Abstract
Description
このように、連結部材の中央部、すなわち乗員の腰部に対応する部分を、リクライニング装置の中心軸よりも下方に配設することにより、連結部材の中央部と、乗員の背中が当接するシートバックの背もたれ面との距離が長くなる。つまり、連結部材の中央部は、乗員の腰部からより遠い位置に配設される構成となる。その結果、連結部材において乗員の腰部がシートバック内に沈み込みやすくなり、乗員の後方移動を抑制することがない。したがって、乗員の腰部を含む上体がシートバックに沈み込みやすい。
このように連結部材の端部、すなわちサイドフレームに接合される部分が、リクライニング装置の中心軸(回動軸)よりも下方に配設されることにより、連結部材はリクライニング装置のさらに下方に配設される構成となる。その結果、乗員の腰部に連結部材があたることがなく、乗員の後方移動を連結部材によって妨げることがない。したがって、乗員の上体を十分にシートバックに沈み込ませることができる。
このように、連結部材の中央部と、端部との間に設けられた屈曲部に跨乗する構成の補強部材が備えられることにより、屈曲部の剛性を高めることができる。その結果、連結部材の剛性を向上させることができる。
また、上記構成の補強部材を、リクライニング装置の中心軸よりも下方に配設することにより、乗員の後方移動が補強部材によって妨げられることがなく、乗員の後方移動を抑制することがない。
このように連結部材の端部よりも補強部材が下方に配設されることにより、乗員の腰部が補強部材にあたることがない。したがって、乗員の後方移動を抑制することがない。また、補強部材において、連結部材と固定される部位に凸部が設けられている。例えば、連結部材と当接する面を構成する脚部と、連結部材の屈曲部を跨ぐように形成された架設部との間に凸部(ビード)が設けられる。補強部材の脚部と架設部は板材を略垂直で折り曲げて形成されており、互いの面を跨ぐように凸部が形成されているため、補強部材自体の剛性が向上する。
このようにサイドフレームにショルダーアンカー部を配設し、シートベルトを設けた車両用シートにおいて、連結部材の両末端は、互いに異なる高さに配設される。そして、ショルダーアンカー部が取付けられたサイドフレームと接合する方の端部は、他方の端部よりも高い位置に配設される。連結部材の両末端の取付け高さが互いに異なる構成とすることにより、シートベルトが引っ張られてショルダーアンカー部、さらにはショルダーアンカー部が取付けられたサイドフレームに荷重がかかった場合であっても、その荷重を分散させることができる。
このように、本発明の車両用シートは、シートバックフレームの下方位置に備えられた連結部材に乗員の後方移動時の動きを吸収するエネルギー吸収部材が接合されている。そして、エネルギー吸収部材の接合部、すなわち取付部が、連結部材と他部品との接合部に接合されているため、エネルギー吸収部材が接合する面積が大きくなり、その取付剛性が向上する。また、連結部材と他部品との接合部は剛性が高く、この部分にエネルギー吸収部材が固定されることにより、エネルギー取付部材の取付け剛性が向上するものである。
このように、本発明において、エネルギー吸収部材を構成する部材が屈曲し、枠体を構成するように折り曲げられ、シートバックフレームの下方に取付けられた連結部材と一体となるように接合される。このような構成とすることにより、エネルギー吸収部材の強度を保持することができると共に、乗員の腰部を支持可能な範囲(面積)が大きくなる。
そして、このような構成のエネルギー吸収部材とすることにより、乗員の腰部を保持するために十分な面積を確保できると共に、軽量化が可能となる。
このように、本発明の車両用シートは、シートバックフレームの下方位置、すなわち乗員の腰部付近の後方に線状(棒状)のエネルギー吸収部材を備えている。このエネルギー吸収部材は、後面衝突時、乗員の腰部が急激に後方に沈み込む際のエネルギーを吸収する構成となっている。
従来、乗員腰部が急激に後方へ沈み込む動きによるエネルギーを吸収する部材として、板状のプレートで形成されたものが知られていた。これに対し、本発明のように、パイプやワイヤーのような線状部材をエネルギー吸収部材として配設することにより、プレート形状に形成されたエネルギー吸収部材と比較して、軽量化することができる。
請求項2の発明によれば、連結部材の中央部を、リクライニング中心軸よりも下方に配設することにより、乗員が後方移動しやすい車両用シートとすることができる。
請求項3の発明によれば、サイドフレームと接合した連結部材の端部をリクライニング中心軸よりも下方に配設することにより、乗員の後方移動が妨害されることがない車両用シートを提供することができる。
請求項4の発明によれば、連結部材の屈曲部に補強部材が備えられることにより、連結部材の剛性を向上する事ができる。
請求項5の発明によれば、補強部材の折り曲げられた部分に凸部を設けることにより、より剛性が向上した連結部を備えた車両用シートを提供することができる。
請求項6の発明によれば、サイドフレームのショルダーアンカー部に加わる荷重を分散させることが可能な車両用シートとすることができる。
請求項7の発明によれば、エネルギー吸収部材を、連結部材と他部品との連結部近傍に固定しているため、エネルギー吸収部材の取付剛性が向上した車両用シートを提供することができる。
請求項8の発明によれば、エネルギー吸収部材を枠状とすることにより、乗員の腰部が後方移動する動きを吸収するための面積を確保すると共に、軽量化した車両用シートとすることができる。
請求項9の発明によれば、エネルギー吸収部材を線状部材によって形成したことにより、一層軽量化した車両用シートを提供することができる。

つまり、シートバックフレーム1の一部を構成するサイドフレーム11,12は、上下方向に所定の長さで構成されており、左右方向に所定間隔を有して対向して配設されている。そして、シートバックフレーム1内(両側のサイドフレーム11,12の間)でシートバックフレーム1の内側領域には、クッションパッド1aを後方から支える姿勢保持部材としての架設部材61が配設されている。
このように、車体外側に配設されるサイドフレーム11は閉断面構造を有しており、車体内側に設けられたサイドフレーム12よりも強度が大きく形成されている。シートベルト一体の車両用シートSでは、車両の衝突などによりシートベルトBに乗員からの大きな荷重が加わり、ショルダーベルト部B1が取付けられる車体外側のサイドフレーム11に大きな荷重が加わるため、このように車体外側のサイドフレーム11の剛性が高くなるような構造としている。
ショルダーアンカー部14は、車体外側(車体ドア側)に位置するサイドフレーム11と略同じ位置又はサイドフレーム11より外側に寄せて配設されている。
本実施形態において、図2に示すように、シートバックフレーム1の下方、すなわち乗員の腰部に対応する部分には、メンバーパイプ40が備えられた構成となっている。
なお、本実施形態では、サイドフレーム11にサイドフレーム補助部材30を取付けた例を示したが、サイドフレーム補助部材30が備えられていないサイドフレーム11に端部40aが連結された構成としても良い。
図2に示すように、シートバックフレーム1の下方、すなわち乗員の腰部に対応する部分には、エネルギー吸収部材44としてのEAワイヤーが備えられている。エネルギー吸収部材44は、シートバックフレーム1の下方に配設されたメンバーパイプ40に接合された構成となっている。
この構成によってエネルギー吸収部材44はメンバーパイプ40に対して強固に取付けることが可能である。
本実施形態において、図2に示すように、着座フレーム2は、シート幅を構成する着座側サイドフレーム121,123がそれぞれサイドフレーム11,12の下方に配設されている。そして、着座側サイドフレーム121は、車両の前後方向に延設される下部着座側サイドフレーム22と、下部着座側サイドフレーム22の後方上部に連結された上部着座側サイドフレーム21とを備えている。着座側サイドフレーム123もまた同様に、下部着座側サイドフレーム24と、上部着座側サイドフレーム23とを備えている。
この構成により、さらに下部着座側サイドフレーム22の剛性を向上させることができる。
図9は、本発明の他の実施形態を示すものであり、メンバーパイプ40とエネルギー吸収部材45の構成示す拡大説明図である。
本実施形態は、エネルギー吸収部材44が略矩形状に形成された上述の実施形態とは異なり、ほぼ直線状に形成されたエネルギー吸収部材45を特徴としている。エネルギー吸収部材45の構成以外は、用いられる材料、効果等、上述の実施形態と同様であるため、その説明を省略する。
図10は、本発明の他の実施形態を示すものであり、着座側サイドフレーム121’の説明図である。本実施形態は、連結部21xに、下部フレーム補強部としての下部フレーム外面膨出部22cのみを設けた上述の実施形態とは異なり、下部フレーム補強部として、さらに外面凸部22f’が配設されたことを特徴としている。なお、他の実施形態である着座側サイドフレーム121’に関し、上記実施形態の着座側サイドフレーム121と共通する構成の説明は省略する。
図11のように、シートバックフレーム1には、バックカバー62を備えた構成としても良い。バックカバー62は合成樹脂等によって形成される板状の部材であり、シートバックフレーム1の後方側に取付けられる。そして、バックカバー62は表皮材1bと共にクッションパッド1aの背部を覆うように組み付けられる。
Claims (9)
- 一対のサイドフレームと、該一対のサイドフレームを上方で連結する上部フレームと、前記一対のサイドフレームを下方で連結する単数又は複数の連結部材と、を有するシートバックフレームと、
前記一対のサイドフレームの下方に設けられたリクライニング装置と、を備え、
前記連結部材は、前記一対のサイドフレームに接合する端部と、略中央に位置する中央部と、を有し、
該中央部の上側表面は、乗員の腰部の下方に配設されてなることを特徴とする車両用シート。 - 前記連結部材の前記中央部は、前記リクライニング装置が回動する中心軸よりも下方に配設されてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用シート。
- 前記連結部材の端部は、前記リクライニング装置が回動する中心軸よりも下方に配設されてなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用シート。
- 前記連結部材は、前記端部と前記中央部との間に形成された屈曲部を有し、
前記屈曲部を跨ぐ位置で前記連結部材に接合される補強部材をさらに備え、
前記補強部材は前記リクライニング装置が回動する中心軸よりも下方に配設されてなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の車両用シート。 - 前記連結部材の前記端部のうち、一方の端部と他方の端部は互いに異なる高さで配設され、
前記補強部材は、前記連結部材の前記端部のうち、前記補強部材が前記連結部材に取付けられる位置から近い位置に配設された前記端部よりも下方に取付けられ、
前記補強部材の前記連結部材と固定される部位には、凸部が形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両用シート。 - 一方のサイドフレームの上部にシートベルトのショルダーベルト部を挿通するショルダーアンカー部をさらに備え、
前記ショルダーアンカー部が取付けられた側の前記サイドフレームに接合された前記連結部材の端部は、他方側の端部よりも高い位置に配設されてなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の車両用シート。 - 前記連結部材の略中央位置に、乗員の後方移動のエネルギーを吸収するエネルギー吸収部材をさらに備え、
該エネルギー吸収部材は、前記連結部材と他部品との連結部近傍に接合されてなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の車両用シート。 - 前記エネルギー吸収部材は、前記連結部材と接合され、枠状に形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の車両用シート。
- 前記エネルギー吸収部材は、線状部材によって形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載の車両用シート。
