Abstract

【課題】本発明は、混合回路を備えるプラズマ発生装置において小型化を実現し、エンジン内の限られた空間に容易に設置できるようなプラズマ発生装置を供給することであり、放電電圧を供給するための点火コイルと、電磁波を発振する電磁波発振器と、放電のためのエネルギと電磁波のエネルギとを混合する混合器と、放電を起こし、かつ電磁波のエネルギを前記反応領域に導入する点火プラグとを備えた熱機関又はプラズマ装置において、燃焼反応又はプラズマ反応が行われる反応領域に対し、放電と電磁波のエネルギとを併用して、上記燃焼反応又はプラズマ反応を始動させるプラズマ発生装置であって、上記混合器を形成する部材の一部として、上記点火プラグを構成する部材の一部を用いることを特徴とするプラズマ発生装置である。
