Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'application de motifs en couleur ou de composantes de couleur sur au moins un peigné en poils et/ou fibres assemblés de manière lâche, à l'orientation de préférence sensiblement parallèle ou filés les uns avec les autres à la manière d'un fil. Au moyen d'un dispositif d'application de couleur qui fonctionne sans contact, au moins une couleur, en règle générale plusieurs couleurs, est (sont) appliquée(s) sous la forme de composantes de couleur sur l'endroit d'un peigné. Le peigné est déplacé par rapport au dispositif de teinture au moyen d'un dispositif de transport. Selon l'invention, 1. le peigné extrait de préférence d'un pot rotatif traverse le dispositif d'application de couleur, en position allongée sur le dispositif de transport, ses poils et/ou fibres étant parallèles au ruban peigné, 2. la/les couleur(s) est (sont) appliquée(s) sur le peigné par le dispositif d'application de couleur selon une profondeur d'impression de préférence réglable, 3. après le dispositif d'application de couleur, les composantes de couleur sont réparties vers l'envers du peigné transversalement au sens de déplacement du peigné, au moyen d'un dispositif d'aspiration équipé d'une soufflante à air chaud, 4. après la ligne de préfixage ou de fixage, le peigné au moins préfixé est posé, au moyen d'un plieur ou en boucles alternées, sur une bande de transport de vaporiseur qui passe ensuite dans une enveloppe de vaporiseur, 5. la durée de passage de la bande de transport de vaporiseur est réglable, de préférence à vitesse d'impression constante, afin de réguler la durée de vaporisage. L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif permettant la mise en œuvre de ce procédé.
