- the present invention relates to a furniture fabric, and a chair in which a tension material for supporting a load such as the back of the body or the lower half of the body is stretched on a frame-like frame in a backrest or a seat.
- the surface where the seated person's body contacts that is, the backrest surface that supports the body and the seating surface of the seat body are knitted or woven into a mesh shape to form an elastic structure.
- a tension member made of a fabric (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2).
- Such a tension material supports the upper part of the back as compared with the lower part supporting the lower part of the back, for example, the amount of backward deflection that is elastically deformed by the load of the body when the seated person leans on the backrest.
- the upper side is enlarged, it is possible to obtain an appropriate breathability as well as a comfortable sitting comfort.
- a belt-like mesh portion (low elastic portion) facing in the left-right direction is formed on the entire surface of the fabric constituting the upholstery material (backrest sheet body). Since the mesh parts are alternately arranged in the vertical direction and knitted in a plurality of stages, the amount of flexure of the entire tension material is substantially uniform, and the rear side of the upper side compared to the lower side It is not possible to improve the sitting comfort by increasing the amount of bending.
- the upholstery material is formed by composing long yarns in a mesh shape, and its own elastic deformation force is uniform in any part of the entire fabric surface. For this reason, when this upholstery is applied to the backrest surface of the backrest of a chair or the seating surface of a seat, for example, the support strength against the load of the seated person's back, buttocks, and parts where the feet touch each other is different. With a tension material having a uniform deformation force, a preferred seating feeling corresponding to each part of the body cannot be obtained.
- Patent Document 3 a backrest upholstery material is given a strong elastic resistance to the waist of a seated person who requires a strong support force. There is one configured to be able to do this (Patent Document 3).
- the upholstery material stretched on the backrest of the chair described in Patent Document 3 is completely divided into a mesh-like ground structure in an elastic fabric and a strip that is denser than the ground structure, and has a strong bearing force. Is configured to correspond to the portion corresponding to the waist portion of the seated person, and the ground tissue to correspond to the other portions.
