- the controller 5 sets the disconnection detection time and the deterioration determination time in advance, turns on the relay switch 6 to discharge the capacitor 3, and according to the detection voltage of the voltage sensor 4 before discharging, Set the deterioration judgment time.
- the disconnection detection time is a time set for detecting a disconnection failure of the power line 2. As shown in FIG. 3, when the power line 2 is disconnected, the capacitor 3 is hardly discharged. Therefore, the disconnection detection time is set as the timeout time.
- the deterioration determination time is a discharge time of the capacitor 3 when the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 are normal or a time set a little longer than the discharge time, and is used for determining the connection state at the connection terminal 11. It's time.
- the amount of charge stored in the capacitor 3 after charging is determined by the capacity of the capacitor 3.
- the discharge time is determined by a circuit connected to the capacitor 3 and performing discharge. Since the capacitance of the capacitor 3 and the resistance value of the resistor 22 are set in advance, the discharge time until the voltage of the capacitor 3 becomes zero when normally discharged can be set in advance. Therefore, the deterioration determination time can also be set in advance at the design stage.

- each characteristic has the same voltage as the voltage of the capacitor 3 before the relay switch 6 is turned on, and the voltage is the base point.
- the charge of the capacitor 3 is self-discharged after the charging is finished and before the relay switch 6 is turned on. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, even when the voltage of the capacitor 3 is the same voltage at the end of charging, the voltage drop of the capacitor 3 due to self-discharge varies depending on the timing when the relay switch 6 is turned on. Therefore, as shown in graph a, when charging is completed and the time (s 1 ) between holding the connector 10 in the holder 20 and turning on the relay switch 6 is short, when the relay switch 6 is turned on The detection voltage (V 1 ) is high, and the discharge time (T 1 ) from when the relay switch 6 is turned on until the voltage of the capacitor 3 becomes zero becomes long.
- FIG. 5 is a table showing the correspondence between the voltage of the capacitor 3 and the deterioration determination time.
- the discharge time varies depending on the voltage of the capacitor 3 when the relay switch 6 is turned on and the capacitor 3 is discharged. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, in this example, the voltage of the capacitor 3 at the start of discharge is divided into a plurality of voltage ranges in advance, and a deterioration determination time is assigned to each of the plurality of voltage ranges.
- the voltage of the capacitor 3 at the start of discharge is high, the discharge time until the voltage of the capacitor 3 becomes zero becomes long. Therefore, a long deterioration determination time is assigned to the high voltage range.
- the controller 5 refers to the table of FIG. 5 and the voltage range including the detection voltage 415 (V).
- the discharge time 3000 (ms) corresponding to (420 to 411 (V)) is set as the deterioration determination time.
- the controller 5 measures the discharge time from the time point when the relay switch 6 is turned on, and compares the measured discharge time with the deterioration determination time and the disconnection detection time.
- the discharge time until the detection voltage of the capacitor 3 becomes zero is equal to or less than the deterioration determination time
- the controller 5 is in the normal conduction state in the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11.
- the controller 5 has an abnormal connection state of the connection terminal 11 because the discharge is not performed normally and the discharge takes time.
- the controller 5 displays a warning lamp (not shown) provided in the charging device 100, for example, to notify the user or the like of the abnormality.
- the controller 5 when the controller 5 turns on the relay switch 6 and the discharge time becomes longer than the disconnection detection time before the detection voltage of the capacitor 3 becomes zero, the disconnection failure has occurred in the power line 2. ,to decide.
- the controller 5 displays a warning lamp (not shown), for example, to notify the user or the like of the abnormality.
- FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing a control procedure of the charging apparatus 100 of this example.
- step S1 the charging is completed, and the connector 10 is held by the holder 20.
- step S ⁇ b> 2 the holder switch 23 is turned on upon detecting the holding of the connector 10, and transmits a signal indicating the holding of the connector 10 to the controller 5.
- the controller 5 determines that the connector 10 is held by the holder 20, and proceeds to Step S3.
- the controller 5 returns to step S2.
- step S3 the controller 5 controls the voltage sensor 4 to detect the voltage of the capacitor 3 at a predetermined sampling period.
- step S4 the controller 5 refers to the table shown in FIG. 5 and sets the discharge time corresponding to the detected voltage in step S3 as the deterioration determination time.
- step S5 the controller 5 turns on the relay switch 6 to discharge the capacitor 3.
- the controller 5 measures the discharge time after the relay switch is turned on.
- step S6 the controller 5 compares the measured discharge time with the disconnection detection time. If the measured discharge time is longer than the disconnection detection time, the process proceeds to step S61.
- step S61 the controller 5 determines that a disconnection abnormality has occurred in the power line 2, turns on a display lamp (not shown), etc., notifies the disconnection abnormality, and proceeds to step 9.
- step S7 the controller 5 determines whether or not the detected voltage of the capacitor 3 has become zero. When the detection voltage of the capacitor 3 becomes zero, the controller 5 measures the discharge time until the detection voltage of the capacitor 3 becomes zero, and the process proceeds to step S8. On the other hand, if the detected voltage of the capacitor 3 is not zero, the process returns to step S6. That is, by the comparison judgment at step S6 and the loop control at step S7, the controller 5 determines that the detected voltage of the capacitor 3 does not become zero and the discharge time exceeds the disconnection detection time. Judgment can be made.
- step S8 the controller 5 compares the discharge time until the detection voltage of the capacitor 3 becomes zero with the deterioration determination time. If the discharge voltage is equal to or less than the deterioration determination time, the controller 5 determines that the conduction state of the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 is normal, and proceeds to step S9. On the other hand, when the discharge voltage is longer than the deterioration determination time, the controller 5 determines that the capacitor 3 is not sufficiently discharged and an abnormality due to deterioration of the connection terminal 11 occurs, and a display lamp (not shown) or the like is displayed. Turns on, notifies the deterioration abnormality, and proceeds to Step 9.
- step S9 the controller 5 turns off the relay switch 6 and ends the control process of this example.
- the electric power of the charging device 100 itself is used to conduct to the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11, and this conduction state is determined. Thereby, the abnormality of the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 can be detected without using a separate power source for failure diagnosis.
- the charging device 100 of this example holds the connector 10 in the holder 20, discharges the electric charge stored in the capacitor 3 through the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11, and based on the discharged state, the power line 2 and the connection terminal. 11 is determined.
- the discharge state of the capacitor 3 is affected. Therefore, this example can detect abnormality in the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 by detecting the discharge state. Further, in this example, since the connection abnormality is determined using the electric charge of the capacitor 3, a power source for detecting an abnormality in the conduction state of the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 can be omitted.
- this example can also discharge the electric charge of the capacitor
- a highly safe system can be provided.
- the deterioration determination time set as the discharge threshold time is compared with the discharge time, and when the discharge time is longer than the deterioration determination time, an abnormality occurs in the conduction state in the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11. Is determined. Thereby, it is possible to determine a contact failure due to deterioration of the connection terminal 11 or a disconnection abnormality of the power line 2 from the discharge state of the capacitor 3, and as a result, an abnormality in the conduction state of the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 is detected.
- the contact terminal 11 is a place where the connection of the charging port 30 or the like of the vehicle is repeatedly performed, and there is a possibility that contact abnormality may occur due to deterioration. If the connector 10 is flexible from the power line 2 to the power line 2, repeated charging will increase the chances of pressure being applied to the power line 2 corresponding to the flexible part. The power line 2 may be disconnected. In this example, an abnormality due to the deterioration or a disconnection abnormality of the power line 2 can be detected according to the discharge state of the capacitor 3, and a charging system can be provided with ease of use.
- the degradation determination time is set according to the detection voltage of the capacitor 3 detected before discharging the charge of the capacitor 3.
- the discharge time of the capacitor 3 changes according to the detection voltage of the capacitor 3 at the start of discharge.
- the threshold time is set according to the detection voltage of the capacitor 3 at the start of discharge
- the deterioration determination time can be set in accordance with the difference in voltage at the start of discharge, and the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 can be set. The accuracy of determining the conduction state in can be improved.
- the time from the end of charging until the connector 10 is held in the holder 20 varies depending on the user, the time during which the capacitor 3 self-discharges also varies. Therefore, the voltage of the capacitor 3 at the start of discharge may vary depending on the situation.
- the deterioration determination time is set according to the detection voltage of the capacitor 3, the deterioration determination time can be set while corresponding to the usage state of the connector 10 after charging, and the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 can be set. The accuracy of determining the conduction state in can be improved.
- the holder 20 is provided with the holder switch 23, and when the holding of the connector 10 is detected by the holder switch 23, the capacitor 3 is discharged.
- the relay switch 6 is turned on and the capacitor 3 is discharged in a state where the connector 10 is not completely held by the holder 20, the connection portion of the connection terminal 11 is not electrically conducted, and the controller 5
- the controller 5 There is a possibility of erroneous detection that the power line 2 is disconnected abnormally.
- the above-described erroneous detection can be prevented.
- the controller 5 sets the discharge time of the capacitor 3 when the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 are normal as the discharge threshold time, and the connection terminal 11 is set according to the time difference between the threshold time and the discharge time.
- the time difference between the discharge threshold time and the discharge time is large. Therefore, this example can determine the deterioration state of the connection terminal 11 according to the time difference between the threshold time and the discharge time.
- the controller 5 measures the discharge time and compares it with the threshold time to detect the discharge state of the capacitor 3.
- the discharge state of the capacitor 3 may be detected by the voltage drop of the capacitor 3. .
- the discharge speed of the capacitor 3 is the fastest when the power line 2 and the connection terminal 11 are both in the normal state, and the second fastest when the contact failure occurs in the connection portion of the connection terminal 11. When the power line 2 is disconnected, it is the slowest.
- the discharge rate corresponds to the voltage drop of the capacitor 3 per hour.
- the controller 5 controls the voltage sensor 7 and detects the voltage drop from the detected voltage in order to detect the capacitor 3 at a predetermined sampling period.
