Abstract
Description
本願は、2016年12月15日に出願された日本国特願2016-243704号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
この取付部構造においては、ミラーシールの延出壁がウェザーストリップのシール壁に当接することにより、ドアミラーの取付部の内側に走行風が進入することを防止できる。
(1)本発明の一態様に係るドアミラーの取付部構造は、ドア側パネルと、前記ドア側パネルに取り付けられるミラーベースと、前記ミラーベースと前記ドア側パネルの間に配置されるミラーシールと、を有するドアミラーと、前記ドアの外縁部に取り付けられて、前記ドアと車体のドア開口部の間を密閉するドアウェザーストリップと、を備え、前記ミラーベースの前縁部の内側には、少なくとも一部が前記ミラーシールの外縁部によって形成されて、前記ドア側に開口する凹部が設けられ、前記ドアウェザーストリップは、前記ドア側パネルの前方を横切って前記ドア側パネルよりも車外側に突出し、前記凹部内に挿入される風進入規制壁を有している。
この構成においては、風進入規制壁が凹部の内壁に直接当接しない場合もあるが、風進入規制壁が凹部との間でラビリンス構造を構成するため、走行風がドア側パネルとミラーベースの間やミラーベースの内部に流れ込むのを抑制することができる。
車両1は、車体2の前部側の側面にドア開口部3が形成され、そのドア開口部3に、前端部側を回動支点としてドア4が開閉可能に取り付けられている。
ドア4は、ドア本体5と、ドア本体5の上部に一体に取り付けられて昇降ガラス6の外縁部を保持するドアサッシュ7と、を備えている。ドアサッシュ7の前縁部は、車体形状に沿うように前方に傾斜しており、ドア本体5の前部側の上辺とドアサッシュ7とに挟まれた台形状の領域にはドアミラー10が取り付けられている。
ドア本体5は、図2に示すドアパネル8の車外側に、図1に示すドアスキン9の外周縁部が結合されている。
ドアパネル8とドアスキン9の間に設けられた空間内には、昇降ガラス6のガイド機構等が内蔵されている。
ドアサッシュ7の前部側の下端領域はドアパネル8に結合されている。
ドアパネル8の前部側の上辺とドアサッシュ7に挟まれた領域には、図2に示すように、下端がドアパネル8に結合された金属製のドア上部パネル11(ドア側パネル)が配置されている。ドア上部パネル11は、上辺が斜め前方に下方傾斜する略台形状に形成され、前縁部と上縁部とがドアサッシュ7と一体化されている。ドア上部パネル11は、ドアサッシュ7と一体に形成しても、別体部品として形成してドアサッシュ7に結合するようにしても良い。
ドアミラー10は、ドア上部パネル11の車外側面に取り付けられている。
ドアミラー10は、鏡体12を保持する鏡体保持部13(図6参照)と、鏡体保持部13の外側を覆うミラーハウジング14と、鏡体保持部13とミラーハウジング14を保持しその状態でドア上部パネル11の外側面に取り付けられるミラーベース15と、を備えている。鏡体保持部13とミラーハウジング14は、ミラーベース15に対して図示しない電動式の回動機構を介して保持されている。回動機構は、鏡体保持部13とミラーハウジング14とを使用位置と格納位置のいずれかに切り換えるための機構である。使用位置では鏡体12が車体後方側に向き、格納位置では鏡体12が車室内側に向く。また、鏡体保持部13には鏡体12の姿勢を調整するための図示しない電動式の姿勢調整機構が保持されている。回動機構や姿勢調整機構には電気ケーブル16が接続されており、この電気ケーブル16はミラーベース15の車内側の端面部分から引き出されている。ドア上部パネル11には、電気ケーブル16をドア4内に引き入れるための挿通孔17(図2参照)が形成されている。
アウタベース18のうちのドア上部パネル11の外側面に対峙する基部は、図3に示すように、車内側からの側面視が、上辺が斜め前方に下方傾斜する略台形状に形成されている。アウタベース18の基部の周域には車内方向に向かって突出する周壁18aが形成されている。アウタベース18の基部は、インナベース19の取付部よりも一回り外形が大きく形成されており、その内側にインナベース19の取付部が配置されている。
本実施形態の場合、インナベース19の取付部のうちの前下角部C1、後上角部C3、後下角部C4の各近傍部に締結部であるねじ軸22が突設されている。各ねじ軸22は、ドア上部パネル11方向に突出し、ドア上部パネル11の対応する位置に形成された挿通孔23(図2参照)に挿入されるようになっている。各挿通孔23を突出したねじ軸22には、図示しないナットが締め込まれる。ミラーベース15は、これによってドア上部パネル11に締結固定される。
9図に示すように、インナベース19の取付部のうちの前上角部C2の近傍部には、インナベース19の上端部から下方に向かって延出する保持溝24が形成されている。この保持溝24には抜け規制部であるクリップ21が保持されている。クリップ21は、前下角部C1のねじ軸22の突設位置のほぼ直上位置に保持されている。
なお、ミラーシール30の外側延出部30bと前側延出部30cは、インナベース19の前縁部の側壁29の前方側に配置されており、アウタベース18の前側の周壁18aとインナベース19の側壁29とは、ドアウェザーストリップ35の風進入規制壁39が挿入される受容溝45を構成している。
風進入規制壁39は、凹部31内に挿入される結果、アウタベース18の前側の周壁18aとインナベース19の側壁29によって形成される受容溝45内にも挿入される。
ドアミラー10は、ミラーシール30を含む構成部品を予め組み付けておく。このとき、ミラーシール30からは、抜け規制部であるクリップ21の挿入係合部26と、締結部であるねじ軸22が突出している。
また、ドア本体5とドアサッシュ7の外周域には、この後にドアウェザーストリップ35が取り付けられるが、このときドアウェザーストリップ35に延設された風進入規制壁39は、ドア上部パネル11の前方を横切って、ミラーベース15の前縁部の凹部31(受容溝45)内に挿入される。
また、前側延出部30cの前端の変形容易部(リップ形状部32)は、アウタベース18の周壁18aに当接して比較的大きく撓むが、変形容易部(リップ形状部32)は凹部31内に位置されているため、その撓み部分が外部から見えて外観の低下を招くこともない。

- ドア側パネルと、
前記ドア側パネルに取り付けられるミラーベースと、前記ミラーベースと前記ドア側パネルの間に配置されるミラーシールと、を有するドアミラーと、
ドアの外縁部に取り付けられて、前記ドアと車体のドア開口部の間を密閉するドアウェザーストリップと、を備え、
前記ミラーベースの前縁部の内側には、少なくとも一部が前記ミラーシールの外縁部によって形成されて、前記ドア側に開口する凹部が設けられ、
前記ドアウェザーストリップは、前記ドア側パネルの前方を横切って前記ドア側パネルよりも車外側に突出し、前記凹部内に挿入される風進入規制壁を有している
ドアミラーの取付部構造。 - 前記風進入規制壁の厚みは、前記凹部の前後方向の幅よりも薄く形成されている

前記外側延出部の車外側の端部から前方側に延出して、前端部が前記ミラーベースの前側の周壁に当接する前側延出部と、を有し、
前記凹部は、前記ミラーベースの前記周壁と、前記ミラーシールの前記外側延出部と前記前側延出部と、に囲まれて形成されている
請求項1または2に記載のドアミラーの取付部構造。 - 前記前側延出部は、前端部に前記前側延出部の他の部位よりも変形し易い変形容易部を有し、
前記変形容易部が前記ミラーベースの前記周壁に当接している
請求項3に記載のドアミラーの取付部構造。 - 前記変形容易部は、前方かつ車内側に延出するリップ形状に形成されている
請求項4に記載のドアミラーの取付部構造。 - 前記前側延出部には、車外側に延出して、その延出方向で前記ミラーベースと当接する第2外側延出部が延設されている
