- the present invention relates to a hair dye composition that contains a direct dye and is excellent in color tone at the time of hair dyeing and color tone after fading.
- hair dye compositions containing direct dyes as dyes and used as semi-permanent hair dyes are known.
- an oxidative hair dye as a permanent hair dye that allows an oxidative dye to penetrate into the hair cuticle by the action of an alkali agent and causes the oxidant to decompose melanin pigments and color the dye.
- a hair dye composition containing a direct dye the hair is dyed by dyeing the dye directly on keratin near the hair surface. Therefore, a semi-permanent hair dye is easy to express the color of hair compared with a permanent hair dye.
- direct dyes have a greater degree of fading than permanent hair dyes.
- the degree of fading increases depending on the type or combination of direct dyes.
- the color tone after fading may be significantly different from the color tone at the time of hair dyeing.
- Patent Document 1 a hair dye composition disclosed in Patent Document 1 is known.
- the hair dye composition of Patent Document 1 uses a specific nonionic surfactant and a water-soluble polymer in combination. Thereby, the hair dye composition of Patent Document 1 improves the hair dyeing power and reduces the change in color tone due to fading.
