Description
図12は従来のカップ容器の代表的な例を示す半縦断正面図である。
このカップ容器101は全体として有底筒状の形状を有し、円筒状の側周壁103の下端に底部106を連接し、側周壁103の上端から外鍔状にフランジ116を周設した形状である。
そして、シールフィルム119を剥がしてから開口部から直接、あるいはストローをシールフィルム119に突き刺すようにして内容液を飲むようにする。
ここで、フランジ116は、上記のようにシールのための部位、上端開口部の変形を抑制する機能を発揮する部位、内容物の充填装置内のカップ容器を供給する装置においてカップ容器の姿勢を支持する支持爪片を当接させるのに利用する部位(以下、供給装置における支持部位と記載する。)、さらには充填装置内での搬送用のリテーナーに保持するのに利用する部位であり、この種の容器では必須的な部位である。
更に、容器が膨張状に変形するため、利用者に不安な感じを与え、カップ容器製品としての商品性が低下する、と云う問題もある。
カップ本体とフランジ体の2つの部材を有し、
カップ本体は有底筒状で筒状の側周壁の下端部に底部を連設した部材であり、
フランジ体は筒状の嵌合筒片の上端に外鍔状にフランジを周設した部材であり、
嵌合筒片を側周壁の上端部に嵌入組付けし、フランジ体を着脱可能にカップ本体の側周壁の上端部に装着した構成とする、と云うものである。
飲用に供する際には、フランジ体を取外してカップ本体の側周壁の上端開口部から内容液を飲むことが可能であり、フランジに起因する飲み難さや違和感の問題を完全に解消することができる。
なお、例えばカップ本体とフランジ体において、フランジの下面と側周壁の上端面の当接により液密状のシール機能を達成させることができる。
フランジ体を取外して内容液の一部を飲んだ後にも、シールフィルムで上端開口部をシールされたフランジ体を再びカップ本体に装着することにより、残りの内容液が入ったカップ容器を安心して保管、さらには持ち運びすることが可能となる。
なお、内容液を充填した上記構成のカップ容器製品では、フランジ体の上端開口部を覆うシールフィルムの周縁部からカップ本体の側周壁にかけての範囲をシュリンクフィルムで外装し、より安全な状態で販売することが好ましい。
側周壁の上端部内周面に周突条を周設し、嵌合筒片の外周面に周溝を周設し、これら周突条と周溝の嵌合により、側周壁の上端部への嵌合筒片の嵌入組付けを達成する構成とする、と云うものである。
また、カップ本体の上端部内周面に形成する周突条により、周リブとしての作用効果が発揮され、フランジ本体を取外した後でも、カップ本体の上端開口部の変形を抑制することが可能となる。
なお、周突条と周溝の嵌合によれば、上記した係止機能を発揮させると共に、前述したシール機能を発揮させることが可能である。
なお、上記構成では螺合や螺脱操作が容易にできるように、フランジに滑り止めのためのローレット等の凹凸模様を配設することが好ましい。
すなわち、本発明の主たる構成を有するものにあっては、カップ容器をカップ本体とフランジ体の2つの部材により構成することにより、通常のフランジ付きカップ容器と同様にフランジが上端開口部の変形を防ぐ機能や、供給装置における支持部位としての機能を発揮させることができると共に、飲用に供する際にはフランジ体を取外してカップ本体の側周壁の上端開口部から内容液を飲むことができ、フランジに起因する飲み難さや、違和感の問題を完全に解消することができる。

図1~図4は本発明の合成樹脂製カップ容器の一実施例を説明するためのものであり、図1は斜視図、図2はフランジ体11をカップ本体2から取外した状態を示す斜視図、図3は上端部を一部縦断し、要部拡大してみた斜視図、図4は半縦断正面図である。
なお、図4ではシールフィルム19の周縁部をフランジ体11のフランジ16の上端面に接着するようにして、このシールフィルム19でフランジ体11の上端開口部をシールした状態を示している。
また、フランジ体11の嵌合筒片12の外周面の、上記した側周壁3の内周面に形成される周突条4と周突条5に対向する高さ位置に、それぞれ周溝14と周溝15が配設されている。
そして、図3、4に示されるように周突条4、5が周溝14、15に嵌入状に嵌合した状態でカップ本体2の側周壁3の上端部にフランジ体11が嵌入状に組付き固定されている。
この周突条4、5と周溝14、15の嵌合により、カップ容器1の供給装置等におけるフランジ16に上方に作用する力によるフランジ体11のカップ本体2からの抜け出しを防止するための係止機能が発揮される。
因みに、供給装置等ではフランジ16を介してフランジ体11を単純に上方に引き抜くような力が作用するのに対して、手によるフランジ体の取外し操作ではフランジ体11を回動させながら、あるいは抉りながら力を作用させるので、この力の作用の差異を考慮して係止機能を構成することにより、フランジ体11の供給装置等における耐引抜性と、使用時におけるフランジ体11の易着脱性とを両立させることができる。
また、フランジ体11には、上記螺条7に螺合する螺溝17が配設されている。
そして、これら螺条7と螺溝17の螺合によりカップ本体2の上端部にフランジ体11を強固に引抜け不能に組付けることができると共に、強固に組付けされたフランジ体11を螺脱操作により容易に取外すことができる。
また、上記した螺合や螺脱操作が容易にできるようにフランジ16の側周面には滑り止めのための凹凸模様18の一例であるローレットを形成するようにしている。
なお、本実施例ではガス抜き溝16gを1箇所に形成する構成としたが、このガス抜き溝16gの溝の断面形状や形成個数等は適宜選択できるものである。
また、ガス抜き性を考慮し、必要に応じてこのガス抜き溝16gをフランジ16の基端部から嵌合筒片12の外周面上端部にまで延設することもできる。
また、フランジ体11には、上記螺条7に螺合する螺溝17が配設されている。
そして、これら螺条7と螺溝17の螺合によりカップ本体2の上端部にフランジ体11を強固に引抜け不能に組付けることができると共に、強固に組付けされたフランジ体11を螺脱操作により容易に取外すことができる。
また、上記した螺合や螺脱操作が容易にできるようにフランジ16の側周面には滑り止めのための凹凸模様18の一例であるローレットを形成するようにしている。
また、このようにカップ本体2とフランジ体11を螺合により嵌合組付けする場合でも容器内部が加圧状態になると、螺条7と螺溝17の隙間、側周壁3の膨張に伴って周突条4と周溝14の間に形成される隙間S、そしてガス抜き溝16gを介して容器内部のガスを逃すことができる。
上記実施例ではカップ本体2をPP樹脂製、フランジ体11をLDPE樹脂製としたが、勿論、カップ本体2とフランジ体11のシール性や、シールフィルム19のシール性、容器としての剛性等を考慮してポリスチレン樹脂、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)樹脂等、他の合成樹脂製とすることができる。
また、フランジにガス抜き溝を形成する場合は、本発明のカップ容器は容器内部の圧力の上昇を効果的に抑制して、安全にまた安心して使用できるものであり、内容液を加熱して使用に供する用途での幅広い利用展開が期待できる。
Claims (6)
- カップ本体(2)とフランジ体(11)の2つの部材を有し、前記カップ本体(2)は有底筒状で筒状の側周壁(3)の下端部に底部(6)を連設した部材であり、前記フランジ体(11)は筒状の嵌合筒片(12)の上端に外鍔状にフランジ(16)を周設した部材であり、前記嵌合筒片(12)を側周壁(3)の上端部に嵌入組付けし、前記フランジ体(11)を着脱可能に前記カップ本体(2)の上端部に装着した構成とした合成樹脂製カップ容器。
- シールフィルム(19)の周縁部をフランジ体(11)のフランジ(16)の上端面に接着するようにして、該シールフィルム(19)でフランジ体(11)の上端開口部をシールした請求項1記載の合成樹脂製カップ容器。
- 側周壁(3)の上端部内周面に周突条を周設し、嵌合筒片(12)の外周面に周溝を周設し、前記周突条と周溝の嵌合により、前記側周壁(3)の上端部への嵌合筒片(12)の嵌入組付けを達成する構成とした請求項1または2記載の合成樹脂製カップ容器。
- 側周壁(3)の上端部と嵌合筒片(12)を螺合する構成とした請求項1、2または3記載の合成樹脂製カップ容器。
- フランジ(16)に滑り止めのための凹凸模様を配設した請求項4記載の合成樹脂製カップ容器。
- フランジ(16)の下面に、該フランジ(16)の基端部から外周縁方向に向けてガス抜き溝(16g)形成した請求項1、2、3、4または5記載の合成樹脂製カップ容器。
