Therefore, the exit surface can be protected from scratches, dirt, and the like, and light can be prevented from entering the optical fiber cable. Furthermore, the shutter covers the exit surface of the optical fiber cable, so that collimated light emitted from the exit surface of the optical fiber cable is incident on the surrounding human eyeball, which adversely affects visual functions and the like. Can be prevented.
- the shutter when a shutter that covers the laser light emission surface is provided, the shutter may not be in the closed position due to shutter wear or the like, or the shutter may be in the open position for cleaning or the like. - the lens may convert the optical signal into a light signal having a predetermined divergence angle at a position separated by a predetermined distance by condensing the optical signal at a position closer to the lens than the predetermined distance.
- an optical transmission path or light source for emitting the optical signal to the lens is held at a position where the optical signal emitted from the lens has a predetermined divergence angle.
- the optical transmission path or the light source is held at a position where the output position of the optical signal is different from the focal position of the lens.
- the second aspect of this technology is A lens that converts the optical signal from the end face of the optical fiber cable into a predetermined divergence angle and emits it;
- the optical fiber cable and the lens are fixed together and a housing is attached to the optical signal receiving connector.
- the third aspect of this technology is An optical signal output unit; A lens that converts an optical signal from the optical signal output unit into a predetermined divergence angle and emits it;
- An optical communication apparatus comprising: a housing to which the lens is fixed and the optical signal receiving connector is mounted.
- a lens that converts an optical signal from an optical transmission line or a light source into light having a predetermined divergence angle, and a housing that is fixed to the optical signal and that is attached to the optical signal receiving side optical connector are provided. - the plug 36 that converts the optical signal from the optical fiber cable 20 into collimated light using the collimating lens 361 and emits the light has a small amount of attenuation of light intensity according to the distance. Therefore, even when the light emitted from the plug 36 is viewed at a position away from the plug 36, the amount of light entering the eye is large, which may adversely affect the eye.
- the optical signal from the optical fiber cable 20 is converted into a predetermined divergence angle by the lens 311, the optical signal is dispersed at a position away from the plug 31. That is, the plug housing 315 has a position where the exit surface 20a of the optical fiber cable 20 is different from the focal position of the lens 311. For example, when a convex lens is used as the lens 311, the exit surface 20a is closer to the lens side than the focal position of the lens 311. Position.
- the optical signal from the optical fiber cable 20 is converted into an optical signal having a divergence angle. Therefore, when the light emitted from the plug 31 is visually observed at a position away from the plug 31, the light signal is dispersed, so that the amount of light entering the eye is reduced and adverse effects can be prevented.

- the optical signal from the optical fiber cable is converted into a predetermined divergence angle, for example, a divergence angle of 10 degrees or more, and is emitted, so that the optical signal can be viewed even when the optical signal emission surface is exposed. It is possible to prevent an adverse effect from entering. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a shutter that blocks the optical signal.
- a predetermined divergence angle for example, a divergence angle of 10 degrees or more
- FIG. 6 illustrates a case where an error occurs in the attachment of the plug 31 and the receptacle 32.
- the position of the lens 321 indicated by a broken line indicates a correct lens position
- the position of the lens 321 indicated by a solid line indicates a lens position where an error has occurred.
- the predetermined divergence angle is set to an angle in which the amount of decrease in the light amount of the optical signal received by the receptacle 32 is equal to or less than a preset light amount within the attachment allowable error range when the plug 31 and the receptacle 32 are attached.
- the lens 311 converts the optical signal so that the divergence angle is 10 degrees or more and 20 degrees or less.
- the optical signal is converted into a predetermined divergence angle, for example, 10 degrees or more and 20 degrees or less by the lens 311 and emitted. For this reason, when the plug 31 is attached to the receptacle 32 as shown in FIG. 7, even if an attachment error occurs, the beam diameter of the optical signal emitted from the plug 31 does not become too large and the lens 321 of the receptacle 32 is attached. It can be made incident. Therefore, optical communication can be performed stably and satisfactorily.
- movement of an optical connector is an illustration, Comprising: Not only the above-mentioned effect but another effect may be acquired.
- the optical signal emitted from the plug 31 is not limited to the configuration in which the optical signal is diverged and emitted from the plug 31 as in the first operation described above as long as the optical signal is diverged at the viewing position.
- the light emitted from the plug 31 is condensed at a position close to the lens 311 to form an optical signal having a predetermined divergence angle at a predetermined distance.
- FIG. 8 is a diagram for explaining a second operation of the optical connector.
- the optical signal emitted from the lens 311 of the plug 31 is condensed at a position Pa close to the lens 311. That is, the plug housing 315 has a position where the exit surface 20 a of the optical fiber cable 20 is different from the focal position of the lens 311, for example, when a convex lens is used as the lens 311, Set it apart. In this way, if the optical fiber cable 20 and the lens 311 are fixed and held, the optical signal emitted from the lens 311 is dispersed at a position farther from the position Pa than the distance Lc from the lens 311 to the position Pa. Light.
- the optical signal emitted from the lens 311 is condensed at a position closer than the predetermined distance so that the light amount of the predetermined region at a position separated by the predetermined distance becomes divergent light that is equal to or smaller than the preset light amount.
- the optical signal is dispersed, so that the amount of light entering the eye is reduced and adverse effects can be prevented.
- the optical signal is condensed at a close position, if the condensing position is farther from the lens 321 of the receptacle 32, the first error may occur even if an attachment error occurs when the plug 31 is attached to the receptacle 32.
- the divergence of the optical signal can be reduced compared with the operation.

(La×Sin(a/2))×2=BMa ・・・(1)
