Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase and stabilize bonding strength by charging a specified curable composition between a rotor and a shaft, and curing a squeeze-out portion by UV ray irradiation followed by complete cure of the residual portion.
CONSTITUTION: A UV ray-curable, anaerobically curable composition consisting of 100pts.wt anaerobically curable acrylate resin, about 0.1W10pts.wt. org. peroxide such as benzoyl peroxide and about 0.1W10pts.wt. photosensitizer such as benzoin, is used. Said curable composition is charged between rotor 2 constituted of a plurality of iron pieces 2' and shaft 1. Then after fillet 4' is formed by curing squeezed composition 4 by UV ray irradiation, the entire composition 4 is cured completely by heating at about 120°C for about 20min, to firmly bond the rotor 2 to the shaft 1.
