본 발명은 인터락 회로로부터 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 입력받는 입력단, 입력받은 검출신호의 전압을 보정하는 보정회로, 보정한 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제1 비교기, 보정한 검출신호를 반전하고, 반전한 검출신호와 제2 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제2 비교기, 제2 주파수를 갖는 카운팅신호를 생성하는 카운팅신호 생성기, 상기 제1 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제1 결합기, 상기 제2 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제2 결합기, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출하는 제어기를 포함하는 회로 불량 검출기에 관한 것이다.
Description
본 발명은 인터락 회로로부터 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 입력받는 입력단, 입력받은 검출신호의 전압을 보정하는 보정회로, 보정한 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제1 비교기, 보정한 검출신호를 반전하고, 반전한 검출신호와 제2 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제2 비교기, 제2 주파수를 갖는 카운팅신호를 생성하는 카운팅신호 생성기, 상기 제1 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제1 결합기, 상기 제2 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제2 결합기, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출하는 제어기를 포함하는 회로 불량 검출기에 관한 것이다.
전기 자동차는 자동차의 구동 에너지를 화석 연료의 연소가 아닌 전기에너지로부터 얻는 자동차이다. 이러한 전기 자동차는 배기가스가 전혀 없으며, 소음이 매우 적어, 무공해 친환경적인 장점이 뛰어나다. 다만, 전기 자동차는 에너지의 공급원인 배터리가 필수적으로 필요하며, 배터리의 경량/소형화 및 짧은 충전시간으로 인하여 전기자동차의 실용화가 지연된다.
한편, 전기자동차의 인프라 구축을 위해서는 전국적으로 충전 스테이션의 설치가 필수적이다. 충전 스테이션은 종래의 자동차가 사용하는 주유소와 같이, 전기자동차의 에너지원인 배터리에 동력원을 공급해 줄 수 있으며, 최근 전기자동차의 빠른 보급과 함께 많은 충전 스테이션이 함께 설치되고 있다.
이 때, 전기자동차가 충전 스테이션에 연결되어 충전 또는 방전을 진행하는 경우, 충전 또는 방전 과정에서 생성되는 충전 폐루프가 형성될 수 있다. 충전 폐루프를 통하여, 충전 스테이션에서 전력을 전기자동차로 공급하며, 전기자동차에서 충전 스테이션으로 방전할 수도 있다.
그런데, 전기자동차가 충전 스테이션에서 충전 또는 방전을 하는 과정에서, 단락(short), 단선(open), 합선, 배터리 단락, 그라운드(차체) 단락 등 다양한 불량 모드가 발생할 수 있게 된다. 도 1을 참조하면, 종래의 전기자동차의 경우, 불량 모드의 검출에 있어서 단방향 루프 인터럽트(loop interrupts) 검출 방식을 사용한다.
또한, 도 1을 참조하면, 종래의 전기자동차는 내부의 컨트롤 부품(ECU 등) 사이에서 퓨즈(110)를 더 포함하여, 과전류에 의한 불량 모드 발생시 퓨즈 부분을 단선시켜 불량 발생을 검출하도록 한다.
그러나, 이러한 종래의 불량 모드 처리 방법의 경우, 불량 모드 발생시 퓨즈가 단선되므로 매번 퓨즈를 교체하여야 하는 불편함이 있었으며, 퓨즈가 단전될 정도의 과전류가 흐르지 않는 경우의 불량 모드를 감지할 수 없는 문제점이 존재하였다. 또한, HVIL(High-Voltage Inter Lock) 모듈의 자체적인 불량이 발생하더라도, 불량 진단을 할 수 없는 단점이 존재하였다.
본 발명은 상술한 바와 같이 종래의 전기자동차 불량 모드 검출기가 가지고 있는 단점을 해소하기 위하여, 제1 비교기 및 제2 비교기를 이용하여 두 가지의 출력 신호를 통하여 회로 불량을 검출할 수 있어, 다양한 불량 모드를 분별하여 검출할 수 있는 회로 불량 검출기를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명이 이루고자 하는 기술적 과제는 이상에서 언급한 기술적 과제로 제한되지 않으며, 이하에서 설명할 내용으로부터 통상의 기술자에게 자명한 범위 내에서 다양한 기술적 과제가 포함될 수 있다.
상기와 같은 과제를 해결하기 위한 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 회로 불량 검출기는, 인터락 회로로부터 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 입력받는 입력단; 입력받은 검출신호의 전압에 오프셋 전압을 더하여 상기 검출신호의 전압을 보정하는 보정회로; 보정한 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제1 비교기; 보정한 검출신호를 반전하고, 반전한 검출신호와 제2 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제2 비교기; 제2 주파수를 갖는 카운팅신호를 생성하는 카운팅신호 생성기; 상기 제1 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제1 결합기; 상기 제2 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제2 결합기; 및 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출하는 제어기를 포함할 수 있다.본 발명의 일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 제어기는, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 정상 상태임을 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 제어기는, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 오픈(Open) 상태의 회로 불량임을 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 제어기는, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상이고 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 배터리-쇼트(Battery-Short) 상태의 회로 불량임을 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 제어기는, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호이고 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 그라운드-쇼트(GND-Shrot) 상태의 회로 불량임을 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 제어기는, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 또는 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 갖는 제2 주파수가 기 설정된 범위에서 벗어나는 경우, 상기 인터락 회로가 불량임을 검출할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 회로 불량 검출기는, 제1 주파수를 갖는 임의의 검출신호를 생성하여, 상기 입력단에 상기 임의의 검출신호를 입력하는 임의 검출신호 생성기를 더 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 제어기는, 상기 임의의 검출신호에 의하여 생성된 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 또는 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른, 입력단, 보정회로, 제1 비교기, 제2 비교기, 카운팅 신호 생성기, 제1 결합기, 제2 결합기 및 제어기를 포함하는 회로 불량 검출기를 이용한 회로 불량 검출 방법은, (a) 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호가 인터락 회로로부터 상기 입력단으로 입력 되는 단계; (b) 상기 보정회로에 의해, 입력된 검출신호의 전압에 오프셋 전압이 더해져 검출신호의 전압이 보정되는 단계; (c) 상기 제1 비교기에 의해, 보정된 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압의 비교 후 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호가 출력되는 단계; (d) 상기 제2 비교기에 의해, 보정한 검출신호가 반전되고, 반전된 검출신호와 제2 기준 전압의 비교 후 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호가 출력되는 단계; (e) 상기 카운팅 신호 생성기에 의해, 제2 주파수를 갖는 카운팅 신호가 생성되는 단계; (f) 상기 제1 결합기에 의해, 상기 제1 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅 신호가 결합되는 단계; (g) 상기 제2 결합기에 의해, 상기 제2 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅 신호가 결합되는 단계; (h) 상기 제어기에 의해, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로, 회로 불량이 검출되는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 회로 불량 검출 방법은, 상기 (h) 단계에서, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 정상 상태인 것으로 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 회로 불량 검출 방법은, 상기 (h) 단계에서, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 오픈(Open) 상태의 회로 불량인 것으로 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 회로 불량 검출 방법은, 상기 (h) 단계에서, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상이고 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 배터리-쇼트(Battery-Short) 상태의 회로 불량인 것으로 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 회로 불량 검출 방법은, 상기 (h) 단계에서, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호이고 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 그라운드-쇼트(GND-Shrot) 상태의 회로 불량인 것으로 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 회로 불량 검출 방법은, 상기 (h) 단계에서, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 또는 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 갖는 제2 주파수가 기 설정된 범위에서 벗어나는 경우, 상기 인터락 회로가 불량인 것으로 검출할 수 있다.
본 발명의 또 다른 실시예에 따른 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 회로 불량 검출기; 전기자동차 충전 스테이션으로부터 전력을 수신하는 전력 커넥터; 상기 전력 커넥터와 연결된 릴레이 회로; 상기 릴레이 회로와 연결되어 상기 전기자동차의 배터리에 전력을 공급하는 전력공급회로를 포함하고, 상기 회로 불량 검출기는, 인터락 회로로부터 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 입력받는 입력단; 입력받은 검출신호의 전압을 보정하는 보정회로; 보정한 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제1 비교기; 보정한 검출신호를 반전하고, 반전한 검출신호와 제2 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제2 비교기; 제2 주파수를 갖는 카운팅신호를 생성하는 카운팅신호 생성기; 상기 제1 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제1 결합기; 상기 제2 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제2 결합기; 및 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출하는 제어기;를 포함하며, 상기 제어기가 회로 불량을 검출하는 경우, 상기 릴레이 회로의 스위치를 오픈할 수 있다.
본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기 및 그를 포함하는 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 전기자동차의 충전 또는 방전 과정에서 폐루프의 상태를 감지하는 검출신호를 입력받아, 제1 비교기 및 제2 비교기의 출력 신호와 결합된 결합기의 출력 신호를 4가지 상태로 분별하여, 전기자동차의 불량 모드를 검출할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기 및 그를 포함하는 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 정상 상태, 배터리-쇼트 상태, 그라운드-쇼트 상태, 오픈 상태의 4가지 상태의 불량 모드를 분별하여 검출할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기 및 그를 포함하는 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 각각의 고장 모드의 구분이 가능하므로, 고장 진단의 편의성을 제공할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기 및 그를 포함하는 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 회로 불량 검출기가 전기자동차에서 생성되는 검출 신호를 입력받지 않고 자체적으로 임의 검출 신호를 생성하여, HVIL 신호 손실에 대한 고장 모드도 감지할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기 및 그를 포함하는 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 퓨즈를 이용하지 않고 별도의 제어기를 포함하여, 제어기가 회로 불량을 검출할 때 릴레이 회로를 오픈시키므로, 일회용인 퓨즈에 비하여 고장 수리 비용이 절감될 수 있다. 또한, 고장 모드에서 정상 모드로 복귀할 때 관련 부품(퓨즈 등)의 손실이 없이도 별도의 조치 없이 정상 작동이 가능하게 된다.
또한, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기 및 그를 포함하는 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 회로 구성이 간단하여 자체적인 고장을 줄일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기 및 그를 포함하는 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 전기자동차(Vehicle)의 신호 구성에 따른 별도의 설계 변경이 필요하지 않으며, 모듈 독립 형태와 전기자동차 연동 형태로 구성하여 장착 및 사용이 가능하게 된다.

도 2 및 도 3을 참조하면, 전기자동차(210)가 충전 스테이션(220)에 연결되어 충전 또는 방전을 진행하는 경우, 전기자동차(210)가 포함하는 다양한 부품(인버터, 모터, PDU, 절연 보호장치, 충전 배터리)에는 충전 스테이션(220)에서 공급되는 전력 또는 전압이 그대로 인가된다. 특히, 전기자동차가 포함하고 있는 부품은 복잡하고 다양한 회로로 구성될 수 있으므로, 과전압 또는 과전류가 인가되는 경우 전기자동차 전체적인 동작이 중단될 수 있는 위험성이 존재하게 된다.
본 발명의 실시예에 따른 회로 불량 검출기는, 전기 자동차가 포함하는 다양한 전자 부품의 여러 부위에서 인가되는 전압의 상태를 검출하여, 회로 불량 여부를 판단하도록 한다. 더 구체적으로, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기는, 바람직하게는 전기 자동차의 내부에 위치하여, 전기자동차 충전 제어기의 제어를 받아 전기 자동차의 불량 모드를 방지할 수 있으며, 릴레이 회로와 연결되어 폐루프 회로를 오픈시켜 전기 자동차의 부품을 보호하도록 한다.
도 4는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 회로 불량 검출기의 회로도 구성에 관한 것이다.
도 3, 도 4를 참조하면, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기는, 입력단(310), 보정회로(320), 제1 비교기(330), 제2 비교기(340), 카운팅신호 생성기(350), 제1 결합기(360), 제2 결합기(370), 제어기(380)를 포함할 수 있다.
입력단(310)은 인터락 회로로부터 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 입력받을 수 있다. 전기자동차는 충전 스테이션과의 연결 상태에서 차량의 이동, 충전 스테이션의 이상, 차량 내부 회로의 파손 등 다양한 불량 모드가 발생할 수 있는데, 이러한 불량 모드에 의하여 발생하는 전기 자동차의 손실을 방지하기 위하여 인터락 회로를 포함할 수 있다.
이 때, 인터락 회로는 전기 자동차의 여러 부품의 상태를 검지하여 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 생성할 수 있다. 또한, 이러한 검출신호는 PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) 신호로 구성되어, 주기(Duty)를 변환시킴으로써 다양한 상태를 변조하여 나타낼 수 있다. 더 구체적으로, 검출신호는 제1 주파수 88Hz, 주기(Duty) 50%를 가지는 구형파로 구성될 수 있다.
입력단에 입력되는 검출신호는 보정회로 및 비교기, 결합기에 통과시킴으로써 출력하는 신호를 통하여 불량 모드를 판단할 수 있게 된다.
보정회로(320)는 입력받은 검출신호의 전압을 보정할 수 있다. 검출 신호를 그대로 사용하는 경우, 비교기 또는 제어기에서 해당 검출 신호에 대한 오류를 제대로 측정할 수 없기 때문에, 본 발명의 보정회로는 검출신호의 전압을 회로 불량 검출에 용이하도록 보정하여 사용하도록 한다.
더 구체적으로, 본 발명의 보정회로(320)는, 상기 입력받은 검출신호의 전압에 오프셋 전압을 더하여 보정할 수 있다. 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기가 설치되는 전기 자동차가 포함하는 배터리의 경우, 배터리 전압은 9 ~ 16V 사이에서 스윙(swing)하게 되므로, 배터리 전압을 이용하여 검출신호를 보정할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 발명의 보정회로는, 배터리 전압 또는 임의의 설정 전압으로 오프셋하여, 입력받은 검출신호를 기 설정된 구형파로 보정할 수 있게 된다.
더 구체적으로, 본 발명의 보정회로(320)는, 전압 분배에 따라서 일정 값으로 조정된 배터리 전압을 입력받는 연산 증폭기, 상기 연산 증폭기의 출력값 및 입력단으로부터 인가되는 검출신호를 입력받는 연산 증폭기, 그 외 전압값을 조정하기 위한 다수의 저항과 충전, 노이즈 제거 및 회로의 안정화를 위한 커패시터 등을 포함할 수 있다.
비교기(Comparator)는 하나의 전압을 다른 전압과 비교하는 회로이며, 입력 전압을 받아 기준 전압(reference voltage)과 비교하여 입력이 기준 전압을 넘는지 여부를 검출하고 그 결과를 주로 디지털(low, high) 값으로 출력하는 장치이다. 또한, 본 발명의 비교기는 입력 전압과 기준 전압의 크기를 비교하여 둘 중 하나를 출력할 수도 있다.
본 발명의 제1 비교기(330)는 보정한 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 제2 비교기(340)는 보정한 검출신호를 반전하고, 반전한 검출신호와 제2 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력할 수 있다.
더 구체적으로, 본 발명의 제1 비교기(330) 및 제2 비교기(340)는 보정한 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압을 입력받아 비교하는 연산 증폭기와, 전압 분배에 따라서 일정 값으로 조정한 전압을 생성하는 다수의 저항과, 충전, 노이즈 제거 및 회로의 안정화를 위한 커패시터 등을 포함할 수 있다.
이 때, 제1 비교기(330)와 제2 비교기(340)는, 각각 서로 반전된 신호를 입력받아 기준 전압과 비교하도록 한다. 도 4를 참조하면, 제1 비교기에 입력되는 보정한 검출신호는 연산 증폭기의 (+) 입력단에 인가되는데 반하여, 제2 비교기에 입력되는 보정한 검출신호는 연산 증폭기의 (-) 입력단에 인가된다. 따라서, 제1 비교기 및 제2 비교기에서 출력된 신호는 서로 반전된 값을 가지게 되며, 이 출력신호 값을 통하여 서로 다른 상태의 불량 모드를 가지는 회로 불량을 효과적으로 분류할 수 있게 된다.
또한, 본 발명의 제1 비교기가 가지는 제1 기준 전압은 제2 비교기가 가지는 제2 기준 전압보다 더 낮을 수 있다. 본 발명의 경우, 제1 비교기에 인가되는 검출 신호를 반전하여 제2 비교기에 인가하기 때문에, 제1 기준 전압보다 낮은 제2 기준 전압을 이용하여 출력 신호를 생성할 수 있다.
예를 들어, 본 발명의 제1 기준 전압은 배터리 전압의 2/3 크기를 갖도록 연산 증폭기에 연결된 저항을 구성할 수 있으며, 제2 기준 전압은 배터리 전압의 1/3 크기를 갖도록 연산 증폭기에 연결된 저항을 구성할 수 있다.
아울러, 본 발명의 제1 비교기(330)는, 상기 보정한 검출신호가 상기 제1 기준 전압보다 더 높은 경우, 상기 보정한 검출신호를 출력할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 제2 비교기(340)는, 상기 반전한 검출신호가 상기 제2 기준 전압보다 더 낮은 경우, 상기 반전한 검출신호를 출력할 수 있다.
아울러, 본 발명의 비교기(330, 340)는 기준 전압과 비교하였을 때 비교되는 값의 +, - 에 따라서 고전압 신호(high) 또는 저전압 신호(low)를 출력할 수도 있지만, 기준 전압보다 높거나 낮은 경우 해당 입력 신호를 그대로 출력할 수도 있다. 따라서, 본 발명의 제1 비교기 및 제2 비교기는 기준 전압과 비교 후 입력된 보정한 검출신호를 출력할 수 있다.
카운팅신호 생성기(350)는 제2 주파수를 갖는 카운팅신호를 생성할 수 있다. 카운팅신호는 후술하는 결합기에 의하여 검출신호와 결합되어, 제어기가 최종 출력 신호를 통해 회로 불량을 검출하도록 한다. 검출신호만을 이용하여 회로 불량을 검출할 수도 있지만, 이 경우 출력신호는 고전압(high) 또는 저전압(low) 상태값만을 출력하게 되므로, 다양한 상태를 구별하여 판단할 수 없게 된다. 따라서, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기는 카운팅신호 생성기(350)를 더 포함하여, 카운팅신호와 결합된 검출신호를 통하여 회로 불량을 효과적으로 검출할 수 있게 된다.
이 때, 카운팅신호가 생성하는 제2 주파수는 제1 주파수보다 더 높은 주파수일 수 있다. 예를 들어, 본 발명의 제2 주파수는 약 10kHz의 주파수, 제1 주파수는 88Hz를 가질 수 있다.
제1 결합기(360)는 상기 제1 비교기(330)의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합할 수 있으며, 제2 결합기(370)는 상기 제2 비교기(340)의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합할 수 있다. 상술한 바와 같이, 비교기(330, 340)에서 출력된 신호와 카운팅신호를 결합하여, 제1 주파수 및 제2 주파수를 갖는 최종 출력 신호를 생성할 수 있다. 이 때, 결합기(360, 370)는 앤드 게이트(AND Gate)가 포함될 수 있다.
도 5a 및 도 5b를 참조하면, 카운팅신호와 결합된 검출신호의 최종 출력신호를 확인할 수 있다. 도 5a의 가로축(시간)의 scale을 확장하여 살펴보면, 검출신호가 가지는 제1 주파수의 high 기간 동안에도, 카운팅신호의 제2 주파수와 같이 1/0/1/0 상태를 교번하는 것을 확인할 수 있다.
제어기(380)는 상기 제1 결합기(360)의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기(370)의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출할 수 있다. 더 구체적으로, 제1 결합기(360)의 출력신호와 제2 결합기(370)의 출력신호를 각각 검출하고, 해당 출력신호의 상태를 확인하여 회로의 불량 여부를 판단하도록 한다. 이 때, 제1 결합기(360)의 출력신호는 high 상태, 제2 결합기(370)의 출력신호는 low 상태로 검출하여 회로 불량을 검출하도록 한다.
도 5a를 참조하면, 본 발명의 제어기(380)는, 상기 제1 결합기(360)의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기(370)의 출력신호(ex> pulse 카운트, 도 5b)가 기 설정된 값 이상일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 정상 상태임을 검출할 수 있다. 전기 자동차의 충전 폐루프가 정상 상태인 경우, 입력되는 검출 신호는 정상적으로 high, low 상태를 번갈아 나타나도록 하므로, 본 발명의 제어기(380)는 제1 결합기의 출력신호와 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 일정 이상 값(high 값)을 정상적으로 출력함을 확인하고, 인터락 회로가 정상 상태임을 검출할 수 있다.
도 5b를 참조하면, 본 발명의 제어기(380)는 도 5a의 high, low 신호가 교번하는 것을 확인하기 위해, 더 높은 주파수의 신호를 결합하여, 카운팅하는 것을 볼 수 있다.
도 5a의 0~6.3 시간의 결과를 확대하여 도 5b와 같이 고주파수 신호가 결합된 것을 볼 수 있다. 본 발명의 제어기(380)는 상기 제1 결합기(360)의 출력신호(도 5b의 high쪽 pulse)를 카운트하고, 상기 제 2 결합기(370)의 출력신호(도 5b의 low쪽 pulse)를 카운트하여 회로 불량을 검출 할 수 있다. 펄스의 개수를 카운팅하여, 정상적인 주기의 입력신호가 들어오는지 확인할 수 있다.
도 6a 및 도 6b는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 전기자동차의 오픈 상태에 대한 회로도 구성에 관한 것이고, 도 7은 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 전기자동차의 오픈 상태에서 회로 불량 검출기의 출력 신호의 그래프이다.
도 6a, 도 6b, 도 7을 참조하면, 본 발명의 제어기(380)는 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 오픈(Open) 상태의 회로 불량임을 검출할 수 있다.
인터락 회로가 오픈(Open) 상태인 경우, 인터락 회로에서 인가되는 검출신호(400)가 입력단 양단 어느 쪽에 연결되지 않음을 의미하므로, 전체적인 전기자동차의 오픈 상태(410, 420)가 도 6a 또는 도 6b의 회로로 표현될 수 있다. 이는, 전기자동차에 포함되는 다양한 부품 중, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기가 감지하는 부분이 오픈 상태(단선)의 불량 모드가 발생하였다고 할 수 있다.
도 7을 참조하면, 인터락 회로가 오픈 상태인 경우에, 본 발명의 제1 결합기(360)의 출력신호 및 제2 결합기(370)의 출력신호 상태를 확인할 수 있다. 오픈 상태인 경우 인터락 회로에서는 더 이상의 검출 신호 입력(400)이 입력단으로 들어올 수 없으므로, 제1 결합기 및 제2 결합기에서는 모두 저전압 신호(0)를 출력하게 된다. 따라서, 본 발명의 제어기는 모든 출력 신호가 저전압 신호를 출력함을 감지하여, 전기자동차의 부품이 오픈 상태임을 검출할 수 있다.
도 8a 및 도 8b는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 전기자동차의 배터리-쇼트 상태에 대한 회로도 구성에 관한 것이고, 도 9는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 전기자동차의 배터리-쇼트 상태에서 회로 불량 검출기의 출력 신호의 그래프이다.
도 8a, 도 8b, 도 9를 참조하면, 본 발명의 제어기는 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상이고 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 배터리-쇼트(Battery-Short) 상태의 회로 불량임을 검출할 수 있다.
인터락 회로는 전기 자동차 내부에 위치하므로, 배터리(500)의 전력 입력 노드(510)와 인터락 회로(410, 420)가 합선하는 배터리-쇼트 상태가 발생할 수 있다. 이는 배터리(500)의 전력 입력 노드(510)가 입력단 양단(410, 420) 중 어느 한쪽에 연결되었음을 의미하므로, 전체적인 전기자동차의 배터리-쇼트 상태가 도 8a 또는 도 8b의 회로로 표현될 수 있다. 따라서, 전기자동차에 포함되는 다양한 부품 중, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기가 감지하는 부분이 배터리와 단락되는 배터리-쇼트 상태의 불량 모드가 발생하였다고 할 수 있다.
도 9를 참조하면, 인터락 회로가 배터리-쇼트 상태인 경우에, 본 발명의 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 제2 결합기의 출력신호 상태를 확인할 수 있다. 배터리-쇼트 상태인 경우, 제1 결합기에는 기 설정된 값 이상인 high 상태가 출력되며, 제2 결합기에서는 저전압 신호(0)를 출력하게 된다. 따라서, 본 발명의 제어기는 제1 결합기 및 제2 결합기의 출력 신호를 출력함을 감지하여, 전기자동차의 부품이 배터리-쇼트 상태임을 검출할 수 있다.
도 10a 및 도 10b는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 전기자동차의 그라운드-쇼트 상태에 대한 회로도 구성에 관한 것이고, 도 11은 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 전기자동차의 그라운드-쇼트 상태에서 회로 불량 검출기의 출력 신호의 그래프이다.
도 10a, 도 10b, 도 11을 참조하면, 본 발명의 제어기는 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호이고 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 그라운드-쇼트(GND-Shrot) 상태의 회로 불량임을 검출할 수 있다.
인터락 회로는 전기 자동차 내부에 위치하므로, 그라운드(520)와 인터락 회로가 합선하는 그라운드-쇼트 상태가 발생할 수 있다. 특히, 자동차의 경우 금속으로 구성된 차체 자체가 그라운드 역할을 수행하므로, 인터락 회로의 일부가 차체와 접촉할 때 이러한 불량 모드가 발생할 수 있게 된다.
이는 그라운드(520)가 입력단 양단(410, 420) 중 어느 한쪽에 연결되었음을 의미하므로, 전체적인 전기자동차의 그라운드-쇼트 상태가 도 10a 또는 도 10b의 회로로 표현될 수 있다. 따라서, 전기자동차에 포함되는 다양한 부품 중, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기가 감지하는 부분이 그라운드와 단락되는 그라운드-쇼트 상태의 불량 모드가 발생하였다고 할 수 있다.
도 11을 참조하면, 인터락 회로가 그라운드-쇼트 상태인 경우에, 본 발명의 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 제2 결합기의 출력신호 상태를 확인할 수 있다. 그라운드-쇼트 상태인 경우, 제1 결합기에는 저전압 신호(0)를 출력하며, 제2 결합기에서는 기 설정된 값 이상(high)을 출력하게 된다. 따라서, 본 발명의 제어기는 제1 결합기 및 제2 결합기의 출력 신호를 출력함을 감지하여, 전기자동차의 부품이 그라운드-쇼트 상태임을 검출할 수 있다.
아울러, 본 발명의 제어기(380)는, 상기 제1 결합기(360)의 출력신호 또는 상기 제2 결합기(370)의 출력신호가 갖는 제2 주파수가 기 설정된 범위에서 벗어나는 경우, 상기 인터락 회로가 불량임을 검출할 수 있다. 본 발명의 입력단에 입력되는 검출신호는 카운팅신호와 결합하여 최종 출력 신호를 발생할 수 있는데, 정상 상태인 경우 도 5b와 같이 최종 출력 신호가 가지고 있는 제2 주파수는 일정하게 출력되어야 한다.
그런데, 전기자동차에 포함되는 부품 또는 카운팅신호 생성기 자체에 이상이 발생하는 경우, 제2 주파수에 이상이 생길 수 있다. 더 구체적으로, 제1 주파수의 high상태에서 55회의 high/low가 교번하여 나타날 수 있다. 그런데, 부품 또는 카운팅신호 생성기에 이상이 있는 경우, 40회 또는 100회의 high/low가 교번하여 나타나는 등의 주파수 이상이 발생할 수 있다. 본 발명의 제어기는, 이러한 제2 주파수를 검출하여, 전기자동차의 불량 모드를 확인할 수 있게 된다.
아울러, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기는, 임의 검출신호 생성기를 더 포함할 수 있다. 임의 검출신호 생성기는 제1 주파수를 갖는 임의의 검출신호를 생성하여, 상기 입력단에 상기 임의의 검출신호를 입력할 수 있다. 이 때, 본 발명의 제어기는, 상기 임의의 검출신호에 의하여 생성된 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 또는 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출할 수 있다.
상술한 검출신호의 경우, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기가 생성하지 않고, 인터락 회로로부터 입력받도록 한다. 그러나, 또다른 실시예에서 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기는 자체적인 검출신호를 생성하도록 하여, 입력단의 검출신호 자체가 손상되는 경우의 고장모드를 검출할 수 있다. 또한, 차량으로부터 신호를 받지 않고 임의 검출신호를 사용함으로써, 효율적인 차량 부품의 불량 모드를 검출할 수 있다.
한편, 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기는, 전기자동차 충전 제어기(211)에 사용될 수 있으며, 전기자동차(210)에도 포함될 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 전기자동차 충전 제어기(211)는, 회로 불량 검출기, 전기자동차 충전 스테이션으로부터 전력을 수신하는 전력 커넥터, 상기 전력 커넥터와 연결된 릴레이 회로, 상기 릴레이 회로와 연결되어 상기 전기자동차의 배터리에 전력을 공급하는 전력공급회로를 포함하고, 상기 회로 불량 검출기는, 인터락 회로로부터 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 입력받는 입력단, 입력받은 검출신호의 전압을 보정하는 보정회로, 보정한 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제1 비교기, 보정한 검출신호를 반전하고, 반전한 검출신호와 제2 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제2 비교기, 제2 주파수를 갖는 카운팅신호를 생성하는 카운팅신호 생성기, 상기 제1 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제1 결합기, 상기 제2 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제2 결합기, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출하는 제어기를 포함하고, 상기 제어기가 회로 불량을 검출하는 경우, 상기 릴레이 회로의 스위치를 오픈할 수 있다.
상술한 회로 불량 검출기는 전기자동차에 포함되는 회로의 불량만을 판정할 뿐이며, 회로 불량에 따른 추가 대처에 대한 구성은 전기자동차 충전 제어기에 의하여 구현될 수 있다. 이를 위하여, 본 발명의 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 회로 불량 불량 검출기, 전력 커넥터, 릴레이 회로, 전력공급회로를 포함할 수 있다.
전기자동차가 충전 스테이션에 연결되어 전력을 수신하는 경우, 전력 커넥터가 전력을 수신하고, 전력공급회로를 통하여 전기자동차의 배터리에 전력을 공급할 수 있게 된다.
본 발명의 전기자동차 충전 제어기는, 릴레이 회로를 더 포함하며, 회로 불량 검출기의 제어기가 회로 불량을 검출하는 경우, 릴레이 회로의 스위치를 오픈하여 전기자동차를 안전 상태로 변환하도록 한다.
한편, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 전기자동차(210)는, 인터락 회로, 회로 불량 검출기, 전기자동차 충전 스테이션으로부터 전력을 수신하는 전력 커넥터, 상기 전력 커넥터와 연결된 릴레이 회로, 상기 릴레이 회로와 연결되어 상기 전기자동차의 배터리에 전력을 공급하는 전력공급회로를 포함하고, 상기 전력 커넥터는 전력 입력 포트 및 인터락 포트를 포함하고, 상기 인터락 회로는, 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 생성하는 검출신호 생성기, 상기 전기자동차가 포함하는 적어도 하나의 전자 부품, 상기 인터락 포트 및 상기 검출신호 생성기에 연결되어 폐루프를 형성하는 검출 도선을 포함하고, 상기 회로 불량 검출기는, 인터락 회로로부터 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 입력받는 입력단, 입력받은 검출신호의 전압을 보정하는 보정회로, 보정한 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제1 비교기, 보정한 검출신호를 반전하고, 반전한 검출신호와 제2 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제2 비교기, 제2 주파수를 갖는 카운팅신호를 생성하는 카운팅신호 생성기, 상기 제1 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제1 결합기, 상기 제2 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제2 결합기, 상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출하는 제어기를 포함하고, 상기 제어기가 회로 불량을 검출하는 경우, 상기 릴레이 회로의 스위치를 오픈할 수 있다.
전기자동차는 다양한 부품을 포함할 수 있으며, 해당 부품, 인터락 포트, 검출신호 생성기와 연결되어 폐루프를 형성하는 검출 도선을 포함할 수 있다. 본 발명의 회로 불량 검출기는 검출 도선으로부터 전기자동차의 충전 상태를 확인할 수 있으며, 상술한 전기자동차 충전 제어기의 제어 방법과 같이 불량 모드를 확인 후 릴레이 회로의 오픈 제어를 통하여 전기자동차의 안전 상태로 구현할 수 있게 된다.
이 때, 전기자동차 충전 제어기 및 전기자동차에 포함되는 회로 불량 검출기는, 상술한 회로 불량 검출기가 가지고 있는 구성요소 및 기능을 모두 포함하여 구현될 수 있다.
위에서 설명된 본 발명의 실시 예들은 예시의 목적을 위해 개시된 것이며, 이들에 의하여 본 발명이 한정되는 것은 아니다. 또한, 본 발명에 대한 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 본 발명의 사상과 범위 안에서 다양한 수정 및 변경을 가할 수 있을 것이며, 이러한 수정 및 변경은 본 발명의 범위에 속하는 것으로 보아야 할 것이다.

- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 (h) 단계에서,상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 정상 상태인 것으로 검출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 불량 검출 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 (h) 단계에서,상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 오픈(Open) 상태의 회로 불량으로 검출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 불량 검출 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 (h) 단계에서,상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상이고 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 배터리-쇼트(Battery-Short) 상태의 회로 불량으로 검출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 불량 검출 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 (h) 단계에서,상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호가 저전압 신호이고 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 기 설정된 값 이상일 때, 상기 인터락 회로가 그라운드-쇼트(GND-Shrot) 상태의 회로 불량으로 검출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 불량 검출 방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 (h) 단계에서,상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 또는 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호가 갖는 제2 주파수가 기 설정된 범위에서 벗어나는 경우, 상기 인터락 회로가 불량으로 검출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 불량 검출 방법.
- 전기자동차 충전 제어기에 있어서,회로 불량 검출기;전기자동차 충전 스테이션으로부터 전력을 수신하는 전력 커넥터;상기 전력 커넥터와 연결된 릴레이 회로;상기 릴레이 회로와 연결되어 상기 전기자동차의 배터리에 전력을 공급하는 전력공급회로;를 포함하고,상기 회로 불량 검출기는,인터락 회로로부터 제1 주파수를 갖는 검출신호를 입력받는 입력단;입력받은 검출신호의 전압을 보정하는 보정회로;보정한 검출신호와 제1 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제1 비교기;보정한 검출신호를 반전하고, 반전한 검출신호와 제2 기준 전압을 비교하여, 고전압 신호 또는 저전압 신호를 출력하는 제2 비교기;제2 주파수를 갖는 카운팅신호를 생성하는 카운팅신호 생성기;상기 제1 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제1 결합기;상기 제2 비교기의 출력신호와 상기 카운팅신호를 결합하는 제2 결합기; 및상기 제1 결합기의 출력신호 및 상기 제2 결합기의 출력신호를 기반으로 회로 불량을 검출하는 제어기;를 포함하고,상기 제어기가 회로 불량을 검출하는 경우, 상기 릴레이 회로의 스위치를 오픈하는, 전기자동차 충전 제어기.
