- Example 22 graphite materials having different thermal expansion coefficients are combined to correct sagging by applying pressure to the raw graphite film during the heat treatment process due to the difference in thermal expansion.
- the carbonized film was hot-pressed at a temperature of 2600 ° C. or higher to correct the sagging of the film.
- Example 25 the film was pushed outward from the inner core by dividing and expanding the core.
- the surface property of the raw graphite film was also improved by the pressure in the surface direction applied during the flatness correction treatment, and the obtained graphite film was very uniform with no unevenness.
- the graphite film that has been subjected to the flatness correction treatment process has high flatness, so that it was difficult for wrinkles to occur in the lamination test.
- the film stretches by about 10% in the graphitization process. This is a change different from thermal expansion, and is an irreversible structural change in which carbons having an amorphous structure are arranged in the plane direction. Therefore, even if a film that has been heat-treated only to 1800 ° C. or less is wound around the inner core, the film stretches away from the inner core, so that sagging cannot be corrected. In particular, the effect of correcting the sag at 2600 ° C. or higher is due to the fact that the film heat-treated up to 2600 ° C. has been stretched and thus easily received the expansion force of the inner core. Further, since the strength was stronger than the film graphitized at 2200 to 2600 ° C., the rewinding work was easy, and the yield of Example 1 was better than that of Examples 4, 5, and 16-18.
- linear expansion coefficient (linear expansion coefficient) of the inner core is 2.0 ⁇ 10 ⁇ 6 / K or more and 5.0 ⁇ 10 ⁇ 6 / K or less, it is sufficient without causing film breakage failure. The slack was able to be corrected.
- Example 1 was less likely to cause tearing failure.
- Example 1 ⁇ Effect of vertical rewind>
- Example 1 in which the rewinding process was performed in a vertical winding and Example 27 using the edge position control were able to be rewinded with the ends aligned, so that the flatness was achieved.
- the effect of correction was high and the yield was also high. This is because when the ends are aligned, the force from the inner core can be transmitted evenly during the flatness correction process.
- Examples 22 to 25 show an embodiment in which the flatness correction treatment step is performed in the graphitization step.
- Example 22 by combining graphite materials having different thermal expansion coefficients, pressure was applied to the film in the vicinity of the maximum temperature in the graphitization process due to the difference in thermal expansion.
- Example 23 hot pressing was performed at a temperature of 2600 ° C. or higher to correct the film.
- Example 24 the film loosened from the core in the process of graphitization was wound up by rotating the inner core while maintaining a high temperature state of 2600 ° C., and processed to 2900 ° C.
- Example 25 in addition to the process of Example 24, the film was spread outward from the inner core by dividing and expanding the core, and the flatness correction treatment was performed.
- Example 1 and Example 15 are compared.
