Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の第1の実施の形態である表示制御装置1の構成を示すブロック図である。表示制御装置1は、取得部11、制御部12および記憶部13を備えて構成される。記憶部13は、複数のデータベース(Data Base;略称:DB)14,15を含む。本実施の形態では、記憶部13は、アライメント/プログレッションDB14、およびコンポーネント位置DB15を含む。以下の説明において、アライメント/プログレッションDB14およびコンポーネント位置DB15を特に区別しないで示す場合には、単に、「DB14,15」と記載する。
図2は、本発明の第2の実施の形態である表示制御装置3の構成を示すブロック図である。表示制御装置3は、表示装置2および操作入力装置4とともに、情報提供装置20を構成する。情報提供装置20は、表示制御装置3、表示装置2および操作入力装置4を備えて構成される。情報提供装置20は、移動体、たとえば車両とともに移動可能に構成される。本実施の形態では、情報提供装置20は、経路を案内するナビゲーション機能を有するナビゲーション装置によって実現される。
Claims (4)
- 表示すべき同一の内容の表示情報を、異なる複数の言語に対応する複数の画面レイアウトで表示可能な表示装置を制御する表示制御装置であって、
前記表示装置に表示すべき表示言語として、前記複数の言語のうち、いずれの言語が選択されたかを示す言語選択フラグを取得する取得部と、
各前記画面レイアウトに関するレイアウト情報を、前記画面レイアウトを構成する複数の表示要素に分けて、前記表示要素毎に、前記言語選択フラグに対応付けて記憶する複数のデータベースを含む記憶部と、
各前記データベースから、前記言語選択フラグに対応する前記レイアウト情報を取得し、取得した前記レイアウト情報に基づいて前記表示情報を表示するように前記表示装置を制御する制御部とを備え、
前記複数のデータベースは、
前記複数の表示要素のうち、文字を表示すべき文字表示領域における前記文字の位置を示すアライメント情報、および前記文字の順序を示すプログレッション情報を記憶するアライメント/プログレッションデータベースと、
前記複数の表示要素のうち、前記文字表示領域を含むコンポーネントの前記画面レイアウトにおける位置を示すコンポーネント位置情報を記憶するコンポーネント位置データベースとを含むことを特徴とする表示制御装置。 - 前記複数の言語は、第1の言語と、前記第1の言語以外の言語とを含み、
前記言語選択フラグは、前記第1の言語が選択されたことを示す第1言語選択値と、前記第1の言語以外の言語が選択されたことを示す非第1言語選択値とを設定可能であり、
各前記データベースは、前記第1言語選択値に対応する前記レイアウト情報と、前記非第1言語選択値に対応する前記レイアウト情報とを分けて記憶することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示制御装置。 - 前記表示装置は移動可能であり、
前記言語選択フラグは、前記表示装置の地理的位置に関連して切替えられることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の表示制御装置。 - 表示すべき同一の内容の表示情報を、異なる複数の言語に対応する複数の画面レイアウトで表示可能な表示装置を制御する表示制御方法であって、
前記表示装置に表示すべき表示言語として、前記複数の言語のうち、いずれの言語が選択されたかを示す言語選択フラグを取得し、
各前記画面レイアウトに関するレイアウト情報を、前記画面レイアウトを構成する複数の表示要素に分けて、前記表示要素毎に、前記言語選択フラグに対応付けて複数のデータベースに記憶し、
前記言語選択フラグが取得されると、取得された言語選択フラグに対応する前記レイアウト情報を、各前記データベースから取得し、取得した前記レイアウト情報に基づいて前記表示情報を表示するように前記表示装置を制御し、
前記複数のデータベースに前記レイアウト情報を記憶するときには、少なくとも、前記複数の表示要素のうち、文字を表示すべき文字表示領域における前記文字の位置を示すアライメント情報、および前記文字の順序を示すプログレッション情報を記憶するアライメント/プログレッションデータベースと、
前記複数の表示要素のうち、前記文字表示領域を含むコンポーネントの前記画面レイアウトにおける位置を示すコンポーネント位置情報を記憶するコンポーネント位置データベースとに記憶することを特徴とする表示制御方法。
