- a tamper evidence band hereinafter also referred to as a TE band
- Such a TE band has an elastic deformation part such as a flap piece.
- this elastic deformation part is a bead provided at the mouth during capping performed in a container manufacturing process, for example, by applying a pressing force (top load) of a predetermined size to the cap by a capping head of a capper. It was pressed against the part and elastically deformed so as to get over the bead part.
- the cap when the elastic deformation part of the TE band is pressed against the bead part of the mouth part, the cap may be inclined and the cap may be screwed obliquely. Such an oblique covering of the cap tends to occur particularly in the case of a wide-mouthed container having a mouth diameter of 30 mm or more.

- the tamper evidence band has an elastic deformation portion that is elastically deformed by being pressed against the bead portion from above and climbs over the bead portion downward,
- the first interval from the engagement upper end portion of the male screw of the mouth portion to the bead portion is larger than the second interval from the engagement lower end portion of the female screw of the cap to the elastic deformation portion of the tamper evidence band. It is characterized by that.
- the inclination angle of the upper surface of the bead portion is 30 ° or more.
- the size of the first interval and the second interval is set so that the elastically deforming portion of the tamper evidence band when the internal thread engages with the external thread over 5 mm or more. It is preferably set so as to contact the bead portion.

- the engagement length L (that is, between the engagement upper end Up of the male screw 5 and the engagement lower end Lp of the female screw 14 when the elastic deformation portion 25 first contacts the bead portion 6).
- the interval along the circumferential direction is preferably 5 mm or more. In this way, by setting the engagement length L to 5 mm or more, even in the case of a wide-mouthed container, it is possible to particularly effectively suppress the oblique covering of the cap 2.
- the engagement length L is more preferably 13 mm or more. When the engagement length L is 13 mm or more as described above, the effect can be further exhibited.
- the inclination angle ⁇ (see FIG. 1) of the upper surface 11 of the bead portion 6 is 30 ° or more.
- the position of the portion of the upper surface 11 of the bead portion 6 where the elastic deformation portion 25 of the tamper evidence band 21 first contacts can be shifted downward than usual. it can. Therefore, since the first interval D1 can be made larger than usual without affecting the second interval D2, it is easy to ensure an engagement margin when the elastically deforming portion 25 first contacts the bead portion 6. can do.
