Abstract
Description
接着剤層形成工程において、金属部品14と、非金属部品11との接合面において、紫外線嫌気硬化型接着剤12aからなる接着剤層12を形成する。
接着剤層12を形成した後、紫外線照射工程において、接着剤層12に対して、非金属部品11と金属部品14との隙間から、紫外線を照射する。例えば、図2の(a)の右欄に示すように、紫外線照射装置40を用いて紫外線41を、非金属部品11の段11aと、金属部品14との隙間から照射する。
金属部品14の材料としては、様々な金属を用いることができるが、例えば、Fe、Al、Cu、Ag、Au、およびこれらの合金を挙げることができる。特に、Fe、Cu、またはFeもしくはCuの少なくともいずれか一方を含む合金(例えば、ステンレス、真鍮)は、後述する実施例に示すように、短時間で硬化させることができ、また、良好な熱伝導性を有するため、好ましい。
本明細書において「非金属」とは、金属の性質を持たない、金属以外の材料をいう。本実施形態に係る電子部品では、金属部品14と非金属部品11との接合に高温条件が不要であるため、非金属部品11の材料としては様々なものを用いることができる。例えば、樹脂、セラミック、ガラス、およびゴムからなる群より選ばれる一つ以上の材料を挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。樹脂としては、例えば、PE(ポリエチレン)、PP(ポリプロピレン)、PI(ポリイミド)、ABS(アクリロニトリル・ブタジエン・スチレン共重合体)、PEEK(ポリエーテルエーテルケトン)、LCP(液晶ポリマー)等が挙げられる。また、セラミックとしては、例えば、Al2O3、SiC等が挙げられる。
紫外線嫌気硬化型接着剤12aは、紫外線硬化するとともに、嫌気硬化する接着剤であればよいが、光重合開始剤、有機過酸化物、および樹脂を含有することが好ましい。
(接着性評価用サンプルの製作)
実施例および比較例において用いた接着性評価用サンプル100の製作について、図3を参照して以下に説明する。
次に、製作した接着性評価用サンプルのそれぞれについて、接着性の評価を行った。接着性の評価は、接着剤102の硬化可否を判定することによって行った。
接着剤の可使時間とは、一定条件(一般的には25℃(室温)条件)において、樹脂の粘度が上昇し始めるまでの時間をいう。可使時間は、ポットライフともいう。可使時間は、作業性の指標として使用され得る。
実施例1で用いたものと同じ接着剤(紫外線嫌気硬化型接着剤BU730UF、東亞合成、商品名アロニックス(登録商標))を使用して、電子体温計の実機200を製作した。樹脂製本体ケース(非金属部品)201の先端部に紫外線嫌気硬化型接着剤BU730UFを塗布し、ステンレスキャップ(金属部品)204をはめ合わせた。接着面における樹脂製本体ケース201と、ステンレスキャップ204との間の距離は、250μmとした。続いて、紫外線照射装置を使用して、出力600mW/cm2で2秒間(紫外線照射量としては1200mJ/cm2)照射した後)、60℃恒温槽において、10分間放置した。
図6は、上述した実機200における樹脂製本体ケース201と、ステンレスキャップ204との接着部の拡大写真である。樹脂製本体ケース201と、ステンレスキャップ204との図6の紙面縦方向の隙間(樹脂製本体ケース201の段201aと、ステンレスキャップ204の端面204aとの間)L201-204は、2~20μmであった。
(追記事項)
本発明に係る電子部品では、上記接着剤層の厚さは、0μmを超え、400μm以下であることが好ましい。

Claims (13)
- 非金属部品と、当該非金属部品の表面上に設けられた被覆領域を覆う金属部品とを備えている電子部品であって、
上記被覆領域と、上記金属部品とが、光重合開始剤および有機過酸化物を含有する紫外線嫌気硬化型接着剤が硬化してなる接着剤層を介して接着していることを特徴とする電子部品。 - 上記接着剤層の厚さは、0μmを超え、400μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子部品。
- 上記被覆領域と、上記非金属部品の表面において当該被覆領域と隣接する隣接領域との間に、当該隣接領域が上記被覆領域よりも隆起するように段が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子部品。
- 上記非金属部品と、上記金属部品とが面一であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電子部品。
- 上記金属部品は、鉄、銅、または、鉄および銅の少なくとも一方を含む合金から形成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子部品。
- 上記非金属部品は、樹脂、セラミック、ガラス、およびゴムからなる群より選ばれる一つ以上の材料から形成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子部品。
- 上記金属部品および上記非金属部品によって囲まれた中空部と、
上記中空部内に配置されたセンサとをさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子部品。 - 上記センサが、温度を感知するセンサであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の電子部品。
- 請求項8に記載の電子部品を備えていることを特徴とする電子体温計。
- 非金属部品と、当該非金属部品の表面上に設けられた被覆領域を覆う金属部品とを備えている電子部品の製造方法であって、
上記被覆領域と、上記金属部品との間に、光重合開始剤および有機過酸化物を含有する紫外線嫌気硬化型接着剤からなる接着剤層を形成する接着剤層形成工程、および
上記非金属部品と上記金属部品との隙間に、紫外線を照射する紫外線照射工程を包含していることを特徴とする電子部品の製造方法。 - 上記接着剤層の厚さは、0μmを超え、400μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電子部品の製造方法。
- 上記被覆領域と、上記非金属部品の表面において当該被覆領域と隣接する隣接領域との間に、当該隣接領域が上記被覆領域よりも隆起するように段が設けられており、
上記紫外線照射工程では、当該段と上記金属部品と隙間に紫外線を照射することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電子部品の製造方法。 - 上記金属部品は、鉄、銅、または、鉄および銅の少なくとも一方を含む合金から形成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電子部品の製造方法。
