は、前記荷受部(25)にて前記キャリアブラケット(30)の後部(32)へ取付けられることを特徴とする請求項3に記載した鞍乗り型車両の車体フレーム構造。 - 前記キャリアブラケット(30)は、前記シート(15)の底板(50、55)を係止する係止部(38、39)を備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載した鞍乗り型車両の車体フレーム構造。
- 前記シート(15)はタンデム型であって、フロントシート(15a)とリアシート(15b)を備え、
前記フロントシート(15a)の底板(50)を係止する係止部(38)が前記クロス
部材(33)に設けられ、

前記キャリアブラケット(30)の側部(31)における外側面上部に前記サイドバック(17、18)を係止するための係止凹部(37)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載した鞍乗り型車両の車体フレーム構造。 - 前記キャリアブラケット(30)の側部(31)は外側面をサイドカバー(19)で覆われるとともに、
前記サイドカバー(19)は前記キャリアブラケット(30)の側部(31)に設けられた前記係止凹部(37)を露出させる窓穴(19a)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載した鞍乗り型車両の車体フレーム構造。
