Definitions
- the present invention relates to a vehicle control device, and more particularly to a vehicle control device that controls a brake fluid pressure of a vehicle.
- ASV Advanced Safety Vehicles
- the collision damage reduction brake predicts a collision with the preceding vehicle, pedestrians, obstacles, etc. in front of the vehicle obtained from radar and camera, and automatically applies the brake to reduce the collision damage.
- Control technology In order to reduce such collision damage, responsiveness from when an obstacle is recognized and a deceleration command is issued until the vehicle is actually braked is important.
- Patent Document 1 proposes a technique for improving the maneuverability and stability of the vehicle by automatically accelerating / decelerating in conjunction with the lateral movement by the steering wheel operation.
- a deceleration command is mainly given to Electronic Stability Control (ESC), which is a skid prevention device, and brake fluid pressure is generated on the four wheels of the vehicle to automatically brake.
- ESC Electronic Stability Control
- the vehicle is controlled by applying.
- ESC Electronic Stability Control
- the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle control device capable of shortening the response delay of the deceleration of the vehicle with respect to the deceleration command.
- a vehicle control device is a vehicle control device that controls a running state of the vehicle by adjusting a distribution ratio of a brake fluid pressure to a brake provided on the front, rear, left, and right of the vehicle, The distribution ratio of the brake hydraulic pressure is changed between the front brake and the rear brake based on the driving scene.
- the response delay of the deceleration of the vehicle with respect to the deceleration command can be shortened.
- FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a “gg diagram” represented by longitudinal acceleration G x and lateral acceleration G y when obstacle avoidance by steering and deceleration shown in FIG. 3 is performed. It is the figure which showed the map for determining the distribution ratio of the brake fluid pressure with respect to a front brake and a back brake based on TTC. It is the figure which showed the map for determining the distribution ratio of the brake fluid pressure with respect to a front brake and a back brake based on a lateral jerk.
- FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an overall configuration of a vehicle equipped with a vehicle control device according to the present invention. It is a figure which shows the internal structure of ADAS controller (vehicle control apparatus which concerns on this invention) shown in FIG. 11, and ESC. It is the figure which showed the flowchart of the process by the back-and-front distribution ratio determination part shown in FIG.
- ADAS controller vehicle control apparatus which concerns on this invention
- the brake fluid pressure is changed back and forth (front and rear) in accordance with external information, vehicle information, lateral motion information, and the like.
- the mode of deceleration is not particularly limited, and may be a mode in which the brake fluid pressure is distributed back and forth in accordance with the brake operation (driver operation) performed by the driver, the collision damage reducing brake, and the technique described in Patent Document 1.
- the brake fluid pressure may be distributed back and forth based on a deceleration command from the controller.
- FIG. 1 shows that when traveling on a straight road, a driver or an outside recognition sensor (described later in detail) recognizes an obstacle ahead (such as a vehicle) and decelerates to generate brake hydraulic pressure at the same pressure on all four wheels.
- a driver or an outside recognition sensor (described later in detail) recognizes an obstacle ahead (such as a vehicle) and decelerates to generate brake hydraulic pressure at the same pressure on all four wheels.
- four-wheel same-pressure braking control according to the prior art, dotted line in the figure
- the distribution ratio of the front wheel brake hydraulic pressure
- FIG. 2 shows a difference in the vehicle stop distance as an effect of the present invention when the vehicle is decelerated as shown in FIG.
- the amount of fluid that can be generated with respect to the front wheels increases, so that the braking force can be generated in a short time and the responsiveness is improved.
- the specific acceleration / deceleration command value (target longitudinal acceleration G xc ) is basically obtained by multiplying the lateral jerk G y_dot by the gain C xy and adding the first-order delay as shown in the following ( Equation 1). It is a simple control law that uses acceleration / deceleration commands.
- G y is the vehicle lateral acceleration
- G y_dot is the vehicle lateral jerk
- C xy is the gain
- T is the first-order lag time constant
- s is the Laplace operator
- G xDC is the acceleration / deceleration command not linked to the lateral motion, for example, automatic braking It corresponds to the pre-crash brake.
- Patent Document 1 It has been confirmed in Patent Document 1 that, by this, a part of the linkage control strategy of the lateral movement and the longitudinal movement of the expert driver can be simulated, and the turning performance and steering stability of the vehicle can be improved.
- the above-mentioned G-Vectoring control is acceleration / deceleration control, but the current traveling scene is intended for control only for deceleration.
- FIG. 3 shows that while driving on a straight road, an obstacle (for example, a vehicle) ahead is recognized by a driver or an external recognition sensor (detailed later), and the driver decelerates by G-Vectoring control while operating the steering wheel.
- the distribution ratio of the front wheel (brake fluid pressure) and the front wheel (brake fluid pressure) in the case of four-wheel same-pressure braking in which the brake fluid pressure is generated at the same pressure on the four wheels Is increased (control by the vehicle control device according to the present invention, solid line in the figure), the lateral acceleration with respect to the steering angle, the deceleration command calculated in (Equation 1), the vehicle deceleration, and each wheel (the left front wheel) , Right front wheel, left rear wheel, right rear wheel).
- FIG. 4 shows the relationship of the vehicle position with respect to an obstacle as an effect of the present invention when the steering and deceleration shown in FIG. 3 are performed.
- FIG. 3 as shown in FIG. 4, it is assumed that avoidance steering is performed such that the vehicle changes to the left lane.
- the “gg diagram” represented by the longitudinal acceleration G x and the lateral acceleration G y shows the case where the brake hydraulic pressure is generated at the same pressure on the four wheels (four wheel same pressure G-Vectoring control). Since the deceleration of the vehicle is delayed with respect to the deceleration command, the transition in which the longitudinal acceleration G x and the lateral acceleration G y are linked as described in Patent Document 1 does not occur.
- the brake fluid pressure is 4 wheels.
- the effect of the improvement compared with the case of the same pressure was described separately for the driving scene when there is no steering operation and when there is steering operation.
- how to determine the distribution ratio of the brake fluid pressure to the front brake and the rear brake will be described.
- the distribution ratio (front / rear distribution ratio) of the brake fluid pressure for the front brake and the rear brake is based on the collision risk obtained from the external information, vehicle information, lateral motion information, etc. Judgment is made on whether or not deceleration responsiveness is necessary, and a brake fluid pressure front-rear distribution ratio R FR is determined.
- a two-dimensional map represented by a predicted collision time TTC (Time To Collision) to an obstacle whose vertical axis is the front-to-back distribution ratio R FR and whose horizontal axis is the collision risk is shown.
- TTC Time To Collision
- TTC obtained from external information is used on the horizontal axis, but steering angular velocity, yaw angular acceleration, lateral jerk, accelerator change speed, brake change speed, etc. obtained from vehicle information and lateral motion information, etc. May be used as an index of collision risk.
- the slope CRF takes a positive value, but the steering angular velocity, yaw angular acceleration, lateral jerk, accelerator change speed, and brake change speed have larger values. Since it can be determined that the collision risk becomes higher, the slope C FR takes a negative value as in the two-dimensional map of the distribution ratio to the lateral jerk shown in FIG.
- the vertical axis represents the front-to-back distribution ratio
- the horizontal axis represents the slope of the collision risk as a constant value.
- this is an example, and the change point (change) varies depending on the collision risk. You may use the map which has a music point (refer FIG. 15 mentioned later).
- FIG. 8 shows a state in which the brake fluid pressure is distributed to the front brake and the rear brake by the front / rear distribution ratio R FR calculated using (Equation 2) in the same case as FIG.
- R FR0 is an initial distribution ratio (for example, a distribution ratio in the case of four-wheel same-pressure braking ).
- the vehicle deceleration becomes the same as the deceleration command. (in FIG. 9, t43 or later), to prevent wear of the front wheel tires and brake pads may be returned to the front-rear distribution ratio R FR brake fluid pressure to the initial distribution ratio R FR0.
- the brake fluid pressure distribution may be changed from four wheels (front and rear brakes) to two wheels (front or rear brakes) or two wheels (front or rear Brake) may be changed to four wheels (front and rear brakes). Furthermore, when decelerating while driving on a straight road, the brake fluid pressure is distributed to the four-wheel brakes (front and rear brakes), and when decelerating while driving on a curved road, that is, when avoiding collision by steering operation. Since it is important to improve the turning ability by deceleration at the initial stage of steering, the brake fluid pressure may be distributed to the brakes (front or rear brake) of the front wheels or the rear wheels.
- FIG. 10 shows a state where the vehicle enters a turning section (section consisting of a curved curved road) B from a straight section (section consisting of a straight road) A, and travels again in a straight section C after exiting. Is.
- the brake fluid pressure front-rear distribution ratio R FR has been determined using a two-dimensional map of collision risk according to external information, vehicle information, and lateral motion information. If it is determined that the vehicle is traveling on a turning circuit such as turning section B in FIG. 10, it is determined that the turning section has a higher risk of collision than the straight traveling section, and the brake fluid pressure distribution ratio of the front wheels is larger than that of the rear wheels. Alternatively, the front-rear distribution ratio R FR of the brake fluid pressure may be determined so that only the front wheel or the rear wheel is braked.
- the deceleration command value is output to the predetermined front and rear brakes, and the brake fluid pressure is set to the front.
- the deceleration command value is output to the front or rear brake, and the brake fluid pressure is distributed to the front or rear brake.
- a deceleration command value is output to the front and rear brakes, and the brake fluid pressure is distributed to the front and rear brakes.
- FIG. 11 shows the overall configuration of a vehicle including the vehicle control device according to the present invention.
- the steering amount of the driver's steering wheel 19 is detected by a steering angle sensor 40, and an arithmetic process such as calculation of a steering angular velocity is performed by an ADAS (Advanced driver assistance system) controller (vehicle control device) 30. Is called.
- the amount of depression of the accelerator pedal 20 of the driver is detected by the accelerator sensor 41 and is processed by the ADAS controller 30.
- the amount of depression of the brake pedal 21 of the driver is detected by the brake sensor 42 and calculated by the ADAS controller 30.
- the ESC 31 controls the left front wheel braking device 15, the right front wheel braking device 16, the left rear wheel braking device 17, and the right rear wheel braking device 18, respectively.

Abstract
