Abstract
Description
通常は全ての歯が揃うことにより個々の歯は隣の歯に支持されるためその機能を十分に発揮することができる。
この様な歯の欠落に伴って発生する問題に対応する一つの方法として、欠落した歯があった部位にインプラントを植立する施術が広く採用されている。
通常のインプラントの設置のための施術方法を説明すると次の通りである。
まず欠落した歯があった部位を覆う歯肉を剥離し、骨にドリル孔を開けてから前記ドリル孔に図8に示すフィクスチャー300を埋設する。
前記フィクスチャー300には内部孔310が設けられていて、この内部孔310にアバットメントを捩じ込むことにより、前記フィクスチャー300にアバットメントを固定することができる。
しかしながら直径が3mm以下程度の前記内部孔310に蓋を設けた場合、この蓋を外す作業が非常に煩雑であり施術に時間が掛る他、蓋を外す作業の際に前記フィクスチャー300の周囲の患者の歯肉を傷つける可能性がある。
しかしながらこの細径樹脂捩りブラシは軸材周囲にらせん状ブラシ毛を成形した捩りブラシであり、歯間部の口腔清掃等、歯の表面に対して垂直方向に使用することは可能であるが、歯の土台となる骨に対して上下方向、すなわち歯の表面に沿った上下方向に使用することは困難であった(特許文献1)。
そもそも前記細径樹脂捩りブラシに代表される歯間ブラシは歯の表面に対して垂直方向に使用するものであり、歯の表面に対して水平方向に使用するインプラント内部清掃用ブラシとは全く作用機構の異なるものであり、インプラント内部清掃用ブラシ開発の参考となるものではない。

[3]前記捩りブラシ部が、一本の線材を滑らかに曲げて折り返して得られた二本の線材平行部に樹脂繊維を多数平行に配置してから前記二本の線材平行部を捩ることにより、前記捩りブラシ部の先端部を滑らかな曲線状に成形すると共に前記線材周囲にらせん状ブラシ毛を成形してなる、上記[1]または[2]に記載のインプラント内部清掃用ブラシを提供するものである。
[4]前記本体柱状部の回転機器取付部が、前記本体柱状部の長軸方向に対して水平な面方向に設けられた切り欠き部と、前記本体柱状部の外周に設けられた溝部とを含む、上記[1]~[3]のいずれかに記載のインプラント内部清掃用ブラシを提供するものである。
[5]前記捩りブラシ部の先端部が、前記中間柱状部の長軸中心線方向にブラシ毛を備えた、上記[1]~[4]のいずれかに記載のインプラント内部清掃用ブラシを提供するものである。
[6]前記捩りブラシ部の線材、中間柱状部および本体柱状部からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つが、樹脂により被覆されている、上記[1]~[5]のいずれかに記載のインプラント内部清掃用ブラシを提供するものである。
[7]前記捩りブラシ部の長軸方向の長さが8mm±3mm、前記中間柱状部の長軸方向の長さが9mm±3mm、および前記本体柱状部の長軸方向の長さが17mm±5mmであり、

[8]上記[1]~[7]のいずれかに記載のインプラント内部清掃用ブラシを回転機器に装着して前記インプラント内部清掃用ブラシを回転させながら、インプラントを構成するフィクスチャーに設けられた内部孔に、前記インプラント内部清掃用ブラシのらせん状ブラシ毛を成形した捩りブラシ部を挿入することによりインプラント内部を清掃する方法であって、
前記インプラント内部清掃用ブラシの回転速度が、100~1000rpmの範囲内であり、
前記インプラント内部清掃用ブラシのらせん状ブラシ毛の回転方向が、前記内部孔の内部から外部へ前記内部孔の内容物を排出する方向であることを特徴とする、インプラント内部清掃方法を提供するものである。
前記中間柱状部の長軸中心線に垂直な面に対する長軸中心線方向からの前記中間柱状部の投影面は、前記本体柱状部の長軸中心線方向に垂直な面に対する長軸中心線方向からの前記本体柱状部の投影面の内部に収まる。
このためインプラントを構成するフィクスチャーに設けられた内部孔にらせん状ブラシ毛を挿入する際、前記らせん状ブラシ毛を成形した捩りブラシ部に対する視認性に優れるために、適確かつ容易にらせん状ブラシ毛を、インプラントを構成するフィクスチャーに設けられた内部孔に挿入することができることから取り扱い性に優れる。
加えて回転する前記中間柱状部が、インプラントを構成するフィクスチャー近傍の歯肉部に接触しにくい構成を有することから、インプラント内部清掃中にフィクスチャー近傍の歯肉部を傷めることがないという効果を発揮することができる。
またインプラントの植立の手術後に、インプラント内部のネジの緩み、インプラントの破折等の予後不良を防止することができる。
本発明のインプラント内部清掃用ブラシ100は、線材周囲にらせん状ブラシ毛を成形した捩りブラシ部10を備える。
また本発明のインプラント内部清掃用ブラシ100は、前記捩りブラシ部10を固定した中間柱状部20と、前記中間柱状部を固定した本体柱状部30とを備えるものである。
前記本体柱状部30は、前記中間柱状部20を固定した端部とは反対側の端部に回転機器取付部40を有する。この回転機器取付部40を回転機器(図示せず)にはめ込み固定することにより、前記インプラント内部清掃用ブラシ100を回転させて使用することができる。
図3に例示される中間柱状部20と本体柱状部30は、ステンレス、チタン等の金属等から形成される。なお金属等の素材に代えて、あるいは金属等の素材と共にセラミック等の無機材料、スーパーエンジニアプラスチック等の有機材料等も使用することができる。
図3に例示される中間柱状部20と本体柱状部30とは、金属棒等を回転させながら切削等することにより形成することができる。また前記本体柱状部30の回転機器取付部40も同様に、前記本体柱状部30を回転させながら切削等し、グラインダー等の切削研磨器具を用いて切削することによって得ることができる。
また予め型を形成しておき、その型の内部に溶融させた金属等を注入して冷却した後、型を外すことによっても同様の形状を形成することが可能である。
また前記線材1の両端部1a,1bを前記中間柱状部20の一端に固定する方法としては、例えば溶接等の方法が挙げられる。具体的には前記線材の両端部1a,1bならびに前記中間柱状部20のそれぞれに高電圧を掛けておき、両者を接触させ溶融させて連結する方法等が挙げられる。
本発明に使用する樹脂繊維2に特に限定はないが、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル等の可撓性のある合成繊維等が挙げられる。
次に図2に例示される様に、一本の線材1を中央部で滑らかに曲げて折り返して得られた二本の線材平行部を捩ることにより、捩りブラシ部10の先端部3を滑らかな曲線状に成形することができ、前記線材周囲にらせん状ブラシ毛を成形することができる。
口腔内の歯肉等を傷つけると出血するが、この出血を防ぐことができることから出血等によるインプラント内部の汚染を防ぐことができる。
図6では前記捩りブラシ部10だけが観察され、前記中間柱状部20を観察することができない。
これは前記中間柱状部20の長軸中心線(図4の矢印Aの方向)に垂直な面に対する長軸中心線方向からの前記中間柱状部20の投影面が、前記中間柱状部20の長軸中心線に垂直な面に対するの長軸中心線からの前記捩りブラシ部10の投影面の内部に収まっているためである。
前記中間柱状部20の長軸中心線方向に対して垂直方向の切断面を基準として、前記捩りブラシ部10の最大径は、前記本体柱状部30の最大径を1としたときに、0.7~1.5の範囲にあることが好ましく、0.8~1.3の範囲にあることがより好ましく、0.9~1.1の範囲にあることがさらに好ましい。
同様に前記中間柱状部20の長軸中心線方向に対して垂直方向の切断面を基準として、前記中間柱状部20の最大径は、前記本体柱状部30の最大径を1としたときに、0.9~0.1の範囲にあることが好ましく、0.8~0.2の範囲にあることがより好ましく、0.7~0.4の範囲にあることがさらに好ましい。
ここで前記捩りブラシ部10の長さとは、前記中間柱状部20の長軸中心線を基準として、前記捩りブラシ部10が設置されている側の前記中間柱状部20の一端から、前記捩りブラシ部10の先端までの長さを意味する。以下の場合も同様である。
前記被覆に使用する樹脂としては、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等のポリオレフィン樹脂、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート等のポリエステル樹脂、ポリ四フッ化エチレン等のポリフッ素樹脂等が挙げられる。
図7は、実施例1により得られたインプラント内部清掃用ブラシ100を回転機器500に装着した状態を説明するための模式斜視図である。
先の図1に示した通り、本発明のインプラント内部清掃用ブラシ100は前記本体柱状部30に回転機器取付部40を有する。
前記回転機器取付部40は、前記本体柱状部20の長軸方向に対して水平な面方向に設けられた切り欠き部41と、前記本体柱状部の外周に設けられた溝部42とを含む。
なお前記インプラント内部清掃用ブラシ100の回転速度は、100~1000rpmの範囲が好ましく、200~900rpmの範囲がより好ましく、400~800rpmの範囲であればさらに好ましい。
前記インプラント内部清掃用ブラシ100の回転速度が100rpm未満の場合には、インプラント内部の清掃効率が低く、また1000rpmを超える場合には、インプラントを構成するフィクスチャー近傍の歯肉を傷付ける可能性がある。
本発明に使用する前記捩りブラシ10はらせん形状を有する。
図6において、正面から前記捩りブラシ10を見た場合、らせん形状が左回りに形成されているときには、正面から見て左方向に前記捩りブラシ10を回転させると、前記捩りブラシ10のらせん状ブラシに付着した患者の骨片、歯肉片、血液等や、日常の食事等の際に発生する食物残渣等の付着物は前記捩りブラシ10の先端方向とは反対側、すなわち前記中間柱状部20側に排出される。
実施例1に係るインプラント内部清掃用ブラシ100は、前記捩りブラシ部10の先端部3に、前記中間柱状部20の長軸中心線方向にブラシ毛が設置されていない。これに対し、実施例3に係るインプラント内部清掃用ブラシ200は、前記捩りブラシ部の先端部に、前記中間柱状部20の長軸中心線方向にブラシ毛が設置されている点が異なる。この点以外は実施例3に係るインプラント内部清掃用ブラシ200は実施例1に係るインプラント内部清掃用ブラシ100の場合と同様である。
図9に示される様に、捩りブラシ部の線材1を捩り、捩りブラシ部の先端に環状部4を形成する。
次に図10に示される様に、先の実施例1の場合で図5に示した工程と同様に、一本の線材1による二本の線材平行部に樹脂繊維2を多数平行に配置する。
次に図11に示される様に、一本の線材1を折り返して得られた二本の線材平行部を捩ることにより、前記線材1の周囲にらせん状ブラシ毛を成形することができる。
次に図12に示される様に、捩りブラシ部の先端の環状部4に多数の樹脂繊維11を通す。この多数の樹脂繊維11を中間柱状部20の長軸中心線方向に折り曲げる。
折り曲げられた多数の樹脂繊維11の周囲を樹脂繊維により縛る方法、折り曲げられた多数の樹脂繊維11の周囲を樹脂テープにより固定する方法等により、図13に示した前記捩りブラシ部の先端部にブラシ毛を形成することができる。
図13では、樹脂繊維11が前記樹脂繊維5により縛られている。
実施例2に係るインプラント内部清掃用ブラシ200は、前記捩りブラシ部の先端部にブラシ毛である多数の樹脂繊維11を有することから、前記中間柱状部の長軸中心線方向に前記捩りブラシ部の先端部に対してブラシ毛を設置することができる。このブラシ毛により、インプラントを構成するフィクスチャーに設けられた内部孔を清掃することができる。

前記インプラント内部清掃用ブラシの回転速度が、100~1000rpmの範囲内であり、
前記インプラント内部清掃用ブラシのらせん状ブラシ毛の回転方向が、前記内部孔の内部から外部へ前記内部孔の内容物を排出する方向であることを特徴とする、インプラント内部清掃方法。
