Definitions
- the present invention relates to a silanol compound, a composition, and a method for producing the silanol compound, and more particularly, a silanol compound useful as a raw material for a siloxane compound used in a wide range of fields such as automobiles, architecture, electronics, and medicine, and the production thereof. Regarding the method.
- Siloxane compounds are very important compounds that are used in a wide range of fields such as automobiles, architecture, electronics, and medicine because of their unique properties. In recent years, it is indispensable in the environment and energy fields, such as LED sealing materials and eco-tire silane coupling agents, and it is no exaggeration to say that there are no fields that do not use siloxane compounds (2009 market scale: 115 100 million dollars, production: 1.23 million tons per year
- siloxane compounds are generally synthesized via a silanol compound by hydrolysis such as a sol-gel method using chlorosilane or alkoxysilane as a raw material.
- This silanol compound (including silane diol, silane triol, and silane tetraol) condenses simultaneously with hydrolysis in the presence of water, except for some silane diols and silane triols having bulky substituents such as phenyl groups. Therefore, it is difficult to synthesize with good yield. Further, its stability (stability in the presence of water) is extremely low, and it is known that condensation occurs quickly (Non-Patent Documents 2 and 3).
- Non-patent Document 1 a method of obtaining a silanol compound by allowing n-BuLi to act on a silyl ether of pyrrolidine is known (Non-patent Document 1).
- this method is not a reaction originally intended to synthesize a siloxane compound. Even if a siloxane compound is synthesized, the siloxane bond is cleaved nucleophilically by n-BuLi. It is difficult to synthesize.
- Non-patent Document 7 Kuroda et al. Have reported that a siloxane bond can be formed with the elimination of alkyl chloride by reacting the following alkoxysilane and chlorosilane in the presence of a bismuth chloride catalyst. However, in this reaction, since the substrate is limited to a small part, it is difficult to say that the method is suitable for industrialization.
- Non-Patent Documents 4 to 7 all use a homogeneous catalyst, there is a problem that it is not easy to remove from the reaction system after the reaction and remains in the resulting product. is there.
- silanol compounds can be synthesized in high yields, except for some silane diols and silane triols that have bulky substituents such as phenyl groups, and in the presence of water, condensation occurs simultaneously with hydrolysis. It was difficult.

Abstract
