Abstract
Description
この乗員の急激な後方移動によって、シートバックフレームに後方荷重が加わったとき、シートバックフレームを構成するサイドフレームが屈曲する構成とし、後方移動時に乗員に加わる衝撃荷重を緩和する技術が種々提案されている(例えば特許文献1)。
この下部フレームは、中央部から左右両端部に向って上下方向に広がる形状からなり、左右両端部の上方部分には、可撓性のくびれ部が形成されている。
このくびれ部は、左右両端部の左右外側の両端からシート内側に水平に延設し、シート内側に向うに従って上方に傾斜し、左右両端部の上端に向って長尺に延設されている。
車両の後面衝突時等、シートに衝撃荷重が加わった際には、このくびれ部が優先的に変形し、くびれ部から左右両端部の上端に向って変形が伝達するように配置されている。
このように、シートバックフレームの変形箇所を限定することにより、シートバックフレーム全体に衝撃エネルギーが伝播することがなくなり、安定して衝撃エネルギーを吸収することができる。
また、特許文献1のような車両用シートでは、衝撃荷重が加わった際に優先的に撓み変形するくびれ部を備えているため、通常使用時においてはシートバックフレームの剛性をさらに向上させた車両用シートが望まれていた。
また、特許文献1の車両用シートのくびれ部は、下部フレームの左右両端部に備えられ、左右外側の両端から左右内側に向って長尺に延設されているため、くびれ部を形成する部分が制限された場合に、くびれ部の延設方向の長さを短くしても、十分に衝撃を吸収できる車両用シートが望まれていた。
本発明の他の目的は、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、シートが撓み変形することにより衝撃荷重を吸収する車両用シートにおいて、通常使用時にシートバックフレームの剛性を一層向上させた車両用シートを提供することにある。
本発明の他の目的は、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、十分に衝撃を吸収すると共に、コンパクトに形成された脆弱部を備えた車両用シートを提供することにある。
また、変形案内部は、上下方向において脆弱部に対応する位置に設けられているため、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向が、変形案内部に案内されて、脆弱部から上方及び下方に向って一層拡散し易くなる。
また、脆弱部は、下部フレームのうち、中央部の上下方向の幅を左右に延長させた領域内に設けられているため、脆弱部をコンパクトに形成することができる。
このように、左右両端部の上端及び下端は、中央部の上端及び下端から連続してそれぞれ上方及び下方に広がるように延出しているため、通常使用時にシートバックフレームの剛性を一層向上させることができる。
また、下部フレームの上端及び下端の一方は、他方よりも、前記脆弱部に近い部分から上方又は下方へ延出しているため、他方側では、シートバックフレームの剛性を確保できると共に、一方側では、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向を優先させて変形し易くすることができる。従って、剛性を確保する部分と、変形の伝達方向を優先させる部分を配慮したシートバックフレームの形状にすることができる。
このように、脆弱部と変形案内部は、同一水平面上に設けられているため、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向が、変形案内部によって一層案内され易くなり、脆弱部から上方及び下方に向って拡散し易くなる。
このように、脆弱部の少なくとも一部分は、クッションサイドフレームの上端よりも下方に位置し、クッションサイドフレームの外縁に沿わせて設けられているため、脆弱部は、下部フレームのうち、クッションサイドフレームと連結された部分に近接して配置されることになり、衝撃荷重による応力集中を受け易くなる。従って、効率よく衝撃荷重を吸収させることができる。また、クッションサイドフレームの外縁に沿わせているため、脆弱部を形成する際に、クッションサイドフレームが干渉することがなく、作業性が向上する。
このように、下部フレームには、バネ部材の延出端部を係止する係止部材が固定され、脆弱部は、係止部材が固定された部分よりも下方に設けられているため、この脆弱部が、下部フレームのうち、リクライニング機構、特にバネ部材を備えた部分に近接して配置されることになり、衝撃荷重による応力集中を受け易くなる。従って、一層効率よく衝撃荷重を吸収させることができる。
このように、穴部が、下部フレームの左右両端部のうち、衝撃荷重によって変形する変形領域内に設けられているため、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向は、穴部に向って拡散し易くなる。すなわち、下部フレームに穴部を設けることによって、脆弱部を起点として変形を伝達させたい方向を案内させることができる。
このように構成されているため、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向は、穴部及び切欠き部が形成された部分に向って拡散し易くなる。
このように、下部フレームの上端及び下端にフランジ部が設けられ、フランジ部は、上端及び下端のうち、前記変形領域において切り欠かれているため、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向は、下部フレームの上端及び下端のうち、フランジ部が切り欠かれた部分に向って拡散し易くなる。すなわち、下部フレームの上端及び下端のうち、フランジ部が切り欠かれた部分を設けることによって、脆弱部を起点として変形を伝達させたい方向を案内させることができる。
このように、下部フレームは、中央部に突出部を備え、突出部は、一対の変形案内部の間において左右方向に延出しているため、突出部を設けたことによる下部フレームの剛性確保と共に、脆弱部において応力集中し易くさせている。
従って、通常使用時にシートバックフレームの剛性を向上させ、衝撃荷重が加わった際には、脆弱部に応力集中させて効率よく衝撃荷重を吸収させることができる。
このように、脆弱部は、変形案内部よりも左右外側に設けられ、突出部は、左右方向において変形案内部と脆弱部に挟まれた位置まで延出しているため、突出部を設けたことによる下部フレームの更なる剛性確保と共に、脆弱部に応力集中させ易くできる。
このように構成されているため、脆弱部を起点として脆弱部の上方及び下方に向って撓み変形の伝達方向が一層拡散し易くなる。従って、衝撃吸収性を一層向上できる。
また、脆弱部をコンパクトに形成することができる。
このように構成されているため、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向が、上方傾斜部及び下方傾斜部の少なくとも一方の傾斜部が延出する方向に向って拡散し易くなる。
また、変形案内部は、上下方向において脆弱部に対応する位置に設けられているため、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向が、変形案内部に案内されて、脆弱部から上方及び下方に向って一層拡散し易くなる。
また、脆弱部は、下部フレームのうち、中央部の上下方向の幅を左右に延長させた領域内に設けられているため、脆弱部をコンパクトに形成することができる。
また、下部フレームの上端及び下端の一方は、他方よりも、前記脆弱部に近い部分から上方又は下方へ延出しているため、他方側では、シートバックフレームの剛性を確保できると共に、一方側では、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向を優先させて変形し易くすることができる。従って、剛性を確保する部分と、変形の伝達方向を優先させる部分を配慮したシートバックフレームの形状にすることができる。
本発明によれば、脆弱部の少なくとも一部分は、クッションサイドフレームの上端よりも下方に位置し、クッションサイドフレームの外縁に沿わせて設けられているため、脆弱部は、下部フレームのうち、クッションサイドフレームと連結された部分に近接して配置されることになり、衝撃荷重による応力集中を受け易くなる。従って、効率よく衝撃荷重を吸収させることができる。また、クッションサイドフレームの外縁に沿わせているため、脆弱部を形成する際に、クッションサイドフレームが干渉することがなく、作業性が向上する。
本発明によれば、穴部が、下部フレームの左右両端部のうち、衝撃荷重によって変形する変形領域内に設けられているため、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向は、穴部に向って拡散し易くなる。すなわち、下部フレームに穴部を設けることによって、脆弱部を起点として変形を伝達させたい方向を案内させることができる。
本発明によれば、下部フレームの上端及び下端にフランジ部が設けられ、フランジ部は、上端及び下端のうち、前記変形領域において切り欠かれているため、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向は、下部フレームの上端及び下端のうち、フランジ部が切り欠かれた部分に向って拡散し易くなる。すなわち、下部フレームの上端及び下端のうち、フランジ部が切り欠かれた部分を設けることによって、脆弱部を起点として変形を伝達させたい方向を案内させることができる。
本発明によれば、下部フレームは、中央部に突出部を備え、突出部は、一対の変形案内部の間において左右方向に延出しているため、突出部を設けたことによる下部フレームの剛性確保と共に、脆弱部において応力集中し易くさせている。
従って、通常使用時にシートバックフレームの剛性を向上させ、衝撃荷重が加わった際には、脆弱部に応力集中させて効率よく衝撃荷重を吸収させることができる。
本発明によれば、脆弱部を起点として脆弱部の上方及び下方に向って撓み変形の伝達方向が一層拡散し易くなる。従って、衝撃吸収性を一層向上できる。また、脆弱部をコンパクトに形成することができる。
本発明によれば、脆弱部を起点とした変形の伝達方向が、上方傾斜部及び下方傾斜部の少なくとも一方の傾斜部が延出する方向に向って拡散し易くなる。
本実施形態の車両用シートSは、図1に示すように、シートクッション1と、シートクッション1の上面側に配置されたシートバック2と、シートバック2の上面側に配置されたヘッドレスト3とから主に構成されており、図2に示す骨格となるシートフレームSaを備える。
なお、車両用シートSのシートバック2に対して乗員が着座する側が前方側となる。
シートバック2は、乗員の背中を後方から支持する背もたれ部であって、図2に示す骨格となるシートバックフレーム20に、クッションパッド2aを載置して、表皮2bで被覆されて構成されている。
ヘッドレスト3は、乗員の頭を後方から支持する頭部であって、芯材となる不図示のピラーにクッションパッド3aを載置して、表皮3bで被覆されて構成されている。
リクライニング機構15は、公知の機構からなり、リクライニング機構15の回動軸となる連結シャフト16と、シートバックフレーム20を起立状態に付勢する渦巻きバネ17と、渦巻きバネ17の延出端部を係止するバネ係止部材18とを備えている。
連結シャフト16は、シートバックフレーム20の左右両端側の下方端部に設けられた不図示のシャフト貫通孔と、クッションサイドフレーム11の左右両端側の後方端部に設けられた不図示のシャフト挿通孔とを嵌通して連結されている。
渦巻きバネ17は、渦巻き形状の線状部材からなり、クッションサイドフレーム11の左右外側面の後方端部に設けられている。
渦巻きバネ17の一端部は、バネ係止部材18に掛け止めされることによって、シートバックフレーム20の左右外側の下方端部に固定されており、渦巻きバネ17の他端部は、クッションサイドフレーム11の左右外側面に設けられた不図示のバネ係止部に掛け止めされて固定されている。
なお、クッションサイドフレーム11の外側に不図示の操作レバーが取り付けられており、この操作レバーを操作することで、連結シャフト16が回転し、シートクッション1に対してシートバック2が回動する機構となっている。
なお、サイドフレーム22と下部フレーム30とは一体として構成されていてもよい。
左右のサイドフレーム22は、上側から下側に連続して前方に徐々に張り出すような形で形成されており、前方端部から左右内側に折り曲げられた前方折り曲げ部22aと、後方端部から左右内側に折り曲げられた後方折り曲げ部22bとを備えている。
弾性スプリング23は、左右両端部が凹部22cの貫通穴に挿入され掛け止めされることにより、左右のサイドフレーム22と連結されている。
フレーム折り曲げ部32には、左右方向に貫通した不図示のシャフト貫通孔が設けられており、連結シャフト16がシャフト貫通孔を嵌通して連結される。
フレーム折り曲げ部32の外側面には、バネ係止部材18が締結ボルト38により固定されている。
上端フランジ部33a及び下端フランジ部33bは、それぞれフレーム本体部31の上端部及び下端部に設けられ、左右方向に延出している。
フレーム中央部34は、下方端部に前方に突出するビード形状の突出部36と、上面に下方に窪む一対の凹部37とを備えている。
突出部36は、左右側方に設けられた変形案内部50の間において、左右方向に延出するように形成されたており、下部フレーム30の下方端部の剛性を高めている。
このとき、フレーム左右両端部35は、図3に示すように、上端の上方に傾斜する開始位置が、下端の下方に傾斜する開始位置よりも左右内側となるように形成されている。
言い換えれば、フレーム左右両端部35の上端及び下端は、それぞれ上方傾斜及び下方傾斜した辺からなり、上端の上方傾斜した辺の内側端部は、下端の下方傾斜した辺の内側端部よりも左右内側に形成されている。
そのため、フレーム左右両端部35の上端及び下端のうち、切欠き部39a及び切欠き部39bを備えた部分が、それぞれ剛性が低い部分として構成されている。
脆弱部40は、前方側に窪んだ凹部であって、左右方向に水平に延出しており、縦断面弓状又は縦断面半円弧状に形成されている。
なお、本実施形態の脆弱部40は、前方側に窪んだ凹部として形成されているが、これに限定されることなく、適宜変更することが可能である。例えば、下部フレーム30を前後方向に貫通した貫通孔として形成されていても良い。
なお、脆弱部40は、フレーム中央部34の上下方向の幅を左右に延長させた領域内に配置されていれば、中央に限定されなくても良い。
また、脆弱部40は、上下方向において下部フレーム30のうち、バネ係止部材18が締結ボルト38により固定された部分よりも下方に近接して配置されている。
そのため、車両用シートSの通常使用時においては、シートバックフレーム20の剛性を高く保持することが可能である。
このとき、図5に示す脆弱部40の上端40a及び下端40bは、脆弱部40の潰れ量、すなわち、サイドフレーム22の後傾角度が一定値を超えないように規制するものである。
すなわち、脆弱部40が上下方向に大きく潰れるとき、脆弱部40の上端40a及び下端40bが当接し、下端40bが上端40aを押し止める状態となる。
そのため、脆弱部40の上下方向の幅及び前後方向の幅を適宜変更することによって、脆弱部40の潰れ量、すなわち、サイドフレーム22の後傾角度を調整することができる。
変形案内部50は、フレーム左右両端部35のうち、脆弱部40と同一水平面上となるように近接して配置され、また左右方向において左右内側、つまりフレーム中央部34側に配置されている。
このように、変形案内部50は、脆弱部40と逆側に突出し、同一水平面上となるように近接して配置されるため、下部フレーム30の剛性を高めることができる。
穴部50aは、ハーネス等の他部材を取付けるための穴として形成されている。
シートバックフレーム20に衝撃荷重が加わると、脆弱部40が上下方向に撓むように変形して、さらに下部フレーム30の左右内側に向って撓み変形が伝達し、下部フレーム30及びサイドフレーム22が後方へ屈曲することになる。
このとき、下部フレーム30のうち、左右の脆弱部40の左右内側には、脆弱部40と逆側に突出する変形案内部50が同一水平面上に設けられているため、撓み変形の伝達方向は、図4に示す矢印の方向のように、変形案内部50を避けて、上方及び下方に傾斜するように拡散する。
このように、車両用シートSに衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部を起点として脆弱部の上方及び下方の2方向に撓み変形を伝達させることができるため、1方向に撓み変形を伝達させる場合と比較して衝撃吸収性を一層向上させることができる。
また、変形案内部50を設けることにより、脆弱部40を起点とした変形伝達方向を予め設定した方向に案内させることが可能になる。
そのため、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部40を起点とした変形の伝達方向は、下方側に優先して案内されるように構成されている。
なお、逆に、フレーム左右両端部35の上端の上方傾斜する開始位置が、下端の下方傾斜する開始位置よりも、脆弱部40に近くなるように形成されていても良い。その場合、脆弱部40を起点とした変形の伝達方向は、上方側に優先して案内されるようになる。
このように第2の脆弱部として穴部51を設けて剛性の低くなった部分が変形領域内に備わるため、衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部40を起点とした変形の伝達方向を切欠き部39a、39bに向けて一層案内させ易くすることができる。
なお、穴部51は、貫通穴のほか、窪んだ凹部や薄肉部として形成されていても良い。
下部フレーム60は、下方端部に前方に突出するビード形状の突出部61と、前方側に窪んだ凹部として形成された脆弱部62とを備えている。
突出部61は、左右端部が変形案内部50と脆弱部62との間に位置するように、左右方向に延出しており、下部フレーム30の下方端部の剛性を高めている。
脆弱部62は、水平に延出する水平部62aと、水平部62aから左右内側に連続して上方傾斜するように延出する上方傾斜部62bと、下方傾斜するように延出する下方傾斜部62cとから構成されている。
上方傾斜部62b及び下方傾斜部62cは、下部フレーム60の上端及び下端に設けられた切欠き部39a及び切欠き部39bに向ってそれぞれ延出している。
下部フレーム70は、下方端部の切欠き部39bに設けられたスリット71と、前方側に窪んだ凹部として形成された脆弱部72とを備えている。
スリット71は、脆弱部72に向って略V字形状に切り欠かれて形成されており、スリット71を備える部分は剛性が低くなっている。
脆弱部72は、水平に延出する水平部72aと、水平部72aから左右内側に連続して下方傾斜するように延出する下方傾斜部72cとから構成されている。
下方傾斜部72cは、下部フレーム60の下端に設けられた切欠き部39bに向って延出している。
車両用シートSに衝撃荷重が加わった際に、脆弱部72を起点とした撓み変形の伝達方向は、それぞれ切欠き部39a及び切欠き部39bに向って2方向に拡散する。
このとき、脆弱部72は下方傾斜部72cを備えているため、脆弱部72を起点とした撓み変形の伝達方向は、切欠き部39b側に優先させて案内することができる。
また、下部フレーム70はスリット71を備えているため、脆弱部72を起点とした撓み変形の伝達方向は、切欠き部39b側に一層優先させて案内することができる。

Claims (12)
- シートバックフレームを備えた車両用シートであって、
前記シートバックフレームは、左右側方に位置するサイドフレームと、該サイドフレームの下方を連結する下部フレームとを備え、
該下部フレームは、衝撃荷重が加わった際に変形する脆弱部と、該脆弱部の変形方向を案内する変形案内部とを備え、
前記下部フレームの中央部の上下方向の幅は、左右両端部の上下方向の幅よりも小さく形成され、
前記脆弱部は、前記下部フレームのうち、前記中央部の上下方向の幅を左右に延長させた領域内に設けられ、
前記変形案内部は、上下方向において前記脆弱部に対応する位置に設けられていることを特徴とする車両用シート。 - 前記中央部の上端及び下端は、水平に延出しており、
前記左右両端部の上端及び下端は、前記中央部の上端及び下端から連続してそれぞれ上方及び下方に広がるように延出しており、
前記下部フレームの上端及び下端の一方は、他方よりも、前記脆弱部に近い部分から上方又は下方へ延出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用シート。 - 前記脆弱部は、左右方向において水平に延出しており、
前記脆弱部と前記変形案内部は、同一水平面上に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用シート。 - 左右側方に位置するクッションサイドフレームを有するシートクッションフレームを備え、
前記脆弱部の少なくとも一部分は、前記クッションサイドフレームの上端よりも下方に位置し、前記クッションサイドフレームの外縁に沿わせて設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3いずれか記載の車両用シート。 - 前記シートクッションフレームに前記シートバックフレームを回動可能に連結するリクライニング機構を備え、
該リクライニング機構は、前記クッションサイドフレームに取り付けられ、前記シートバックフレームを起立状態に付勢するバネ部材を備え、
前記下部フレームには、前記バネ部材の延出端部を係止する係止部材が固定され、
前記脆弱部は、前記係止部材が固定された部分よりも下方に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両用シート。 - 前記左右両端部は、衝撃荷重によって前記脆弱部から前記左右両端部の上端及び下端の少なくとも一方に向かって変形する変形領域を備え、
前記下部フレームは、少なくとも1つの穴部を備え、
該穴部は、前記変形領域内に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5いずれか記載の車両用シート。 - 前記左右両端部の上端及び下端のうち、前記変形領域において切り欠かれた切欠き部が形成され、
前記穴部は、前記脆弱部の左右内側端部と、前記切欠き部とを結ぶ直線上に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の車両用シート。 - 前記下部フレームの上端及び下端には、該上端及び下端から前後方向に突出するフランジ部が設けられ、
該フランジ部は、前記上端及び下端のうち、前記変形領域において切り欠かれていることを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の車両用シート。 - 前記変形案内部は、前記下部フレームのうち、前記左右両端部に設けられ、
前記下部フレームは、前記中央部に突出部を備え、
該突出部は、一対の前記変形案内部の間において左右方向に延出していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8いずれか記載の車両用シート。 - 前記変形案内部は、前記下部フレームのうち、前記左右両端部に設けられ、
前記脆弱部は、前記変形案内部よりも左右外側に設けられ、
前記下部フレームは、前記中央部に突出部を備え、
該突出部は、左右方向において前記変形案内部と前記脆弱部に挟まれた位置まで延出していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8いずれか記載の車両用シート。 - 前記脆弱部は、前記下部フレームのうち、前記中央部の上下方向の幅を左右に延長させた領域の中央に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至10いずれか記載の車両用シート。
- 前記脆弱部は、
前記下部フレームのうち、前記左右両端部に設けられ、
左右方向において水平に延出する水平部と、該水平部から左右内側に連続して、上方傾斜するように延出する上方傾斜部、及び下方傾斜するように延出する下方傾斜部の少なくとも一方の傾斜部と、を有していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至11いずれか記載の車両用シート。
