Abstract
Description
ここで、「情報部分」とは、個々人の、例えば、所属、氏名や、シリアルナンバー等の文字部分を意味する。これら、所属、氏名、シリアルナンバー等で、個人を識別することができるものである。
高周波誘電加熱により装飾片を製造する場合、高周波誘電加熱用の一方の電極たる金型台(特許文献1では下部電極16’)と、高周波誘電加熱用の他方の電極たる彫金型(特許文献1では上部電極16)とを用いる。
前記彫金型は、溶断刃(特許文献1では刃部17)と押圧刃(特許文献1では突出部14’)とを有する。該溶断刃は、成形すべき模様の外輪郭線に沿った尖鋭刃先を有し、模様片の材料たる熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムを溶断する。一方、前記押圧刃の刃先は、前記尖鋭刃先が存する水平面よりも上方の面に位置しており、前記溶断刃の尖鋭刃先程鋭くはなく、熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムに立体模様を賦形する。
また、高周波誘電加熱を行うことにより、熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムは溶融し、下層と一体となった装飾片が形成される。その後、不要部分を除去し、装飾片が完成する。
尚、製造しようとする装飾片が、熱接着フィルムタイプの装飾片(下層が熱接着性を有する材料よりなり、アイロン等によって衣服等被装着物に熱接着可能なもの)である場合には、成形された下層の下面に離型紙を配しても良く、また、模様片の上面に透明なキャリアフィルムを配しても良い。また、下層材料が布帛等である場合には、下層材料を高周波誘電加熱による溶断ではなく、他の公知手段により切断しても良い。
しかし、大量生産ゆえ、その形状、模様、色彩は同一であり、個々人の識別をすることはできない。近年、これらエンブレム等の装飾片により、個々人の識別を可能にすることが求められている。
(a)高周波誘電加熱の一方の電極たるテーブルの上に、下層材料を載置し、該下層材料の上に、熱可塑性合成樹脂製シート又はフィルムの中間層材料を載置し、該中間層材料の上に、熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムの上層材料を載置し、
(b)高周波誘電加熱の他方の電極たる彫金型であって、エンブレムの輪郭線に沿った溶断刃を有する彫金型で、前記上層材料、中間層材料及び下層材料を押圧し、高周波を発信して誘電加熱を行い、上層材料に模様を賦形し、
(c)不要部分を除去して、中間装飾片を作成し、
(d)前記中間装飾片を治具に嵌め込み、レーザー彫刻機にセットし、
(e)レーザー彫刻機に繋がれたコンピュータで個別情報のデータを作成して、レーザー彫刻機に入力し、
(f)該個別情報データによりレーザー彫刻を行い、個別情報データに従い、情報部分の上層材料を除去し、中間層材料の上面が見えるようにした、ことを特徴とする、個別情報データを有する熱可塑性合成樹脂製エンブレムの製造方法が提供される(請求項1)。
好ましくは、前記上層材料、中間層材料又は下層材料の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムが、軟質である(請求項6)。
本発明により製造されたエンブレムを図1に示す。
図1に示すエンブレムは、説明を単純化するために、楕円形状のシンプルなものとしているが、表面に凹凸を有したり、複雑な形状を有したりすることができることは勿論であり、例えば、前記特許文献4に開示されたような複雑な形状、模様のものとすることができる。
図示実施例においては、全体面13は、説明を単純化するために平面となっているが、表面に凹凸を賦形することができることは勿論である。
全体面13の上部には第一模様部分15が配置される。該第一模様部分15は、「AA Co., Ltd.」と言う文字151が描かれ、該文字は、横長の長方形153に取り囲まれている。
中間部には、第二模様部分17が配置される。該第二模様部分17は、「BB Head Office」と言う文字171が描かれ、該文字は、横長の長方形173に取り囲まれている。
下部には、第三模様部分19が配置される。該第三模様部分19は、「ID No. 1234-5678-90」と言う文字191が描かれ、該文字は、横長の長方形193に取り囲まれている。
第一模様部分15は、会社名であって、複数のエンブレムを製造する場合、各エンブレムでの第一模様部分15は、同じデザインとすることができる。即ち、第一模様部分15は、上述の従来技術を用いて製造することができる。
これに対して、第二模様部分17は、所属を示し、第三模様部分19は、ID No.を示す。第二模様部分17の文字171及び第三模様部分19の文字191は、上記「情報部分」である。第二模様部分17の文字171及び第三模様部分19の文字191は、エンブレム毎により形成する必要があり、大量生産することはできない。即ち、上述の従来技術を用いて製造することはできない。本発明は、かかる「情報部分」を形成するものである。
上層11は、立体的装飾片の表面を美しく見せるための層であって、立体模様が賦形され、また、スクリーン印刷等公知の方法により色彩、模様が印刷される。
中間層21は、立体的装飾片に厚みを持たせると共に情報部分の文字、記号の発色をするための層であり、その上面は、スクリーン印刷等公知の印刷手段により、着色されている。単色であってもよく、複数の色彩を用いても良い。また、着色シートを用いてもよい。
下層31は、エンブレムの基材となる。
上層11の材料11aとしては、この分野において公知の材料を用いることができ、熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムを用いることが可能であり、例えば、ポリ塩化ビニールフィルム、ポリウレタンフィルム、ポリエステルフィルム、ポリオレフィンフィルム等を用いることが可能である。熱可塑性合成樹脂は、軟質であることが好ましい。
このような上層材料は、製造しようとする立体的装飾片により適宜選択する。
中間層21の材料21aは、この分野において公知の材料を用いることができ、熱可塑性合成樹脂を用いることが可能であり、例えば、ポリ塩化ビニールシート、ポリウレタンシート又はフィルムが挙げられる。また、中間層材料は、熱可塑性合成樹脂の発泡体であってもよく、例えば、ポリ塩化ビニール発泡シート、ポリウレタン発泡シート等を用いることが可能であり、製造する立体的装飾片により適宜選択する。熱可塑性合成樹脂は、軟質であることが好ましい。
中間層材料21aであって、上層11と接する面となる面(上面23)は、予めスクリーン印刷等公知の印刷手段により、着色する。中間層材料21aの上面が単色の場合には、着色シート又はフィルムを用いても良い。
下層31の材料31aは、この分野において公知の材料を用いることができる。下層材料31aの例としては、例えば、熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルム、布帛、ホットメルトフィルム、熱可塑性合成樹脂製両面テープが挙げられるが、本発明は、これに限定されない。熱可塑性合成樹脂は、軟質であることが好ましい。
このような下層材料31aは、製造するエンブレムにより適宜選択する。例えば、アイロン等によりエンブレムを加熱をすることにより、被服に装着するタイプのエンブレムを製造する場合には、下層材料としては、ホットメルトフィルムが挙げられる。
上述のように、本発明は、
(a)高周波誘電加熱の一方の電極たるテーブル41の上に、下層材料31aを載置し、該下層材料31aの上に、熱可塑性合成樹脂製シート又はフィルムの中間層材料21aを載置し、該中間層材料21aの上に、熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムの上層材料11aを載置し、
(b)高周波誘電加熱の他方の電極たる彫金型51であって、エンブレムの輪郭線に沿った溶断刃を有する彫金型51で、前記上層材料11a、中間層材料21a及び下層材料31aを押圧し、高周波を発信して誘電加熱を行い、上層材料11aに模様を賦形し、
(c)不要部分を除去して、中間装飾片61を作成し、
(d)前記中間装飾片61を治具に嵌め込み、レーザー彫刻機にセットし、
(e)レーザー彫刻機に繋がれたコンピュータで、個別情報のデータを作成して、レーザー彫刻機に入力し、
(f)該個別情報データによりレーザー彫刻を行い、個別情報データに従い、情報部分の上層材料を除去し、中間層材料が見えるようにした、ことを特徴とする、個別情報データを有する熱可塑性合成樹脂製エンブレムの製造方法である。
この内、(a)~(c)工程は、従来技術と同じであり、(d)~(f)工程が本発明の特徴である。
即ち、(a)~(c)工程において用いられる装置は、高周波誘電加熱の一方の電極たるテーブル41と、高周波誘電加熱の他方の電極たる彫金型51とよりなる。
図4に示したように、彫金型51には、エンブレムの輪郭線に沿った溶断刃53が設けられている。溶断刃53は、材料を溶断する。尚、図示実施例においては、凹凸模様を形成する押圧刃が示されていないが、押圧刃を設けることは可能である。
これらテーブル41と彫金型51とを用いて、(a)~(c)工程を行う。
先ず、コンピュータ(図示せず)をレーザー彫刻機(図示せず)に繋いでおく。コンピュータにより、情報部分のデータを作成し、レーザー彫刻機に入力する。より詳細には、「情報部分のデータ」とは、図示実施例の場合、第二模様部分17、第三模様部分19である。これら情報部分は、エンブレムが装着された被服等を所有する人間の個別情報(識別情報)である。かかる個別情報に対応する形状に、上層の一部分をレーザー彫刻機により切削するデータを、レーザー彫刻機に入力する。
「治具」としては、中間装飾片の位置を固定することができるものであるならば、公知のものを使用することができる。例えば、図6、図7に示したように、治具71は、中間装飾片61の形状に対応した嵌め込み枠板73を有したものとすることができるが、本発明の治具は、これに限定されない。
上述の装置を利用して、エンブレムを製造する。
上層材料11aの上面は、予め、第一の色彩(例えば、金色)に印刷されている。
中間層材料21aは、着色シート又はフィルムであってもよい。或いは、白色若しくは透明シート又はフィルムの上面に、予め、第二の色彩(例えば、黒色)に印刷されている。
尚、図示実施例においては、第二模様部分17の長方形173、第三模様部分の長方形193も、(b)工程において形成することとしているが、本発明はこれに限定されず、(d)~(f)工程により形成することも可能である。
該データは、図示実施例の場合、第二模様部分17の文字171、第三模様部分19の文字191に対応した形状に、上層材料11aの一部分を、レーザー彫刻により除去するためのものである。
図2に示したように、個別情報データに対応する、上層材料11aの部分は、レーザー彫刻により除去され、エンブレムを正面から見た場合、エンブレム全体としては、前記第一の色彩(例えば、金色)として見えるが、個別情報部分においては、中間層21の上面23の色彩(例えば、黒色)が見えることとなる。従って、(a)~(c)工程により、中間装飾片を大量生産することができると共に、個々人を識別することができるデータ(図示実施例の場合には、第二模様部分17の所属と、第三模様部分19のID No.)が示されたエンブレムが提供されることとなる。
Claims (6)
- (a)高周波誘電加熱の一方の電極たるテーブルの上に、下層材料を載置し、該下層材料の上に、熱可塑性合成樹脂製シート又はフィルムの中間層材料を載置し、該中間層材料の上に、熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムの上層材料を載置し、
(b)高周波誘電加熱の他方の電極たる彫金型であって、エンブレムの輪郭線に沿った溶断刃を有する彫金型で、前記上層材料、中間層材料及び下層材料を押圧し、高周波を発信して誘電加熱を行い、上層材料に模様を賦形し、
(c)不要部分を除去して、中間装飾片を作成し、
(d)前記中間装飾片を治具に嵌め込み、レーザー彫刻機にセットし、
(e)レーザー彫刻機に繋がれたコンピュータで個別情報のデータを作成して、レーザー彫刻機に入力し、
(f)該個別情報データによりレーザー彫刻を行い、個別情報データに従った部分の上層材料を除去し、中間層材料の上面が見えるようにした、ことを特徴とする、個別情報データを有する熱可塑性合成樹脂製エンブレムの製造方法。 - 前記中間層材料が、熱可塑性合成樹脂製着色シート又はフィルム、白色の熱可塑性合成樹脂製シート又はフィルムであってスクリーン印刷で着色されたもの、透明の熱可塑性合成樹脂製シート又はフィルムであってスクリーン印刷で着色されたもの、のいずれか1つであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記上層材料の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムが、金属蒸着層を有する、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記中間層材料が、透明のシート又はフィルムであり、前記下層材料が、透光性の材料である、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記下層材料が、熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルム、布帛、ホットメルトフィルム又は熱可塑性合成樹脂製両面テープである、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記上層材料、中間層材料又は下層材料の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムが、軟質である、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
