- the thickness of the magnetic material can be reduced to, for example, 100 ⁇ m or 100 ⁇ m or less, so that a thin metal-compatible RFID tag corresponding to a metal adherend can be produced.
- Patent Document 1 As another RFID tag of the radio wave system used in the UHF band and the SHF band, a configuration in which a magnetic body is provided between an antenna and an adherend is proposed as shown in Patent Document 1 below.
- a soft magnetic material is disposed between an antenna and a metal adherend.
- the antenna used is only described to the extent of a dipole antenna and its modified antenna, and there is no detailed description of the antenna shape in actual verification, and the thickness of the magnetic material is also 1 mm (communication distance is 15 mm). Only examples are described.
- the radio wave type RFID tag used in the UHF band and the SHF band has a problem that it is too thick to be used as a label and cannot be practically used.
- the width of the antenna is usually 1 mm or less, and some RFID tags adopt a meander shape by narrowing the antenna width in order to reduce the size and improve the antenna gain.
- the RFID tag described in Patent Document 1 includes a general antenna as described above, sufficient communication performance cannot be obtained simply by thinning the soft magnetic material. I understand.
- the present invention has been made in view of such problems, and is thin and small that can be used for radio waves in the UHF band and SHF band and can communicate even when attached to a metal adherend.

- the magnetic sheet having a thickness of 400 ⁇ m was used by stacking two magnetic sheets having a thickness of 200 ⁇ m.
- magnetic sheets with a thickness exceeding 400 ⁇ m were excluded from the experiment.
- the antenna elements 25 and 26 were changed in width in 2 steps, 2 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm, and 15 mm, and in length in 3 steps, 20 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm.

- the maximum output of the handy reader R is 1 W, but the specification allows the output to be varied in 1 dB steps.
- the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 is extremely thin (100 ⁇ m)
- the difference in the communication distance due to the length of the antenna element is difficult when the output of the handy reader R is 0.5 W. It was.
- the output when the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 was 200 ⁇ m and 400 ⁇ m, the output was 0.5 W (27 dBm), and when the thickness was 100 ⁇ m, the output was 1 W (30 dBm).
- a similar experiment was performed using a chip strap 30 in which the impedance and resistance value of the circuit portion were reduced.
- FIG. 5, FIG. 6, and FIG. 7 show the experimental results when the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 is 100 ⁇ m, 200 ⁇ m, and 400 ⁇ m using the chip strap 28 having the circuit part 22 having a large impedance and resistance value, respectively.
- the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 shown in FIG. 5 is 100 ⁇ m
- the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 is 2 mm
- the information is read by the handy reader R in all the experimental lengths of the antenna elements 25 and 26. I could not.
- the widths of the antenna elements 25 and 26 are 5 mm or more and the lengths are 30 mm and 40 mm, it has been found that communication is possible up to a predetermined distance.
- the communication distance tends to increase as the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 increases. It was found that in each case where the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 shown in FIG. 7 is 400 ⁇ m, the communication distance becomes longer than when the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 corresponds to 200 ⁇ m. Further, it was confirmed that the communication distance tends to increase as the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 increases. Further, in this case, it was found that the communication distance when the length of the antenna elements 25 and 26 is 40 mm is shorter than the communication distance when the length is 20 mm and 30 mm.
- the communication distance tends to increase as the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 increases. Further, in this case, it has been found that the communication distance when the length of the antenna elements 25 and 26 is 40 mm is shorter than the communication distance when the length is 20 mm and 30 mm. In each case where the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 shown in FIG. 10 is 400 ⁇ m, it was confirmed that the communication distance tends to be longer than when the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 corresponds to 200 ⁇ m. Also in this case, it was confirmed that the communication distance tends to increase as the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 increases. Further, it was found that the communication distance when the length of the antenna elements 25 and 26 is 40 mm is shorter than the communication distance when the length is 20 mm and 30 mm.
- the communication distance tends to be longer when the chip strap 28 is used than when the chip strap 30 is used. It was done. This is presumably because the impedance of the chip strap 28 is more matched to the antenna elements 25 and 26 than the chip strap 30.
- the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 is not less than 100 ⁇ m and not more than 400 ⁇ m, the communication distance increases as the width of the antenna elements 25, 26 increases regardless of the impedance of the circuit section and the length of the antenna elements 25, 26. It turns out that it tends to be long. It was also confirmed that this tendency appears more prominently as the magnetic sheet 10 is thinner. On the other hand, it was also found that the difference in the communication distance depending on the lengths of the antenna elements 25 and 26 tends to decrease as the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 increases.
- the influence on the communication distance is dominated by the length of the antenna element, and the width of the antenna element is such that the band is widened. It is known that it only works. In this experiment, it was confirmed that, unlike this trend, the influence on the communication distance can greatly improve the communication distance by increasing the width of the antenna element.
- the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 and the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 are adjusted while adjusting the impedance of the circuit unit. It is considered that the information can be read by the handy reader R by optimizing the length.
- the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 is set to 100 ⁇ m or more and 400 ⁇ m or less, and the widths of the antenna elements 25 and 26 are set to 2 mm or more and 15 mm or less, respectively.
- the nameplate 201 includes the sealing layer 232, liquid, dust, moisture, gas, and the like are prevented from entering the hole 231 b of the nameplate body 231, and the durability of the communication unit 20 can be improved.
- the magnetic sheet 10 is a relatively expensive part.
- the magnetic sheet 10 is preferably as small as possible. Therefore, in the plan view shown in FIG. 2, an experiment for confirming the effect of the protruding length L, which is the length that the magnetic sheet 10 protrudes in the sandwiching direction D with respect to the antenna elements 25 and 26, on the communication distance. went. For example, when an antenna element having a width of 10 mm is used as the antenna elements 25 and 26, the protruding length L is 13.5 mm according to the equation (1). (50- (10 ⁇ 2 + 3)) / 2 (1)
- FIGS. 11 to 15 show experimental results when the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 is 200 ⁇ m.
- 16 to 18 show experimental results when the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 is 400 ⁇ m.
- 11 to 13 show experimental results when the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 is 5 mm.
- 14 and 15 show experimental results when the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 is 10 mm.
- the length of the antenna elements 25 and 26 is any of 20 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm. Even when the protrusion length L was 0 mm, it was found that the information could not be read by the handy reader R.
- 16 to 18 show experimental results when the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 is 5 mm. It was found that when the thickness of the magnetic sheet 10 is 400 ⁇ m, communication is possible even when the width of the antenna elements 25 and 26 is 5 mm and the protruding length L is 0 mm.
- the non-contact IC label 1 can be easily manufactured.

・磁性シート10:竹内工業(株)製 μシート(商品名) HU02(厚さ200μm)およびHU01(厚さ100μm)
・950MHz帯RFID用アンテナ:三菱電機社製 RF-ATCP001(円偏波 最大利得6dBi)
