Abstract

니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 귀금속(M)이 도핑된 것이되, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아(YSZ)의 표면의 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에 귀금속(M)과 니켈의 합금(M-Ni alloy)이 형성된 건식 개질 촉매 및 이를 귀금속/글루코스를 이용하여 제조하는 방법, 상기 촉매를 이용하여 건식 개질을 수행하는 방법이 제공된다. 이에 따르면, Ni/YSZ 촉매와 대비하여 훨씬 높은 건식 개질 활성을 보여줄 수 있다. 또한, 열화가 억제 또는 방지되어 장기 성능도 향상할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 제조 방법은 Ni/YSZ 표면의 Ni 사이트에서의 귀금속-Ni의 합금화를 수행하는데 유용하고, 또한 제조 공정을 단순화할 수 있어 대량 생산에 적합하다.

건식 개질 촉매 및 제조방법, 해당 촉매를 이용한 건식 개질 방법
본 명세서는 건식 개질 촉매 및 제조방법, 해당 촉매를 이용한 건식 개질 방법에 관한 것이다.
[국가지원 연구개발에 대한 설명]
본 연구는 한국과학기술연구원 주관 하에 미래창조과학부 한국연구재단(글로벌연구실사업, 대체 연료를 사용하는 고온 연료전지용 장수명 및 가격저감화 구성요소 재료 연구, 과제고유번호: 1711001110)의 지원에 의하여 이루어진 것이다.
전기 화학 반응을 이용하는 예컨대 고체 산화물 연료전지(이하, SOFC)는 환경적으로 유해한 가스 방출이 없기 때문에 이동형 또는 고정용 동력 발생 장치로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 일반적으로, 고체 산화물 연료전지와 같은 고온 연료전지는 산화물 기반 막을 통한 충분한 산소 이온 전도도를 얻기 위하여 높은 작동 온도를 요구하기 때문에, 메탄과 같은 탄화수소 및/또는 일산화탄소를 포함한 다양한 타입의 연료를 사용할 수 있다. 이러한 탄소 함유 연료로부터 수소를 인 시츄로 생산하기 위하여 외부 또는 내부 스팀 개질(steam reforming process) 과정이 널리 이용되고 있다.
그러나, 이러한 스팀 개질 방식은 시스템적 측면에서 볼 때, 물을 저장하고 공급해야 한다는 점에서 효율을 저하시킨다.
한편, 최근에 바이오 가스를 연료로 하는 연구를 많이 진행 중에 있다. 바이오 매스로부터 얻을 수 있는 바이오 가스는 메탄 건식 개질(methane dry reforming) 또는 바이오 가스 개질(bio gas reforming)[이하, '건식 개질(dry reforming)'이라고 한다]을 통해 합성 가스 (H2 + CO)로 전환될 수 있다. 참고로, 바이오 가스의 주요 구성은 메탄(50~60몰%) 및 이산화탄소(40~50몰%)이다. 상기 건식 개질(dry reforming) 방식에서는, 스팀 개질에서의 물의 역할을 이산화탄소로 대체한다. 이러한 건식 개질에서는 별다른 장치의 필요 없이, 해당 메탄과 이산화탄소의 바이오 가스를 직접 주입하기 때문에 시스템적 효율을 높일 수 있고, 향상된 효율의 컴팩트한 SOFC 시스템의 디자인을 가능하게 한다.
그러나, 위와 같은 건식 개질 방법은 전체적으로는 탄소 소스(Carbon source)가 늘어나는 것이 되기 때문에, 물을 이용하는 스팀 개질(Steam reforming)과 대비할 때, 탄소 침적(carbon deposition) 또는 카본 코킹에 따른 비활성화(deactivation via carbon coking)에 취약할 수 밖에 없다.
보다 이론적으로 설명하면, 이산화탄소는 일산화탄소 형성을 통한 카본 제거 (CO2 + C -> 2CO: reverse Boudouard reaction)에 대하여 덜 반응적(less reactive)이므로, 추가되는 스팀이 없는 상황이라면 카본 코킹에 따른 비활성화나 카본 침적에 매우 민감할 수밖에 없게 된다. 즉, 바이오가스를 직접 주입하게 되면 C-H-O 삼성분 다이어그램에 기초할 때 열역학적으로 더 우호적인 카본 코킹이 발생하게 되는 것이다.
이러한 점을 고려할 때, 전체 시스템의 효율을 개선하기 위해 카본 코킹이 수반되는 제반 개질 반응에 사용될 내구성 있는 촉매의 개발과 카본 침적을 방지하기 위한 산소 소스(예: 산소 또는 물)를 가지는 연료 조성물의 최적화가 요구되는 실정이다.
본 발명의 구현예들에서는, 일측면에서, 기존의 Ni/YSZ 촉매와 대비하여 훨씬 높은 건식 개질 촉매 활성(성능)을 보여줄 수 있고, 열화가 억제 또는 방지되어 내구성, 장기 성능이 우수한 건식 개질 촉매 및 제조방법, 해당 촉매를 이용한 건식 개질 방법을 제공하고자 한다.
본 발명의 구현예들에서는, 다른 일측면에서, 제조 공정이 단순하여 대량 생산에 적합한 건식 개질 촉매 및 제조방법, 해당 촉매를 이용한 건식 개질 방법을 제공하고자 한다.

본 발명의 또 다른 구현예들에서는, 건식 개질 방법으로서, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 귀금속(M)이 도핑된 것이되, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아(YSZ)의 표면의 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에 귀금속(M)과 니켈의 합금(M-Ni alloy)이 형성된 촉매를 이용하여 건식 개질을 수행하는 방법을 제공한다.
본 발명의 구현예들에 따르면, 일측면에서, 기존의 Ni/YSZ 촉매와 대비하여 훨씬 높은 건식 개질 활성(성능)을 보여줄 수 있고, 열화가 억제 또는 방지되어 향상된 내구성 또는 장기 성능 (예컨대, 120 시간 후 장기 성능)을 나타낼 수 있다. 따라서, 해당 촉매는 연료전지 특히 고체 산화물 연료전지의 건식 개질에 매우 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
본 발명의 구현예들에 따르면, 다른 일측면에서, 제조 공정이 간단하여 상기 Pd-Ni/YSZ 촉매를 대량 생산하기에 적합하다.

본 명세서에서 장기 성능 또는 장기 안정성(long term stability) 또는 내구성(durability) 향상이란 촉매를 장착한 후 운전을 지속하는 경우 발생하는 카본 코킹, 카본 침적 등에 의한 열화를 방지 또는 억제할 수 있는 것을 의미한다.
본 명세서에서 건식 개질(dry reforming)이란 탄화수소 연료에서 수소 혹은 일산화탄소와 같은 연료로 전환할 때 반응물을 물이 아닌 이산화탄소를 이용하여 반응시키는 개질을 의미한다.
본 명세서에서 귀금속/글루코오스(M/glucose; M은 귀금속)란 글루코스에 귀금속 입자, 특히 귀금속 나노 입자가 담지된 것을 의미한다. 예컨대, 글루코오스 표면에 귀금속 입자가 분산되어 존재하는 형태일 수 있다.
SOFC에 연료극 물질로서 사용되는 Ni/YSZ에 귀금속을 도핑하되 특히 니켈 사이트에서 귀금속과 해당 니켈을 합금화하면 놀랍게도 니켈의 전기적 구조(electronic structure)가 변형되고 이에 따라 건식 개질(dry reforming)의 활성(activity)과 내구성(durability)을 향상할 수 있다. 즉, Ni/YSZ의 Ni 사이트에서의 귀금속과의 합금화를 통해 귀금속으로부터 Ni로의 전하 이동(charge transfer)을 통해 Ni의 산화 상태를 환원 상태로 유지함으로써 메탄 활성화 (CH4 activation) 율을 증가시키고 표면에서의 탄소 성장(carbon growth) 또는 탄소 침적(carbon deposit)을 억제할 수 있다. 이에 따라 건식 개질 반응을 위한 내구성뿐만 아니라 촉매 활성도 향상하게 되는 것이다.
또한, 상기한 니켈의 전기적 구조의 변화를 위하여, Ni/YSZ에 귀금속을 도핑 시 특정한 방법 즉, 후술하는 바와 같이 귀금속/글루코오스(M/glucose; M은 귀금속)을 이용하여 귀금속을 도핑하는 것이 매우 유용하다.

예시적 구현예에서, 상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서의 합금화는 탄소 성장 또는 탄소 침적 형성을 억제할 수 있다.
예시적인 구현예에서, 상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서 합금화된 귀금속-니켈 합금(M-Ni alloy)은 CH4 크랙킹(CH4 cracking)과 CO2 매개 탄소 산화(CO2 mediated carbon oxidation)를 모두 촉진할 수 있다.
예시적인 구현예에서, 상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서 합금화된 귀금속-니켈 합금(M-Ni alloy)은 크랙킹된 탄소의 산화를 촉진하고 메탄 활성화를 촉진할 수 있다.
예시적인 구현예에서, 상기 촉매는 750℃ 이상의 온도에서 건식 개질을 수행하는 것이 바람직하고, 800℃ 이상의 온도에서 건식 개질을 수행하는 것이 더 바람직하다. 메탄 크랙킹(methane cracking)과 탄소 제거(carbon removal)(이는 메탄 건식 개질에 필수적인 요소들이다)의 현저한 상승을 위하여, 높은 온도(750℃ 이상, 특히 800℃ 이상)가 필요하다.
예시적인 구현예에서, 상기 촉매는 750~900℃ 또는 800~900℃ 온도에서 건식 개질을 수행할 수 있다.

이와 같이 글루코스에 귀금속 입자가 담지된 귀금속/글루코스(M/glucose)를 이용하여 귀금속을 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아(Ni/YSZ)에 도핑하면 제조 공정을 매우 간단히 할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 Ni/YSZ의 Ni 사이트에서 귀금속-Ni 의 합금화를 유도하여 전기적 구조를 쉽게 변화시킬 수 있다.
예시적인 구현예에서, 상기 건식 개질 촉매 제조 방법은, 글루코스에 담지된 귀금속 전구체(M/glucose; M은 귀금속)를 제공하는 단계; 상기 글루코스에 담지된 귀금속 전구체(Pd/glucose) 및 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)를 용매에서 혼합하고 교반하는 단계; 및 혼합 용액을 필터링 하고 환원 분위기에서 열처리하는 단계;를 포함할 수 있다.

도 1(a)에 도시된 바와 같이, 먼저 글루코스에 담지된 팔라듐 전구체를 제조한다. 본 발명의 예시적인 구현예들에서는 귀금속 전구체를 직접 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 도핑하는 것이 아니라 글루코스에 담지시키고 이를 이용하여 도핑을 수행한다. 상기 글루코스는 귀금속을 도핑하기 위한 일종의 캐리어(carrier)의 역할을 수행한다. 글루코스는 필터링 되면서 제거되고 최종적으로 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 귀금속이 도핑된 촉매가 제공된다.
도 1에서 예시하는 바와 같이, 팔라듐/글루코스는 PVD 과정을 이용하여 제조될 수 있다. 즉, 글루코스 담지체에 플라즈마 증착(plasma vapor deposition) 방법을 이용하여 팔라듐 입자와 같은 귀금속 입자를 증착시켜 글루코스 담지체에 해당 팔라듐 입자가 담지된 전구체를 제조할 수 있다.
다음으로, 상기 글루코스에 담지된 팔라듐 전구체(Pd/glucose) 및 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)를 용매에서 혼합하고 교반(예컨대, Magnetic bar를 이용하여 24시간 교반)한다.
비제한적인 예시에서, 상기 용매는 탈이온수를 사용할 수 있다. 유기용매를 사용해야 하는 경우, 극성이 높아 글루코스를 녹일 수 있는 유기용매를 사용할 수 있다. 또한 글루코스의 원하는 용매에 대한 용해도에 맞추어 유기용매에 녹인 후 도핑할 수 있다.
비제한적인 예시에서, 상기 팔라듐/글루코스(Pd/glucose)는 전체 촉매 중 0중량% 초과 5중량% 이하로 함유될 수 있다. 5중량%를 초과하게 되면 성능 향상에서 얻는 효과가 크지 않을 뿐만 아니라 팔라듐과 같은 귀금속 입자는 비싸기 때문에 가격적 측면에서도 효율적이지 않다.
비제한적인 예시에서, 상기 글루코스 중 팔라듐의 중량비율(또는 농도)는 500~5000ppm일 수 있다.
다음으로, 상기 혼합 용액을 필터링(Filtering)하여 촉매를 회수한 뒤 오븐에 넣어 건조(예컨대, 건조는 80℃ 4시간으로 수행)한다. 건조된 촉매를 회수하여 고온의 환원 분위기에서 열처리(예컨대, 750℃, 25%H2/N2에서 3시간)하여 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 팔라듐이 도핑된 건식 개질 촉매를 제조한다. 앞서 설명한 바와 같이, 이와 같이 열처리를 수행하는 것은 고온에서 Pd(귀금속)과 Ni의 합금화를 하기 위함이며, 부분적으로 산화되었을 수 있는 Ni과 Pd(귀금속)의 환원을 위해 환원 분위기에서 열처리를 한다.
상기 열처리를 거쳐 촉매를 제조한다. 제조된 촉매는 전술한 바와 같이 활성과 내구성이 우수한 것이며, 예컨대 120 시간 이상 운전 후에도 초기 촉매 활성을 유지할 수 있다.
한편, 본 발명의 또 다른 구현예들에서는, 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아(Ni/YSZ) 촉매의 건식 개질 성능 및 장기 안정성 향상 방법으로서, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 귀금속(M)을 도핑하되, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아(YSZ)의 표면의 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에 귀금속(M)과 니켈의 합금(M-Ni alloy)을 형성하도록 하는, 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아(Ni/YSZ) 촉매의 건식 개질 성능 및 장기 안정성 향상 방법을 제공한다.
또한, 본 발명의 또 다른 구현예들에서는, 건식 개질 방법으로서, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 귀금속(M)이 도핑된 것이되, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아(YSZ)의 표면의 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에 귀금속(M)과 니켈의 합금(M-Ni alloy)이 형성된 촉매를 이용하여 건식 개질을 수행하는 건식 개질 방법을 제공한다.
예시적인 일 구현예에서, 상기 촉매의 건식 개질 성능 및 내구성은 특히 상기 촉매를 장착한 고체산화물 연료전지의 작동 온도가 750 ℃ 이상, 바람직하게는 인 경우 800 ℃ 이상에서 더욱 우수하다. 그러므로, 상기 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아(Ni/YSZ) 촉매의 성능 및 장기 안정성 향상 방법 또는 상기 건식 개질 방법에서는, 건식 개질 온도 예컨대 상기 촉매를 장착한 고체산화물 연료전지의 작동 온도를 750℃ 이상 또는 800℃ 이상으로 하는 것이 바람직하다. 예시적인 구현예에서, 상기 촉매는 750~900℃ 또는 800~900℃ 온도에서 건식 개질을 수행할 수 있다.
예시적인 구현예에서, 상기 촉매를 고체산화물 연료전지에 장착하고 전술한 온도 범위(750 ℃ 이상, 바람직하게는 800 ℃ 이상, 예컨대 750~900℃ 또는 800~900℃)에서 운전하여 건식 개질을 수행할 수 있다.
이하, 실시예 및 실험을 통하여 더욱 상세히 설명하지만, 이하에 기재된 내용에 본 발명이 한정되지 않는다.
[실시예 및 비교예 촉매 제조]
비교예
우선 Ni/YSZ 세멧(cermet)을 다음과 같이 제조하였다.
NiO (Sumitomo), YSZ(Tosoh TZ-8Y), Polymethlymethacrylate (Aldrich)를 50:50:15의 중량비로 혼합하여 24시간 동안 볼밀 하고, 이어서 1500℃에서 5 시간 동안 소성(sintering)하였다.
얻어진 NiO/YSZ 파우더를 고온의 환원 분위기에서 환원시켜 Ni/YSZ 세멧(cermet)을 제조하였다. 환원 분위기는 800℃, 25% H2/75%N2이고, 환원 시간은 12시간이다. 얻어진 Ni/YSZ 서멧을 비교예로 한다.
실시예
한편, 실시예인 Pd-Ni/YSZ를 제조하기 위하여, PVD (physical vapor deposition)에 의하여 제조된, 글루코스에 분산된 금속 나노 입자(Pd Nanoparticles/glucose)를 사용하였다.
구체적으로, Pd/글루코스 (18g)를 D.I.water에 녹인 수용성 용액(aqueous solution)[25mL]을 1시간동안 초음파 처리(Sonification)하고, 이를 상술한 방법으로 준비한 Ni/YSZ 파우더와 혼합하였다. 얻어진 이종 혼합물(heterogeneous mixture)을 상온에서 24시간 동안 교반하였고, 필터링 후 40℃에서 건조하였다. 건조된 파우더를 750℃, 25% H2/75%N2의 환원 분위기하에서 4시간 동안 가열하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 Pd 나노 입자들이 Ni/YSZ 표면에 드러난 Ni 종(Ni species)들과 반응하여 Pd-Ni 합금을 형성하였다(이에 대하여 아래에서 보다 상세히 설명한다).
유도 커플 플라즈마 매스 스펙트로메트리(Agilent ICP-MS 7700S)로 Ni/YSZ 중의 전체 니켈 양 100중량부에 대하여 0.64중량부의 팔라듐 입자가 로딩되었음을 확인하였다.
[실험]
물리적 특성 분석
Ni/YSZ (비교예) 및 Pd- Ni/YSZ (실시예)의 결정 구조를 파악하기 위하여, 1.54Å의 Cu Ka 라디에이션을 사용하는 파워 X-레이 디프랙토미터(XRD, Rigaku Mini Flex II)를 이용하였다. 또한, 촉매의 형상(shape)과 몰폴로지(morphology)를 고 해상 전자 투과 현미경(HR-TEM, FEI Tecnai F20)으로 분석하였다.
또한, 모노크로메이터(monochromator) Al Kα X-ray (1486.6 eV)를 이용한 X-ray 광전자 스펙트로스코피[X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS, PHI 50000 VersaProbe, Ulvac-PHI)]를 이용하였다. 수집된 피크는 6.7x10-8 Pa의 백그라운드 압력에서 C 1s peak (284.6 eV)로 캘리브레이션하였다.
한편, 실시예 Pd- Ni/YSZ에서의 Pd-Ni 합금화(Pd-Ni alloying)의 전기적 효과(electronic effect)를 파악하고자, 가우스 함수(Gaussian function)로 디컨벌루션(deconvolution)하여 분석하였다.
또한, 인 시츄 TGA (열중량 분석; Thermogravimetric Analysis)를 수행하여 메탄 또는 이산화탄소 공급 시의 Ni/YSZ (비교예) 및 Pd-Ni/YSZ (실시예)의 중량 변화를 관찰하였다.
도 2는 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)의 XRD 패턴을 나타내는 그래프이다. 도 2에서 X축은 2세타(단위: degree)이고, Y축은 강도(단위: 임의 단위)이다. 도 2에서 아래 쪽 그래프가 (Pd-Ni/YSZ)이고, 위쪽 그래프가 Ni/YSZ이다. 도 2의 그래프 중 내부 박스는 Ni(111) 부분을 확대하여 나타내는 것이다.
도 2에서 알 수 있듯이, XRD 분석 결과 Pd- Ni/YSZ (실시예)의 경우 Pd-Ni/YSZ에 해당하는 피크가, Ni/YSZ (비교예)와 대비하여, 낮은 각(lower angle)쪽으로 약간 이동한 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 Pd 도입 시 Ni의 격자 확장(lattice expansion)에 의하여 유도된 Pd-Ni 합금 형성을 의미한다. 참고로, XRD 피크가 약간 이동한 것은 Pd 의 양이 작기 때문(0.64중량부)이다.
Pd- Ni/YSZ 서멧 특성을 파악하고자, TEM 및 TEM-EDS를 사용하여 추가 분석하였다.
도 3은 본 발명의 비제한적인 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)의 TEM 이미지이다. 도 3중 (a)는 Pd-Ni/YSZ를 나타내고, (b)는 (a) 중 사각형 부분을 확대하여 나타내는 것이며, (c), (d), (e)는 각각 Zr, Pd, Ni 원소 맵핑(elemental mapping)을 나타내는 것이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 원소 맵핑(elemental mapping) 시 Pd 나노 입자가 Ni/YSZ 의 Ni 사이트에 우선 도핑된 것을 알 수 있다[도 3(d), 3(e) 참고]. 이는 Pd-Ni 합금(Pd-Ni alloy)이 형성되었음을 뒷받침하는 것이다.
한편, 도 4는 본 발명의 비제한적인 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)의 TEM-EDS 이미지이다. 도 4중 (a)는 Pd-Ni/YSZ를 나타내고, (b)는 (a) 중 사각형 부분을 확대하여 나타내는 것이며, (c), (d), (e)는 각각 Zr, Pd, Ni 원소 맵핑(elemental mapping)을 나타내는 것이다. 도 4(d)의 보라색 컬러 부분[도 4(d)에서 얼룩 처럼 보이는 부분]은 도 4(e)의 오랜지 컬러 부분[도 4(e)에서 얼룩 처럼 보이는 부분]과 잘 매치되는 것을 알 수 있다.
이와 같이, Pd 나노 입자는 Ni/YSZ의 표면의 Ni 사이트 상에서 확인되었다. 이 결과는 Pd가 Ni/YSZ의 Ni 사이트에서 합금화 되었음을 보여주는 것이다.
건식 개질 성능 평가
Ni/YSZ (비교예) 및 Pd- Ni/YSZ (실시예) 촉매를 사용하여 대기압 하에서 고정 배드 반응기[fixed-bed reactor; 내부 직경: 9mm / 사용 물질: 석영(quartz)]에서 바이오 가스 개질 [CH4 + CO2 -> 2CO + 2H2] 활성을 측정하였다. 반응기의 유입 압력은 상용의 압력 센서/게이지(PSA-1, Autonics)를 사용하여 측정하였다. 제조된 촉매가 놓인 반응기 (중량 ca. 1.5g; 부피 1mL)를 온도 조절기(Hanyong Nux. co. Ltd)가 장착된 전기 퍼니스(electric furnace)로 가열하였다. 가열 및 냉각 속도는 5 ℃/min으로 유지하였다.
원하는 반응이 일어나기 전, 25% H2/75%N2 를 750 ℃에서 3시간 200 sccm으로 흐름 속도로 흘려서 해당 촉매를 인 시츄로 환원하였다. 반응기는 이후 N2로 30분간 플러쉬(flush)하였고, 메탄, 이산화탄소, 질소의 혼합물인 반응 가스(전체 흐름 속도 200 sccm)에 노출시켰다. 상세한 개질 조건은 다음과 같다:
- GHSV (gas hourly space velocity): 12,000 /h
- CH4:CO2:N2 비율 (sccm) = 50:50:100 (sccm)
- 연속적 펠렛화를 수반한 체걸음(sieving with consecutive pelletizing)을 통해 얻어진 촉매 입자 사이즈(catalyst particle size): 250-500㎛
유입 가스 흐름 율(flow rate)은 매스 플로우 콘트롤러(MFC; TSC-110, MKP)로 조절하였다.
한편, 생성 가스 중의 스팀을 5℃의 응축기에서 제거하였고, 이어서 생성 가스 혼합물을 온라인 가스 크로마토그라피(Agilent 7890A)로 분석하였다. 참고로, 상기 온라인 가스 크로마토그라피는 두 개의 모세관 칼럼(capillary column)[PorapakQ and molecular sieve] 및 두 개의 열전도 검출기(thermal conductivity detectors; TCD)가 장착된 것이다.
Ni/YSZ (비교예) 및 Pd- Ni/YSZ (실시예) 촉매의 건식 개질 활성을 평가하기 위하여, 600℃ 내지 800℃ 온도 범위에서의 바이오 가스 건식 개질(메탄 건식 개질) 반응을 수행하였다. 참고로, 해당 반응식은 다음과 같다.
CH4 + CO2 <-> 2H2 + 2CO (1)
CH4 <-> C + 2H2 (2)
C + CO2 <-> 2CO (3)
H2 + CO2 <-> H2O + CO (4)
도 5는 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)의 촉매를 이용한 건식 개질에서 메탄 및 이산화탄소 전환율을 나타내는 그래프이다. 도 5에서 X축은 온도(단위: ℃)이고, Y축은 전환율(단위: %)이다. 앞서 설명한 것처럼, 해당 건식 개질 시 GHSV (gas hourly space velocity)는 12,000 /h 이고, CH4:CO2:N2 비율 (sccm) 은 50:50:100 (sccm)이다.
도 5에 도시된 바와 같이, 비교예(Ni/YSZ) 및 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 촉매 성능은 600℃ 내지 700℃ 온도에서는 유사하며, 약 30% 미만의 전환율을 보여주었다.
그러나, 750℃ 이상에서 얻어진 이산화탄소 및 메탄 전환율은 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)의 경우가 비교예(Ni/YSZ) 보다 현저히 높았다. 특히, 800℃에서 실시예 촉매는 비교예 대비 20% 높은 메탄 전환율을 보여주었다. 마찬가지로, 750℃ 이상에서 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)는 비교예(Ni/YSZ)와 대비하여 향상된 이산화탄소 전환율을 보여주었다.
이로부터 메탄 크랙킹(methane cracking)과 탄소 제거(carbon removal)(이는 메탄 건식 개질에 필수적인 요소들이다)의 현저한 상승을 위하여, 높은 온도(750℃ 이상, 특히 800℃ 이상)가 필요한 것을 알 수 있다.
또한, YSZ 표면에서 Ni과 합금화한 Pd는 크래킹된 탄소의 산화를 촉진하고 메탄 활성화를 가속화하는 역할을 하는 것을 알 수 있다.
이를 확인하고자, 인 시츄(in-situ) TGA 실험을 수행하여 메탄과 질소 밸런스 가스를 이산화탄소 없이 공급하는 경우의 탄소 침적 과정을 10시간 동안 연속적으로 모니터링하였다.
도 6은 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)의 촉매를 이용하여 10시간 동안 탄소 침적 과정을 모니터링한 것이다. 도 6에서 X축은 시간(단위: hour)이고, 왼쪽 Y축은 탄소 침적(carbon deposit)[단위: g/g cat.]을 나타낸다. 도 6의 아래 쪽 그래프가 비교예(Ni/YSZ)이고, 위쪽 그래프가 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)이다.
도 6에 도시된 결과는 도 5의 결과와 부합하며, 동일 조건에서 750℃ 2 시간 동안 얻어진 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)의 초기 탄소 침적 양은 비교예(Ni/YSZ)와 대비하여 5배 높았다.
한편, 별도의 실험을 통해 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)의 촉매를 100℃ 내지 900℃ 온도에서 CH4 / N2 가스를 이용한 CH4 크랙킹의 촉매로서 사용하였다. 냉각 동안 N2로 퍼징한 후 CO2 / N2에 의하여 연속하여 형성된 탄소 침적물을 산화시켰다.
도 7은 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)의 촉매를 이용하여 연속적인 이산화탄소 산화와 함께 메탄 크랙킹 할 때의 TGA 분석 결과를 나타내는 그래프이다. 도 7에서 X축은 시간(단위: minute)이고, 왼쪽 Y축은 탄소 침적(carbon deposit)[단위: g/g cat.]을 나타내고, 오른쪽 Y축은 온도(단위: ℃)를 나타낸다.
도 7에서도 알 수 있듯이, CH4 크랙킹의 정도는 온도에 의존하는 것이 재확인되었다. CH4 분해 정도는 특히 750℃ 이상에서 현저한 차이를 나타내었다. 더욱이, CO2를 이용한 탄소 제거와 이어지는 900℃ 까지의 코킹에서 Pd-Ni/YSZ 실시예는 향상된 침적(deposited) 탄소 산화 율을 보여주었다. (도 7의 "CO2+N2" 부분 참조).
또한, 실시예의 Pd-Ni/YSZ의 탄소 제거율 (3.87 mg/gcat·K)은 비교예인 Ni/YSZ와 비교하여 21% 더 빠른 결과를 보여주었다. 이러한 결과는 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서 합금된 Pd 나노 입자가 CH4 크랙킹과 CO2를 매개로 한 탄소 산화( mediated carbon oxidation) 모두를 촉진하는 것을 보여준다. 이는 향상된 촉매 활성 뿐만 아니라 향상된 내구성을 제공하는 것이다.
활성에 대한 Pd-Ni 합금화의 전기적 영향을 더 상세히 밝히고자, XPS 연구를 추가적으로 수행하였다.
도 8은 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)의 XPS 스펙트라(Ni 2p)를 나타낸다. 도 8의 아래쪽 그래프는 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)를 표시하고, 위쪽 그래프는 비교예(Ni/YSZ)를 표시한다.
비교예 및 실시예를 사용하여 얻어진 스펙트라(spectra)는 850-870eV, 870-890eV 각각에서 Ni 2p3/2, Ni 2p1/2에 대응하는 넓은 피크를 보여주었다.
비교예(Ni/YSZ)와 대비하여, 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)의 Ni 2p3/2 피크는 서로 다른 상대적 양을 가지는 세 개의 종(species)[Ni0, Ni2+, 및 위성 피크(satellite peak)]으로 디콘볼루션(deconvolution)하였다. 이러한 종들 중, Ni0, Ni2+은 메탄 건식 개질을 위한 활성을 예측하는데 특히 중요하다.
Ni0 종은 초기 메탄 크랙킹에 큰 영향을 미치므로 Ni0 / Ni2+의 높은 비율은 높은 활성을 제공할 수 있다. 표 1은 XPS 결과 값을 정리한 표이다.

표 1로부터 알 수 있듯이, 실시예의 Pd-Ni/YSZ는 비교예의 Ni/YSZ와 대비하여 Ni0 피크에 해당하는 면적이 13%로 상승하였음을 알 수 있다. 또한, 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)의 Ni0 에 대한 바인딩 에너지(binding energy)는 비교예(Ni/YSZ)와 대비하여 약간 감소하였다[실시예: 852.7eV / 비교예: 853.1 eV].
이러한 결과는 도핑된 Pd 나노 입자의 전자 밀도가 합금 시 Ni 측으로 이전하여 Ni 사이트에서 더욱 환원된 상태를 만드는 것을 보여준다.
Pd-Ni/YSZ에서 Ni 및 Pd 사이의 d-오비탈 혼성화를 가전자 X-ray 광전 스펙트로스코피(Valence X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy)를 이용하여 더 모니터 링하였다. 이는 가전자 d 오비탈(valence d-orbital)에 관한 정보를 제공한다.
도 9는 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)의 Ni에 대한 가전자 XPS 스펙트라(Valence XPS spectra)를 나타낸다. 도 9의 X축은 바인딩 에너지(eV)이고, Y축은 강도(단위: 임의 단위)를 나타낸다.
도 9에 도시되어 있듯이, 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)의 d-밴드 센터는 낮은 에너지 측으로 약간 이동하였다. 이 결과는 XPS에 의하여 얻어진 결과(도 8)와 일치하며, Pd에서 Ni로의 전하 이동(charge transfer)을 뒷받침한다. 건식 개질 동안 이와 같은 Pd-Ni/YSZ에서의 Ni 산화에 대한 증가된 저항성에 의하여 메탄을 사용한 건식 개질 활성이 향상될 수 있다.
수소 생산과 함께, Ni 활성 사이트(Ni active site)에서의 메탄 활성화(CH4 activation)는 초기에 탄소 시드[carbon seed(C*)]를 생산하고, 해당 탄소 시드(C*)는 상호 더 반응하여 최종적으로 탄소-탄소 네트 워크(carbon-carbon network)[예컨대, 탄소 필라멘트(carbon filament)]를 형성하고, 이는 촉매의 현저한 비활성화(deactivation)를 야기한다.
따라서, 첨가된 CO2의 역할은 C-C 본드를 가지는 다른 탄소 종 및/또는 탄소 시드와 같은 침착된 탄소 종들과 반응하여 촉매 열화(catalytic deterioration)를 방지하는데 도움을 주는 CO를 생산하는 것이다.
Ni/YSZ 촉매 표면에서의 탄소 성장률(C* + C* -> C* - C*)은 탄소 제거율(C* + O -> C-O)보다 더 빠르고, 이어서 해당 Ni/YSZ 촉매는 빠르게 비활성화(deactivated)된다. 참고로, C*는 표면에 침착된 탄소 종들을 나타내고 C는 촉매 표면에 존재하거나 가스 상태인 탄소 종들을 나타낸다.
한편, 본 실시예에서 탄소 성장과 탄소 제거에 대한 Pd의 효과를 파악하고자, Ni(111) 및 Pd-Ni(111) 표면을 각각 생성하여 DFT (Density Functional Theory) 방법을 수행하였다.
도 10은 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)의 C-C 본드 형성 에너지를 보여주는 그래프이고, 도 11은 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)의 C-O 본드 형성 에너지를 보여주는 그래프이다. 또한, 도 12는 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)에서 니켈[Ni(111)]에 Pd가 합금화되는 것을 나타내는 개략도이다.
한편, 도 13은 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)[도 13a] 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ)[도 13b]의 탄소 제거(carbon removal) 및 탄소 성장(carbon growth)의 가능한 반응 과정을 나타내는 것이다. 도 13에서 실선은 DFT 방법에 기초하여 제안된 바람직한 경로를 나타내고, 점선은 상기 제안된 경로부터 연장된 가능한 경로를 나타낸다.
아래 표 2는 Ni(111) 및 Pd/Ni(111)에서의 반응에 따른 에너지를 정리한 것이다.

도 10 및 상기 표 2에 나타나 있듯이, Ni (111)은 탄소 성장을 위한 0.96Ev의 활성화 에너지(Ea)를 나타내는 반면, Pd-Ni (111)은 1.82eV의 키네틱 배리어(kinetic barrier)를 나타낸다.
또한, Ni (111) 상의 C-C 형성을 위한 반응 에너지(△E)는 -0.53eV로 계산되었고, 이는 Pd-Ni (111)을 가지는 경우보다 3배 이상 안정한 것이다.
따라서, 열역학적 및 운동역학적으로(kinetically) Pd-Ni (111) 상에서 보다 Ni(111) 상에서의 C-C 형성이 더욱 선호되는 것이다.
반면, 열역학적 및 운동학적 측면에서 두 가지 촉매에서 C-O 형성을 위한 에너지는 거의 같은 것으로 예측되었다(도 11 참조). 즉, C-O 본드의 형성을 위하여 비교예인 Ni/YSZ 보다 실시예인 Pd-Ni/YSZ가 0.03eV 높은 배리어를 가지지만 약간 덜 안정한 것으로 계산된다. 이러한 결과는 비록 향상된 활성 때문에 증가된 양의 탄소 시드가 Pd-Ni/YSZ의 존재하에 생성되지만, Ni 사이트에서 합금화하는 Pd가 탄소 산화를 촉진하기 보다는 탄소 성장을 억제함으로써 내구성을 향상하는 것을 의미한다.
달리 말하면, Ni/YSZ는 CO 에 의하여 제거되기 어려운 현저한 C-C 네트 워크의 형성을 유도하는 것인 반면, Pd-Ni/YSZ는 생성된 탄소 시드로부터 많은 양의 C-C 본드를 보유하는 탄소 침적 형성을 억제하는 것이다(도 13 참조).
장기 안정성(Long-term durability) 평가
장기 안정성을 평가하기 위하여, 실시예 및 비교예의 두 가지 촉매에 대하여 다음 조건을 사용하여 100시간 동안 메탄 건식 개질을 수행하였다:
- 작동 온도(operating temperature): 750℃
- GHSV (gas hourly space velocity): 12,000 /h
- 촉매 체적(catalyst volume): 1mL
- CH4:CO2:N2 비율 (sccm) = 50:50:100 (sccm)
도 14는 본 발명의 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ) 및 비교예(Ni/YSZ) 촉매를 이용한 메탄 건식 개질에 대한 장기 안정성(long-term stability) 테스트 결과를 보여주는 그래프이다. 도 14에서 X축은 시간(단위: hr)이고, Y축은 전환율(Concentration; 전환 정도를 1을 기준으로 표시한 것)(단위: 없음)이다.
도 14에 도시된 바와 같이, 실시예의 Pd-Ni/YSZ는 100시간 동안 열화율(degradation rate)이 0.021%/h로 무시할 만한 수준의 촉매 비활성화(catalyst deactivation)를 보여준 반면, 비교예의 Ni/YSZ는 100 시간 동안 열화율(degradation rate) 0.19%/h의 연속적인 비활성화(deactivation)를 보여주었다. 더욱이, Pd-Ni/YSZ는 오히려 증가된 CH4 및 CO2 전환율을 보여주었다.
한편, 장기 실험(long-term experiments)을 수행하면서, 개질 반응 동안 생성된 탄소 침적(carbon deposit) 양을 정량하기 위하여, 사용된 촉매를 이용하여 온도 제어 산화(temperature programmed oxidation: TPO)를 수행하였다.
도 15는 장기 안정성 테스트 수행을 위하여, 사용 촉매에 대해 온도 조절 산화(temperature-programmed oxidation)를 수행한 결과를 나타낸다. 도 15의 X축은 온도(단위:)이고, Y축은 강도(단위: 임의 단위)이다. 도 15에서 비교예(Ni/YSZ)는 실선으로 표시되어 있고, 실시예(Pd-Ni/YSZ)는 점선으로 표시되어 있다.
한편, 표 3은 TPO 프로파일에서 최대값(maxima)을 가지는 피크들을 정리한 것이다.

도 15 및 표 3으로부터 알 수 있듯이, 실시예인 Pd-Ni/YSZ의 TPO 프로파일은 565℃ 및 652℃에 중심을 둔 두 개의 넓은 피크를 보여주었다.
이는 비정질 탄소(amorphous carbon) 및 그라파이트 탄소(graphitic carbon)와 같은 적어도 두 가지의 다른 탄소 함유 종(carbon-containing species)이 존재하는 것을 보여주는 것이다. 유사하게, 비교예의 Ni/YSZ는 612℃ 및 694℃에 중심을 둔 두 개의 넓은 피크를 보여주었다. 그러나, Ni/YSZ의 경우 694℃ 보다 높은 온도에서 나타난 TPO 피크가 Pd-Ni/YSZ에 걸쳐서 지배적인 것으로 보인다.
더욱이, 비교예인 Ni/YSZ로 얻어진 탄소 침적의 총 양은 실시예의 Pd-Ni/YSZ로 얻어진 탄소 침적의 총 양보다 많았다. 이러한 결과는 상대적으로 적은 양의 C-C 본드를 함유하는 생성 탄소 종들이, 많은 C-C 본드의 형성을 유도하는 탄소 성장 전에, 산화에 의하여 빠르게 가스화(gasified)되었음을 의미하며, 이는 DFT (Density Functional Theory) 실험 결과와 일치한다.
이상에서 본 발명의 비제한적이고 예시적인 실시예를 설명하였으나, 본 발명의 기술 사상은 첨부 도면이나 상기 설명 내용에 한정되지 않는다. 본 발명의 기술 사상을 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 다양한 형태의 변형이 가능함이 이 분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게는 자명하며, 또한, 이러한 형태의 변형은 본 발명의 특허청구범위에 속한다고 할 것이다.
본 명세서는 건식 개질 촉매 및 제조방법, 해당 촉매를 이용한 건식 개질 방법에 관한 것이다. 해당 촉매는 연료전지 특히 고체 산화물 연료전지의 건식 개질에 매우 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

Claims (28)

  1. 건식 개질 촉매로서,
    니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 귀금속(M)이 도핑된 것이되, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아(YSZ)의 표면의 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에 귀금속(M)과 니켈의 합금(M-Ni alloy)이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 귀금속(M)은 Pd, Pt, Ru, Rh, Au 또는 Ag인 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 귀금속(M)은 Pd인 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  4. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서의 귀금속-Ni 합금화에 의하여 Ni의 전기적 구조가 변화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  5. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서 귀금속-Ni 합금화 시 귀금속 입자로부터 Ni 측으로 전하 이동(charge transfer)이 일어나는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  6. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서의 귀금속-Ni 합금화는 니켈의 산화 상태(oxidation state)를 환원 상태(reduced state)로 만드는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  7. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서의 귀금속-Ni 합금화는 니켈의 산화(oxidation)에 대한 저항성을 증가시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  8. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서의 귀금속-Ni 합금화는 탄소 성장 또는 탄소 침적 형성을 억제하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  9. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서 합금화된 귀금속-니켈 합금(M-Ni alloy)은 CH4 크랙킹(CH4 cracking)과 CO2 매개 탄소 산화(CO2 mediated carbon oxidation)를 모두 촉진하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  10. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에서 합금화된 귀금속-니켈 합금(M-Ni alloy)은 크랙킹된 탄소의 산화를 촉진하고 메탄 활성화를 촉진하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  11. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 촉매는 750℃ 이상의 온도에서의 건식 개질에 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  12. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 촉매는 800℃ 이상의 온도에서의 건식 개질에 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  13. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 촉매는 750~900℃ 또는 800~900℃ 온도에서의 건식 개질에 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  14. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 촉매는 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아(Ni/YSZ)의 건식 개질 성능 및 장기 안정성을 향상하기 위한 건식 개질 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  15. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 촉매는 120시간 이상 운전 후 초기 활성을 유지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  16. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 촉매는 고체 산화물 연료전지의 건식 개질 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매.
  17. 제 1 항 내지 제 16 중 어느 한 항의 건식 개질 촉매를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고체 산화물 연료전지.
  18. 제 17 항에 있어서,
    상기 촉매는 고체 산화물 연료전지의 연료극 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 고체 산화물 연료전지.
  19. 글루코스에 담지된 귀금속 전구체(M/glucose; M은 귀금속)를 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)와 혼합하고 열처리하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매 제조 방법.
  20. 제 19 항에 있어서,
    글루코스에 담지된 귀금속 전구체를 제공하는 단계;
    상기 글루코스에 담지된 귀금속 전구체(M/glucose) 및 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)를 용매에서 혼합하고 교반하는 단계; 및
    혼합 용액을 필터링 한 후 환원 분위기에서 열처리하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매 제조 방법.
  21. 제 20 항에 있어서,
    귀금속 입자를 플라즈마 증착법(PVD)을 통해 담지체인 글루코스에 증착하여 글루코스에 담지된 귀금속 전구체를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매 제조 방법.
  22. 제 20 항에 있어서,
    상기 글루코스에 담지된 귀금속 전구체(M/glucose)는 전체 건식 개질 촉매 중 0 중량% 초과 5 중량% 이하로 함유되는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매 제조 방법.
  23. 제 20 항에 있어서,
    상기 글루코스에 담지된 귀금속 전구체(M/glucose)에서 글루코스 중 귀금속의 농도는 500~5000ppm인 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매 제조 방법.
  24. 제 20 항에 있어서,
    상기 환원 분위기에서 열처리는 건식 개질 시 인시츄로 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 촉매 제조 방법.
  25. 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아(Ni/YSZ) 촉매의 건식 개질 성능 및 장기 안정성 향상 방법으로서,
    니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 귀금속(M)이 도핑된 것이되, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아(YSZ)의 표면의 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에 귀금속(M)과 니켈의 합금(M-Ni alloy)을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈 이트리아안정화 지르코니아(Ni/YSZ) 촉매의 건식 개질 성능 및 장기 안정성 향상 방법.
  26. 건식 개질 방법으로서,
    니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아 복합체(Ni/YSZ)에 귀금속(M)이 도핑된 것이되, 니켈 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아(YSZ)의 표면의 니켈 사이트(Ni sites)에 귀금속(M)과 니켈의 합금(M-Ni alloy)이 형성된 촉매를 이용하여 건식 개질을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 방법.
  27. 제 26 항에 있어서,
    상기 건식 개질은 750~900℃ 또는 800~900℃ 온도에서 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 방법.
  28. 제 26 항에 있어서,
    상기 건식 개질 방법은 상기 촉매를 고체산화물 연료전지에 장착하고 750~900℃ 또는 800~900℃ 온도에서 운전하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 개질 방법.
