Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet de fournir un composite qui comprend un substrat de verre comportant des microfissures formées sur une de ses surfaces, le substrat de verre ne pouvant pas se rompre lors de la réception d'une contrainte de traction. Dans le composite, la résine d'une couche de résine s'infiltre dans au moins une partie de chaque microfissure, le produit du rapport de la profondeur (df) de la résine infiltrée depuis la surface du substrat de verre jusqu'à la profondeur (d) des microfissures, l'allongement à la rupture, TE (%), de la couche résineuse et la limite d'écoulement, σs (MPa), de la couche résineuse étant égal ou supérieur à 400 MPa·% et la couche résineuse présentant un module d'élasticité égal ou supérieur à 1,0 GPa.
