Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Solarzelle (1) umfassend ein Substrat (2), eine Halbleiterschicht (3), einen ersten Busbar (4) auf einer ersten Oberfläche (5) der Halbleiterschicht (3) und einen zweiten Busbar (6) auf einer zweiten Oberfläche (7) der Halbleiterschicht (3), wobei der erste Busbar (4) entlang einer Verbindungslinie (8) Kontaktinseln (9,9') mit einer maximalen Breite blmax senkrecht zur Verbindungslinie (8) aufweist, zwischen denen sich auf der Verbindungslinie (8) jeweils ein Stromsammelbereich (10) befindet, welcher die Kontaktinseln (9,9') in einem Kontaktbereich (11) kontaktiert, wobei der Kontaktbereich (11) auf beiden Seiten der Verbindungslinie (8) zwei äußere Punkte (P1) und (P2) aufweist, deren Abstand senkrecht zur Verbindungslinie (8) eine maximale Breite bSmax des Stromsammelbereichs (10) definiert, wobei blmax< bSmax gilt, und die Breite b des Stromsammelbereichs (10) ausgehend von einer Kontaktinsel (9) bis zu einer benachbarten Kontaktinsel (9') zunächst bis zu einer minimalen Breite bSmin zwischen zwei inneren Punkten (P3) und (P4) abnimmt und dann bis zur benachbarten Kontaktinsel (9') wieder auf eine maximale Breite bSmax' zunimmt.
