Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively bond an energetic ray-nonpermeable adherend surface by irradiating an uncured film of a cation-polymerizable, energetic ray-curable resin composition applied on the adherend surface with an energetic ray and then attaching said adherend surface before said film is cured.
CONSTITUTION: A composition prepd. by compounding an epoxy resin with a compd. producing a Lewis acid when irradiated with an energetic ray and arranged so as to lose adhesion about 1secW15min after the starting of irradiation with the energetic ray, is used as a cation-polymerizable, energetic ray-curable resin composition. Namely, an adherend surface is coated with said composition, which is irradiated with the energetic ray, and then the adherend surface is attached and bonded after the starting of cationic polymn. of said composition byt before the disappearance of adhesion thereof.
