Description
これら諸点を鑑みると、特許文献1に係るスタビライザバーのずれ止め技術は、前記4つの要求を高い水準で満たす観点から、未だ改善の余地がある。
また、本発明によれば、スタビライザバーに対して移動規制部材を、自動組立に対応可能な簡易な工程をもって確実に取り付け可能な、移動規制部材の半製品をスタビライザバーに取り付ける方法を得ることができる。
本発明の実施形態に係る移動規制部材の半製品31の説明に先だって、移動規制部材23を有するスタビライザバー11の車両への取り付け構造について、図1を参照して説明する。図1は、移動規制部材23を有するスタビライザバー11の車両への取り付け状態を概念的に表す斜視図である。
次に、本発明の実施形態に係る移動規制部材の半製品31について、図2~図6を参照して説明する。
本発明の実施形態に係る移動規制部材の半製品31は、図2及び図3に示すように、平板状の架橋部33、当該架橋部33の一方の端部から一体に伸びる第1の湾曲部35、及び、当該架橋部33の他方の端部から一体に伸びる第2の湾曲部37を有する。前記半製品31は、全体としてC字状に形成されている。前記半製品31は、例えば、アルミニウム又はアルミニウム合金などの金属からなる。
次に、本発明の実施形態に係る移動規制部材の半製品31をスタビライザバー11に取り付ける方法について、図7、図8、図9A~図9D、図10、及び、図11を参照して説明する。
次に、変形例に関する第2の係止部71について、図12、図13A、及び、図13Bを参照して説明する。
前記第2の係止部51と、当該変形例に関する第2の係止部71とは、基本的な構成が共通している。そこで、前記両者51,71の相違点に注目して説明を行うことで、当該変形例に関する第2の係止部71の説明に代えることとする。
なお、当該変形例に関する第2の係止部71が、前記収容部73を挟むように位置する第1及び第2の突出部55a,55b(図12参照)を有する点は、前記第2の係止部51と同じである。
その結果、前記変形例に関する第2の係止部71によれば、前記第2の係止部51と比べて、前記第1及び第2の係止部41,71間の係合力を一層向上させることができる。
次に、本発明の実施形態に係る移動規制部材の半製品31が奏する作用効果について説明する。
本発明の実施形態に係る移動規制部材の半製品31は、下記の基本構成を備える。すなわち、移動規制部材の半製品31は、平板状の架橋部33、前記架橋部33の一方の端部から一体に伸びる第1の湾曲部35、及び、前記架橋部33の他方の端部から一体に伸びる第2の湾曲部37を有し、全体としてC字状に形成される。前記第1の湾曲部35は、その端部に第1の係止部41を有する。一方、前記第2の湾曲部37は、その端部に前記第1の係止部41と係合する第2の係止部51を有する。
ここまでが、本発明の実施形態に係る移動規制部材の半製品31が基本的に備える基本構成である。
すなわち、当該半製品31の幅方向における前記膨出部43の最大寸法(L5:図5参照)は、当該半製品31の幅方向における前記収容部73の開口部75の最大寸法(L13:図12参照)を僅かに超える寸法に設定(L5=L6>L13)される。当該半製品31において、前記第1又は第2の湾曲部35,37のうちいずれか一方の湾曲部の内周面に前記間隙L11を通して前記スタビライザバー11を置いた状態で、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部35,37の外周側をそれぞれ覆う一対の金型61,63を用いて、前記架橋部33、並びに、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部35,37の内周面を前記スタビライザバー11の外周面に圧接させると共に、前記第1及び第2の係止部41,51の間を係合させるかしめ加工を施す。すると、前記膨出部43が、前記収容部73の前記開口部75を押し広げながら当該収容部73に収容されると共に、前記開口部75の押し広げに伴って前記第1の係止部41の幅方向外側に向かっていったん移動した前記一対の隆起部59が、前記一対の受け部45の前記案内面48に当接した後、前記肩部46に連なる前記案内面48に圧迫されて、前記第1の係止部41の幅方向内側に向かって前記くびれ部44を埋めるように塑性変形する。その結果、前記くびれ部44を含む前記案内面48により区画される凹み空間には、塑性変形した前記隆起部59が充填されることにより、当該凹み空間が、高い充填度をもって隙間なく埋められる。したがって、前記移動規制部材の半製品31が完成品69となって、前記スタビライザバー11に確実に取り付けられる。
前記移動規制部材23を有するスタビライザバー11によれば、スタビライザバー11の軸方向に対する前記移動規制部材23の位置ずれを確実に防止することができる。
すなわち、前記基本方法は、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部35,37の外周側が収容されるキャビティ62,64をそれぞれ有する第1及び第2の金型61,63に、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部35,37をそれぞれセットする工程と、前記第1又は第2の湾曲部35,37のうちいずれか一方の湾曲部(本実施形態では、第1の湾曲部35)の内周面に、前記間隙L11を通して前記スタビライザバー11を置く工程と、前記一方の湾曲部(第1の湾曲部35)の内周面に前記スタビライザバー11を置いた状態で、前記第1及び第2の金型61,63を用いて、前記架橋部33、並びに、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部35,37の内周面を前記スタビライザバー11の外周面に圧接させると共に、前記第1及び第2の係止部41,51の間を係合させるかしめ加工を施す工程と、を有する。
すなわち、前記かしめ加工を施す工程では、前記膨出部43が、前記収容部73の前記開口部75を押し広げながら前記収容部73に収容されると共に、前記開口部75の押し広げに伴って前記第1の係止部41の幅方向外側に向かっていったん移動した前記一対の隆起部59が、前記一対の受け部45の前記案内面48に当接した後、前記一対の肩部46に連なる当該案内面48に圧迫されて、前記第1の係止部41の幅方向内側に向かって、前記くびれ部44を含む前記案内面48により区画される凹み空間を埋めるように塑性変形することにより、前記移動規制部材の半製品31が完成品69となって、前記スタビライザバー11に取り付けられる。
前記移動規制部材23を有するスタビライザバー11によれば、スタビライザバー11の軸方向に対する前記移動規制部材23の位置ずれを確実に防止することができる。

前記半製品では、前記第1又は第2の湾曲部のうちいずれか一方の湾曲部の内周面に前記間隙を通して前記スタビライザバーを置いた状態で、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部の外周側をそれぞれ覆う一対の金型を用いて、前記架橋部、並びに、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部の内周面を前記スタビライザバーの外周面に圧接させると共に、前記第1及び第2の係止部の間を係合させるかしめ加工を施すと、前記膨出部が前記収容部に収容されると共に、前記一対の隆起部が、前記一対の受け部の前記案内面に当接した後、前記肩部に連なる前記案内面に圧迫されて、前記第1の係止部の幅方向内側に向かって、前記くびれ部を含む前記案内面により区画される凹み空間を埋めるように塑性変形することにより、前記移動規制部材の半製品が完成品となって、前記スタビライザバーに取り付けられる、
ことを特徴とする移動規制部材の半製品。 - 請求項1に記載の移動規制部材の半製品であって、
少なくとも前記第1又は第2の湾曲部のうち前記スタビライザバーが置かれる一方の湾曲部の内周面の曲率半径を、前記スタビライザバーの半径と同じ寸法に設定すると共に、当該一方の湾曲部の湾曲方向に沿う内周面の長さを、他方の湾曲部の湾曲方向に沿う内周面の長さと比べて長く設定した
ことを特徴とする移動規制部材の半製品。 - 請求項1に記載の移動規制部材の半製品であって、
前記半製品の幅方向における前記膨出部の最大寸法を、前記半製品の幅方向における前記収容部の最大寸法と同等の寸法に設定した
ことを特徴とする移動規制部材の半製品。 - 車両用のスタビライザバーに取り付けられる移動規制部材の半製品であって、
前記半製品は、平板状の架橋部、前記架橋部の一方の端部から一体に伸びる第1の湾曲部、及び、前記架橋部の他方の端部から一体に伸びる第2の湾曲部を有し、全体としてC字状に形成され、
前記第1の湾曲部は、その端部に第1の係止部を有する一方、
前記第2の湾曲部は、その端部に前記第1の係止部と係合する第2の係止部を有し、
前記第1の係止部は、凸状の膨出部、及び、前記膨出部を挟むように位置する一対の受け部を有する一方、
前記第2の係止部は、前記膨出部を収容可能な凹状の収容部、及び、前記収容部を挟むように位置する一対の突出部を有し、
前記一対の突出部は、該突出部の先端部分から前記収容部の開口部に向かって隆起する隆起部をそれぞれ有し、
前記膨出部は、その基端部にくびれ部を有し、
前記一対の受け部は、前記第1の係止部の幅方向外側に存して前記膨出部の膨らみ方向に突出する肩部、及び、当該肩部に対して前記くびれ部に向かって前記膨出部の膨らみ方向とは反対の方向に傾斜しつつ凹む案内面を有し、
前記一対の隆起部の高さは、前記案内面の前記凹みの深さと比べて大に設定され、
前記第1及び第2の係止部同士の間隙は、前記スタビライザバーの直径と比べて大に設定され、
前記半製品の幅方向における前記膨出部の最大寸法は、前記半製品の幅方向における前記収容部の開口部の最大寸法を僅かに超える寸法に設定され、
前記半製品では、前記第1又は第2の湾曲部のうちいずれか一方の湾曲部の内周面に前記間隙を通して前記スタビライザバーを置いた状態で、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部の外周側をそれぞれ覆う一対の金型を用いて、前記架橋部、並びに、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部の内周面を前記スタビライザバーの外周面に圧接させると共に、前記第1及び第2の係止部の間を係合させるかしめ加工を施すと、前記膨出部が、前記収容部の前記開口部を押し広げながら前記収容部に収容されると共に、前記開口部の押し広げに伴って前記第1の係止部の幅方向外側に向かっていったん移動した前記一対の隆起部が、前記一対の受け部の前記案内面に当接した後、前記肩部に連なる前記案内面に圧迫されて、前記第1の係止部の幅方向内側に向かって、前記くびれ部を含む前記案内面により区画される凹み空間を埋めるように塑性変形することにより、前記移動規制部材の半製品が完成品となって、前記スタビライザバーに取り付けられる、
ことを特徴とする移動規制部材の半製品。 - 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の移動規制部材の半製品であって、
前記膨出部の膨らみ方向の端部、及び、前記収容部の凹み方向の奥部を、同一径の円形状に形成した
ことを特徴とする移動規制部材の半製品。 - 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の移動規制部材の半製品であって、
前記スタビライザバーの外周面を圧接する、前記架橋部、並びに、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部の内周面には、すべり止め加工が施されている
ことを特徴とする移動規制部材の半製品。 - 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の移動規制部材の半製品が完成品となって取り付けられる、移動規制部材を有するスタビライザバー。
- 移動規制部材の半製品を、車両用のスタビライザバーに取り付ける際に用いられる方法であって、
前記半製品は、平板状の架橋部、前記架橋部の一方の端部から一体に伸びる第1の湾曲部、及び、前記架橋部の他方の端部から一体に伸びる第2の湾曲部を有し、全体としてC字状に形成され、
前記第1の湾曲部は、その端部に第1の係止部を有する一方、
前記第2の湾曲部は、その端部に前記第1の係止部と係合する第2の係止部を有し、
前記第1の係止部は、凸状の膨出部、及び、前記膨出部を挟むように位置する一対の受け部を有する一方、
前記第2の係止部は、前記膨出部を収容可能な凹状の収容部、及び、前記収容部を挟むように位置する一対の突出部を有し、
前記一対の突出部は、該突出部の先端部分から前記収容部の開口部に向かって隆起する隆起部をそれぞれ有し、
前記膨出部は、その基端部にくびれ部を有し、
前記一対の受け部は、前記第1の係止部の幅方向外側に存して前記膨出部の膨らみ方向に突出する肩部、及び、当該肩部に対して前記くびれ部に向かって前記膨出部の膨らみ方向とは反対の方向に傾斜しつつ凹む案内面を有し、
前記一対の隆起部の高さは、前記案内面の前記凹みの深さと比べて大に設定され、
前記第1及び第2の係止部同士の間隙は、前記スタビライザバーの直径と比べて大に設定されており、
前記第1及び第2の湾曲部の外周側が収容されるキャビティをそれぞれ有する第1及び第2の金型に、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部をそれぞれセットする工程と、
前記第1又は第2の湾曲部のうちいずれか一方の湾曲部の内周面に、前記間隙を通して前記スタビライザバーを置く工程と、
前記一方の湾曲部の内周面に前記スタビライザバーを置いた状態で、前記第1及び第2の金型を用いて、前記架橋部、並びに、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部の内周面を前記スタビライザバーの外周面に圧接させると共に、前記第1及び第2の係止部の間を係合させるかしめ加工を施す工程と、
を有し、
前記かしめ加工を施す工程では、前記膨出部が前記収容部に収容されると共に、前記一対の隆起部が、前記一対の肩部の前記案内面に当接した後、前記肩部に連なる前記案内面に圧迫されて、前記第1の係止部の幅方向内側に向かって、前記くびれ部を含む前記案内面により区画される凹み空間を埋めるように塑性変形することにより、前記移動規制部材の半製品が完成品となって、前記スタビライザバーに取り付けられる、
ことを特徴とする移動規制部材の半製品をスタビライザバーに取り付ける方法。 - 移動規制部材の半製品を、車両用のスタビライザバーに取り付ける際に用いられる方法であって、
前記半製品は、平板状の架橋部、前記架橋部の一方の端部から一体に伸びる第1の湾曲部、及び、前記架橋部の他方の端部から一体に伸びる第2の湾曲部を有し、全体としてC字状に形成され、
前記第1の湾曲部は、その端部に第1の係止部を有する一方、
前記第2の湾曲部は、その端部に前記第1の係止部と係合する第2の係止部を有し、
前記第1の係止部は、凸状の膨出部、及び、前記膨出部を挟むように位置する一対の受け部を有する一方、
前記第2の係止部は、前記膨出部を収容可能な凹状の収容部、及び、前記収容部を挟むように位置する一対の突出部を有し、
前記一対の突出部は、該突出部の先端部分から前記収容部の開口部に向かって隆起する隆起部をそれぞれ有し、
前記膨出部は、その基端部にくびれ部を有し、
前記一対の受け部は、前記第1の係止部の幅方向外側に存して前記膨出部の膨らみ方向に突出する肩部、及び、当該肩部に対して前記くびれ部に向かって前記膨出部の膨らみ方向とは反対の方向に傾斜しつつ凹む案内面を有し、
前記一対の隆起部の高さは、前記案内面の前記凹みの深さと比べて大に設定され、
前記第1及び第2の係止部同士の間隙は、前記スタビライザバーの直径と比べて大に設定され、
前記半製品の幅方向における前記膨出部の最大寸法は、前記半製品の幅方向における前記収容部の開口部の最大寸法を僅かに超える寸法に設定されており、
前記第1及び第2の湾曲部の外周側が収容されるキャビティをそれぞれ有する第1及び第2の金型に、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部をそれぞれセットする工程と、
前記第1又は第2の湾曲部のうちいずれか一方の湾曲部の内周面に、前記間隙を通して前記スタビライザバーを置く工程と、
前記一方の湾曲部の内周面に前記スタビライザバーを置いた状態で、前記第1及び第2の金型を用いて、前記架橋部、並びに、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部の内周面を前記スタビライザバーの外周面に圧接させると共に、前記第1及び第2の係止部の間を係合させるかしめ加工を施す工程と、
を有し、
前記かしめ加工を施す工程では、前記膨出部が、前記収容部の前記開口部を押し広げながら前記収容部に収容されると共に、前記開口部の押し広げに伴って前記第1の係止部の幅方向外側に向かっていったん移動した前記一対の隆起部が、前記一対の肩部の前記案内面に当接した後、前記肩部に連なる前記案内面に圧迫されて、前記第1の係止部の幅方向内側に向かって、前記くびれ部を含む前記案内面により区画される凹み空間を埋めるように塑性変形することにより、前記移動規制部材の半製品が完成品となって、前記スタビライザバーに取り付けられる、
ことを特徴とする移動規制部材の半製品をスタビライザバーに取り付ける方法。 - 請求項8又は9に記載の移動規制部材の半製品をスタビライザバーに取り付ける方法であって、
前記かしめ加工を施す工程では、少なくとも前記第1及び第2の係止部の間の係合部分を前記第1及び第2の金型の境界部分付近に位置させた状態で、当該第1及び第2の金型の間にバリ形成用の間隙を留め置きながら前記移動規制部材の半製品を圧し潰すことにより、前記係合部分の外壁に周回状のバリ突起部を一体形成させる、
ことを特徴とする移動規制部材の半製品をスタビライザバーに取り付ける方法。 - 請求項8又は9に記載の移動規制部材の半製品をスタビライザバーに取り付ける方法を用いて前記移動規制部材が取り付けられた、移動規制部材を有するスタビライザバー。
