Abstract
Description
平板状の刃物を下降させてワークを切断する切断機であって、
上記刃物を下部に備え、左右両端側をガイドポストに挿通させて上下動可能に構成した打抜き盤と、
打抜き盤の一端側にアームを接続し、刃物の長さ方向の一端側を上下動させる第1のエキセン機構と、
打抜き盤の他端側にアームを接続し、刃物の長さ方向の他端側を上下動させる第2のエキセン機構と、
第1、第2のエキセン機構を同時に可動して刃物を水平に下降させる動作、又は第1、第2のエキセン機構を時間差を付けて可動して刃物を傾斜して下降させる動作を実行可能とする制御部とを備える。
以上より、ワークの特性に応じて、ワーク切断時に切断音や装置振動を小さく抑えることが可能な切断方式を設定することができる。
上記制御部は、上記第1、第2のエキセン機構によって、刃先をワーク全幅に当接させた状態の刃物に対して、刃物の長さ方向の一端側を先行し他端側を追従させて下降して刃物の刃先を傾斜姿勢にしてワークを片側から切り込み、下降最終位置では刃先の両端の高さが合致するように下降して刃物の刃先を水平姿勢にしてワークを切断する制御構成とすることができる。
上記刃物と、刃物を固定した刃物ホルダーとにより刃物ユニットを構成し、
上記刃物ホルダーを上記打抜き盤に設けた直動ガイド機構のスライドベースに取り付け、
上記刃物ユニットを上記打抜き盤に対して上記直動ガイド機構を介して横方向にスライドさせるためのスライド機構を上記刃物ユニット又は上記スライドベースに接続し、
上記制御部は、上記スライド機構を可動して刃物ユニットを横方向にスライドさせることにより刃物を横方向にスライドさせてワークを切断する制御構成とすることができる。
上記スライド機構によって刃物を横方向にスライドさせることにより、ワークに対する刃物の実質的な切り込み角度をさらに小さくでき、刃物の切れ味が鋭くなりワークの切断面をさらにキレイにすることができる。また、上記スライド機構によって先行して下降させる刃物の一端側を横方向にスライドさせる場合は、刃物によってワークを引き切りすることができ、ワーク切断時に刃物やワークにかかる負荷をさらに低減することができる。従って、ワーク切断時の切断音や装置の振動をさらに小さく抑えることができる。
さらに、直動ガイド機構及びスライド機構により、打抜き盤に対して、刃物と刃物ホルダーとで構成する刃物ユニットの部分をスライドさせるので、低慣性にて刃物をスライドさせることができる。従って、幅広のワークを切断する場合であっても、刃物の横方向の移動を精度良く制御することができ、且つ刃物の横移動に伴う装置の振動や切断音を抑制することができる。
上記第1、第2のエキセン機構における各アームの刃物吊持ち位置間隔が刃物の全長に対して1/2~1/3に設定されているのが望ましい。
刃物吊持ち位置間隔、すなわち、第1、第2のエキセン機構の各アームにおける打抜き盤の接続部分間の間隔が刃物の全長に対して1/2よりも広くなると切断時に刃物の真ん中がしなるおそれがあり、一方、上記間隔が刃物の全長に対して1/3よりも狭くなると切断時に刃物の両端がしなるおそれがある。従って、全長が長い(例えば、1m以上)刃物であっても、各アームの刃物吊持ち位置間隔が刃物の全長に対して1/2~1/3に設定することにより、切断時に刃物がしなることなく真っ直ぐな状態を保持してワークを真っ直ぐに切断することができる。しかも、刃物を斜めにするときに第1、第2のエキセン機構の回転角の差が小さくも大きくもならず、第1、第2のエキセン機構を制御し易くすることができる。なお、各アームの刃物吊持ち位置間隔は、刃物の全長に対して1/2~1/3の範囲内で、ワークの材質、厚さ、サイズ等、また刃物の厚さ等により適宜に設定することができる。
上記打抜き盤の両端側には、上記ガイドポストを挿通し、転動体を備える直動軸受が設けられていることが望ましい。
この直動軸受により刃物を備えた打抜き盤を円滑に上下動させることができ、ワーク切断時の切断音や装置振動を小さく抑えることができる。また、直動軸受によって、第1、第2のエキセン機構を時間差を付けて可動する場合に打抜き盤におけるガイドポストの挿通部分で許容される弾性変形量を調整し易くすることができる。この場合、弾性変形しても上記直動軸受により上記打抜き盤を円滑に上下動させることができる。
図1に示すように、切断機1は、ヘッド11に吊持された刃物2を下降させ、架台12に取り付けられた刃受部材14に配置したワークWを切断するものである。ワークWは、例えば、表示パネル用のフィルムのように種々の層を積層したフィルムや回路電極等の金属を含むフィルム等その他の各種のフィルムや、金属板等である。架台12はフレーム15によって支持されている。ヘッド11は、架台12の左右両端に2本ずつ立設したガイドポスト13の上部に取り付けられて架台12の上方に設置されている。そして、箱型の打抜き盤17は、その左右両端側で直動軸受18を介してガイドポスト13に挿通させて上下動可能に構成されている。この打抜き盤17の下部には、刃物2を刃物ホルダー21に固定した刃物ユニット20が配設されている。直動軸受18は、図示しないがローラ又はボール等の転動体を備え、ガイドポスト13との間にガタが生じないように設定されている。これにより、刃物2を上下動させるときには、打抜き盤17がガイドポスト13に沿って上下動されるので、刃物2が前後に振れたり撓んだりすることが防止される。
なお、各アーム54,64の刃物吊持ち位置間隔は、刃物2の全長に対して1/2~1/3の範囲内で、ワークWの材質、厚さ、サイズ等、また刃物2の厚さ等により適宜に設定することができる。
上記実施形態では、第1のエキセン機構5の可動速度を減速させるが(図4(d))、第1のエキセン機構5の可動速度はそのまま等速とし、第2のエキセン機構6の可動速度を増速させて第2のエキセン機構6の可動位置を第1のエキセン機構5の可動位置に追い着かせるようにしてもよい。
また、ワーク押さえ部材を設け、ワーク切断時に刃物2付近でワークWを押さえて保持するようにしてもよい。

Claims (5)
- 平板状の刃物を下降させてワークを切断する切断機であって、
上記刃物を下部に備え、左右両端側をガイドポストに挿通させて上下動可能に構成した打抜き盤と、
打抜き盤の一端側にアームを接続し、刃物の長さ方向の一端側を上下動させる第1のエキセン機構と、
打抜き盤の他端側にアームを接続し、刃物の長さ方向の他端側を上下動させる第2のエキセン機構と、
第1、第2のエキセン機構を同時に可動して刃物を水平に下降させる動作、又は第1、第2のエキセン機構を時間差を付けて可動して刃物を傾斜して下降させる動作を実行可能とする制御部とを備える切断機。 - 請求項1に記載の切断機において、
上記制御部は、上記第1、第2のエキセン機構によって、刃先をワーク全幅に当接させた状態の刃物に対して、刃物の長さ方向の一端側を先行し他端側を追従させて下降して刃物の刃先を傾斜姿勢にしてワークを片側から切り込み、下降最終位置では刃先の両端の高さが合致するように下降して刃物の刃先を水平姿勢にしてワークを切断する制御構成を備える切断機。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の切断機において、
上記刃物と、刃物を固定した刃物ホルダーとにより刃物ユニットを構成し、
上記刃物ホルダーを上記打抜き盤に設けた直動ガイド機構のスライドベースに取り付け、
上記刃物ユニットを上記打抜き盤に対して上記直動ガイド機構を介して横方向にスライドさせるためのスライド機構を上記刃物ユニット又は上記スライドベースに接続し、
上記制御部は、上記スライド機構を可動して刃物ユニットを横方向にスライドさせることにより刃物を横方向にスライドさせてワークを切断する制御構成を備える切断機。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の切断機において、
上記第1、第2のエキセン機構における各アームの刃物吊持ち位置間隔が刃物の全長に対して1/2~1/3に設定されている切断機。 - 請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の切断機において、
上記打抜き盤の両端側には、上記ガイドポストを挿通し、転動体を備える直動軸受が設けられている切断機。
