Definitions
- the present invention relates to a water-conducting household appliance, for example a dishwasher.
- a conventional dishwasher has a plurality of selectable wash programs, which are sensor-controlled, for example by means of an aqua sensor, run through.
- different final temperatures in the individual rinsing baths are set and achieved as a function of the sensorially detected degree of soiling of the rinsing liquor in the dishwasher. It is also possible to select different options for the respective washing program. By choosing different options for the wash program, among other things, the final temperatures of the wash liquor may change.
- Such dishwashers can be operated with different types of cleaner, but in the washing programs, however, the cleaning performance of conventional chemical cleaner is regularly accepted.
- the degree of contamination of the rinsing liquor detected by the sensor is therefore generally closely related to the actual degree of soiling of the ware.
- the selected sensor-controlled wash program is thus controlled according to the actual degree of soiling of the items to be washed.
- Newer types of detergents can, compared to conventional chemical cleaners, chemical substances in a reduced form, essential ingredients do not contain, substitutes or newer agents. Their cleaning performance can thus differ significantly from the conventional chemical cleaner, that is, for example, be significantly reduced. Consequently, the sensory contamination level of the rinsing liquor no longer necessarily permits a conclusion as to the actual degree of soiling of the ware. For example, this can lead to a selected sensor-controlled flushing gram is controlled so that it is tailored to slightly soiled items, although the dishes are actually very dirty.
- DE 100 57 210 A1 describes a method for the automatic control of the rinsing process in a dishwasher with a uniform sensor-controlled rinsing program.
- a preselection of the degree of soiling by the user provides minimum specifications for the rinsing parameters of the rinsing program, which may still be corrected upwards with the aid of a sensor.
- a preselection of the washing program by the user generates minimum specifications for both the rinsing parameters and for the program structure of the selected washing program.
- an object of the present invention is to provide an improved water-conducting household appliance.
- the home appliance includes a number of actuators, a user interface, a sensor, a determination unit, a control unit, and an adaptation unit.
- the number of actuators is set up to perform a plurality of wash programs.
- the user interface is configured to select one of the plurality of flush programs.
- the sensor is set up to provide a sensor signal for indicating a parameter of a rinsing liquor used for rinsing items to be washed.
- the determination unit is configured to determine a sensor setting from a plurality of predetermined sensor settings for the sensor.
- the control unit is set up to control the actuators for carrying out the selected wash program by means of signal processing using the sensor signal, and the matching unit is set up to adjust the signal processing as a function of the determined sensor setting.
- the household appliance is in particular a dishwasher (household dishwasher).
- a dishwasher household dishwasher
- newer types of cleaners which differ significantly in their cleaning performance of conventional cleaners, can be lost in sensor-controlled washing programs usually close relationship between the sensory detected contamination level of the wash liquor and the actual degree of soiling of the dishes.
- this close relationship can also be established when using newer types of cleaner.
- the adapted signal processing makes it possible to correct the contamination level of the wash liquor detected in the sensor signal in accordance with the determined sensor setting before it is processed by the control unit.
- the control unit thus receives information about the actual degree of soiling of the items to be washed, which may for example be higher or lower than it is indicated by the sensor signal.
- the control unit can then control the selected wash program so that a deviating from conventional cleaners cleaning performance, for example on deviating purging parameters such as exposure time or temperature or a different program flow, for example by means of additional flushing phases, is compensated.
- the user interface is optionally fixed to the household appliance or spaced from it.
- it can also work on a mobile device such as a mobile device
- the user interface is preferably implemented with a number of operating elements and a number of display elements.
- controls in particular manually operated, acoustic or optical input options can be provided, such as buttons, switches, controls, speech and gesture recognition.
- the display elements are preferably designed as visual or audible output options, for example as scale display, screen or voice output, and set up to give the user feedback about the status of his input.
- the determination unit is preferably connected on the output side to the adaptation unit.
- the particular sensor setting is thus an input parameter of the matching unit.
- the adaptation unit is preferably coupled on the input side with the determination unit and with the control unit.
- the adaptation unit for example, converts the sensor setting determined by the determination unit into an adaptation variable which is used to adapt the signal processing and, in embodiments, is an input parameter of the control unit.
- the signal processing adapted by the adaptation unit can have a particular effect on all sensor-triggered program decisions within a program, on selected program decisions within a program, only on the program or for all programs. It can be retained until the next determination of a sensor setting or, alternatively, reset to an initial state after the end of the selected wash program.
- the sensor is preferably mounted in the washing container or in another washing liquor-carrying element of the household appliance in such a way that it can provide a sensor signal for indicating a parameter of the washing liquor in contact with the washing liquor.
- the sensor On the output side, the sensor is connected to the control unit.
- the control unit is preferably connected on the input side with the adaptation unit and the user interface and on the output side with the number of actuators. Furthermore, the control unit is set up to receive and process the sensor signal provided by the sensor.
- the number of actuators is preferably provided in or on the washing container. On the input side, the number of actuators is coupled to the control unit.
- sensor setting designates a specification for modifying a sensor signal and / or its associated threshold value, so that a meaningful comparison between the sensor signal and its threshold value is possible for the execution of a selected sensor-controlled rinsing program.
- the user interface has a first operating unit for selecting the washing program from the plurality of washing programs and a second operating unit for selecting the sensor setting from the plurality of the predetermined ones Sensor settings for the sensor on. Both operating units are preferably formed in the form already described above.
- the determination unit is formed in this embodiment in particular by the second operating unit of the user interface.
- the sensor setting can preferably be selected in steps starting from an initial state defined as "normal.” Alternatively, however, a stepless selection can also be made.
- the household appliance additionally has a determination unit for determining a type of cleaner of a cleaner used for rinsing the items to be washed.
- the determination unit is preferably connected on the output side to the determination unit and / or to the adaptation unit.
- the determination unit is in particular an additional element of the household appliance, which is set up to automatically determine the type of cleaner used. With a detection unit set up to automatically determine the type of cleaner used, it is possible to keep the user interface simple despite increasing device complexity.
- the determination unit can also be a further control element of the user interface parts.
- an operating unit designed as a detection unit is the
- Type of cleaner starting from an initial state defined as "normal”, preferably selectable in stages.
- the determining unit is adapted to the type of cleaner depending on a used in the household appliance
- This embodiment is particularly suitable for household appliances with an automated dosing system.
- the determination unit is for automatically determining the used
- the type of cleaner can be in the form of the
- NFC near field communication
- RFID Radio Frequency Identification
- the determination unit is configured to automatically determine the sensor setting from the plurality of the predetermined sensor settings as a function of the determined type of cleaner.
- the determination unit is preferably designed as an additional element of the household appliance, which is set up to automatically determine the sensor setting. This makes it possible, in particular, to simplify the user interface and at the same time to improve the cleaning performance.
- the adaptation unit is adapted to adapt the signal processing as a function of the determined sensor setting and of the determined type of cleaner.
- the adaptation unit according to this embodiment has the advantage of automating the operation of the household appliance to the extent that in addition to the choice of the wash program no further adjustment is required to perform the selected wash program ("zero-touch", "hands-free”).
- the senor is adapted to provide the sensor signal such that it is an indication of a turbidity of the rinsing liquor, an indication of a particle number of particles in the rinsing liquor, an indication of a Particle size of the particles in the wash liquor and / or an indication of a pressure in the wash liquor.
- the sensor which controls the course of the washing program is preferably designed as an optical sensor (aqua sensor), but may alternatively also be based on other measuring principles which can be used to determine the turbidity of the washing liquor, ie its degree of soiling. For example, it is possible to compare the pressure developed by a circulating pump with reference pressure values and thus to obtain an indication of the degree of soiling in the washing liquor.
- the adaptation unit is configured to determine a sensor signal-dependent adaptation variable for the sensor signal and to adapt the sensor signal provided by the sensor by means of the specific adaptation variable.
- the adaptation unit is connected on the input side to the sensor and the determination unit. It is furthermore configured to convert the sensor setting determined by the determination unit into an adaptation variable for the sensor signal provided by the sensor. The sensor signal adapted in accordance with the determined sensor setting is supplied to the control unit together with the associated unchanged threshold value on the output side.

- control unit is coupled on the input side to the adaptation unit and is configured to receive the adapted sensor signal together with the unchanged threshold value.
- the adaptation unit is set up to determine an adaptation variable for the sensor signal which is dependent on the sensor setting and to adapt at least one threshold value for the sensor signal by means of the specific adaptation variable.
