Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hair dye composition, and more particularly includes a first agent containing a dye and an alkali agent and a second agent containing an oxidant, wherein at least one of the first agent and the second agent is a nonionic thickener.
- a foaming hair dye composition containing PEG-fatty acid ester or PPG-fatty acid ester.
- a typical and common method of using hair dyes was to apply a hair dye and a second oxidant in a cream or lotion formulation to the hair. However, there is an increasing demand for a simple dyeing method that can be easily dyed alone at home and not in a beauty salon. Accordingly, there is a growing interest in foam dyeing.
- Foam hair dyes are largely divided into aerosol type and non-aerosol type
- aerosol type is a state in which the contents and gas are mixed and the contents are discharged by the gas pressure.
- the non-aerosol type contains no gas and forms bubbles as the contents pass through the mesh of the bubble field. Aerosol hair dyes have the advantage of being easy to use after dividing the contents several times, but the cost of subsidiary materials can be less effective for fashionable dyes that require the use of large amounts at one time.
- Foam hair dyes are getting more attention because they can be easily dyed alone, like shampoos. However, if the application time of the hair is long, the contents can flow down due to the low viscosity of the contents compared to the cream product. The disadvantage of uniform dyeing is also inherent. In addition, due to the low adhesion to the hair, the dyeing and discoloring power can be greatly reduced compared to the cream-type products, and the hair damage can be somewhat increased.
- the conventional foam type hair dye to improve the elasticity of the foam by using an anionic surfactant having excellent foaming ability, or by using a large amount of amphoteric ionic surfactant and a polymer thickener.
- anionic surfactants may cause additional irritation or lower the dyeing power, and in the case of using a large amount of amphoteric surfactants, the dyeing power may be significantly lower than when using anionic surfactants.
- the foam immediately after the discharge can be rubbed, but when left on for a long time after application to the hair, there is a problem that the foam is easily broken and the contents easily flow down.
- the present inventors have continued to study how to overcome the limitations of conventional foam hair dyes and maximize customer satisfaction in usability, dyeing power and hair damage.
- diester forms of fatty acids which are nonionic thickeners In the case of the two-component foam type hair dye composition using the foam is more elastic, it is confirmed that the foam does not fade easily to improve the dyeing quality, and also to ensure a good hair conditioning feeling.
- the present invention provides a hair dye composition containing at least one of the compounds of the formula (1) to (4) which is a nonionic thickener.

- n is an integer from 100 to 150.
- the foam type hair dye composition of the present invention forms a foam with high adhesion to the hair, and even when it is left on for a long time after application to the hair, the contents do not flow down and can be easily dyed alone, as well as greatly improving the dyeing quality and hair damage. This greatly reduces the feeling of excellent conditioning.
